posted a message on Priest Discussion: Are they OP?

I think I couldn't say what made them so strong, but they are for sure. In my opinion, the problem with priests is that they are annoying as hell to play against, they need "less good luck" to beat you than any other class, because they can play überpassive even if you go aggro-mode and still crush you with so many different options, and that feeling of "So, what the fuck should I do? Because he can counter every single movement I do" is more common against them than against any other hero. Of course you can win against them, but you need to put a lot of effort and have much more luck than priest players.

I find playing against priests plain disgusting, their mechanics are 110% antifun for me, and I don't have that feeling against any other class. I mean, I can keep playing the game for a really long time, even when losing a lot of matches, but the moment I get a priest-streak I'll just quit the game in a really bad mood (even if I win). That happens to some of my friends too (Skype multi-conver and hearing every now and then "Oh no, another fucking priest"). But I couldn't say how to fix them.

Mind Control is disgusting for sure, I hate that spell in its current form. It's a fucking lazy spell, much more than any other delete-card (I know the higher cost, but anyway they got another 2 removal spells (x4 cards) with ridiculous low cost). Their buff cards such as PW: Shield are quite silly too, and Lightspawn buff was, imo, stupid as hell (I like the minion itself, but 4/4 was enough, more knowing how can a priest buff that HP and his healing mechanics). When all that shit is obnoxious enough, then they can copy your cards, extra cards! If it had some drawback like discarding some of your own or something, but that's not the case. Their crazy combo mojito party with Inner Fire on top of everything is just mad, and you can use it both to buff your own minions or put enemy's in SW range. But at least that's a funny mechanic and you need to use your brains a bit.

I don't know, I feel I'm driving mad while typing this cause there are so many things I hate about priest that I can't even think properly. I'll give it a try later if I can.

Oh, and I hate Anduin as a character, and the priest thematic itself. It's a living nightmare.

Sorry for my English, bye <3

Shadowflame is a fucking amazing combo with Leroy Jenkins

Even more amazing with a few spell damage minions.

I think shadowflame doesn't benefit from spell damage bonus, is just minion's you sacrifice damage.

What are the "gold cards"? How do they differ from the normal besides the golden ornaments?

It's just that, same card in terms of gameplay, but it has a golden portrait and its picture has some animation.

I hate my golden Voidwalkers/Infernals, they would be so lovely in a metallic purple/blue portrait and their animated picture :________(

Edit: Oh, and you get [much] more arcane dust when disenchanting golden cards, compared to their normal version.

Shadowflame is a fucking amazing combo with Leroy Jenkins, when you get both with 8 mana it feels almost like a Twisting Nether (even better cause only on enemy minions). Drop Leroy for a nice nuke on enemy's face, then shadowflame for 6 damage on every enemy minion (and you kill the dragons you give to the enemy when Leroy is summoned). In some scenarios, if you have a bit of board control, that's almost gg.

In my opinion, at least with this deck, I'm getting better results with Ragnaros than Ysera. Plus if they silence Ragny, he becomes a 8/8 that hits like a truck :3

For now I'm doing quite well, only problem are priests, I find them fucking disgusting after buffs.

Yeh! That's "similar" to what I'm using! I see the differences as ocasional pro/cons, yours have some advantages and mine others. For now, with that changes you both suggested, I'm starting to get better results! :P

    So thanks a lot!

OK, for now I'll drop both Darkscales + 1 Soulfire and check some of the alternatives you say (going right now for Flame Imps!)

Thanks a lot for your info :)

I don't have Sacrificial Pact in my deck, I don't know if you could have confused it with Shadowburn, maybe? D:

Anyway, thanks a lot for that tips. Do you think I should just drop both Darkscale, or keep at least one? Same with Soul Fire. Sometimes I feel at least one could be nice in late, but having 2 many times is bad cause I stay with both in my hand (so I gotta discard one T_T). So I think I'll drop one Soul Fire, Darkscales maybe both, yeh. I'll drop one Drain Life and keep one too, I think (sometimes I find it useful).

    Thanks a lot! :)

posted a message on Warlock - Tips for Diamond

Hi there! I came here some days ago asking for some advice for building a Warlock Control deck. I followed the steps and at first that deck worked wonders but right now I'm stuck in Diamond 2 and I'm not able to win a single fucking game D:

    I use something like this:

    http://www.hearthpwn.com/deckbuilder/warlock#39:1;43:1;84:2;122:2;221:2;326:2;332:2;340:2;398:1;482:1;500:1;503:1;529:2;542:1;557:2;573:2;597:2;647:2;673:1;

I tend to see myself totally overwhelmed by hard rush with extra-summons (like Razorfen Hunters) and even if I have a hellfire they keep on summoning things and with a few removals they destroy everything I can bring to the battlefield. Hunters just pop some very low-cost basic cards and I can't manage all that shit, they use that "blood lust with charge" they got, and bye bye. Some spell-power decks crush me too, in the main part mages that just sheep, cc and nuke my poor Gul'dan. Don't have to say anything about Anduin, I find playing vs priest totally obnoxious if they have a good deck.

I know sometimes I make mistakes, but many others I just stay thinking "So, wtf am I supposed to do here, because there's absolutelly nothing I can/could do to stop that". Am I just really unlucky when drawing? (cause I think so, I find myself many times with Ragnaros, Jaraxxus and Twisting Nether by turn 5-6, but I'd want to keep that cards on my deck Y____Y). I usually play for the late game, using spells and healing minions to survive and then I try to drop Jaraxxus when I "know" they don't have an easy way to nuke me right after. But some times I don't even get to that point, so I don't know what to do. As said, I feel like I don't have much field presence. I think Hogger is perfect for that, but don't know why I always get him by turn 9+ when it's a bit too late.

    - Anyway, do you see any easy improvements to that deck? Should I just change completely the style if I wanna win something here in Diamond?

    - By turn 9, if you got Jaraxxus, Ragnaros and Twisting Nether, which is the order you would use them in different scenarios? If you can explain a bit, cause sometimes I just don't know what to pop first (I know it would be totally diferent if enemy has minions or not in field and that stuff, but if you can tell me some experiences I'd appreciate it).

Thanks a lot and sorry for my English :)

posted a message on Do you really like "gold" cards?

Hi there! Just a peaceful discussion about that. What's your opinion about gold cards?

I'm a bit upset with them, I mean... I can understand gold cards can fit very well with some heroes' decks, such as paladin, priest, [insert the guy you want]... but in some cases I think they look awful / out of place. That's my case, cause I main warlock, and really... seeing that bling bling gold in a demon card, IN MY OPINION, looks terrible. Is it just me? It's a pity cause I love the animations, but come on, that golden look matches really bad with warlock... something like platinum or metallic purple/blue would feel much better, I think.

What's your opinion? I know this is not going anywhere, just curiosity :3

Sorry for my terrible English and have a nice day! :D

Hahaha, yeah! That can happen! :P

Meh, I'm in front of my screen clicking on both cards and can't decide... now a quite good HS streamer here in my country told a friend that he was going for Ysera in his Warlock control deck, so now I'm changing again to Ysera, and the fact that I enjoy her playstyle more. Anyway, I'll get both sooner or later, so I won't worry xD

Thank you all for your patience :)

Both Frostwolf Grunt and Farseer seem really random minions to have in this deck, in my opinion, also having Voodoo just for a 2 hp heal doesn't seem that great for me..

As for spells, if you are running Jaraxxus then you might want to run twisting nether, and besides the Power Overwhelming + demonfire combo, you don't have anything great to demonfire(besides jarx infernals also)

Yes, that deck was the one I was using before and knew it wasn't good, so I came here to ask for tips :3

Oh, and btw, the Farseer isn't the windfury one, is the Farseer with a +3 heal battlecry (I got a bit confused too when they suggested that minion, then I realized it was that one, which really fits with the life tap drawing style of the deck :3). Grunt was the first I replaced, yep :P

So, I think I'll get Alexstrasza and Twisting Nether, and for now I'll give that some tries :)

Thanks a lot for your help, mates! See ya ^^

Edit: Ah, and Alex is 9-mana, so no Alex + Infernal drop :(

Thanks a lot for all that information! I'm really average player, so I'm sitting at platinum II (if I remember well), but I've made important additions to the deck after my last ranked game, so I'll have to go and see what happens now. I'm yet to add, as said, one of that legendaries. But I'm not really sure after your explanation about which one should I choose.

As said, the one I like (in "enjoyment terms") the most is Ysera, and when I've faced her I've thought she's quite tough, and some dream-cards are really good. But Ysera doesn't have much damage herself as a finisher minion. I like Deathwing too, but I think that 10 cost can hurt many times, and if they have some hidden removal it can be too bad for me. I think Ragnaros can be strong and fun too, but I tend not to like randomness, cause I get really frustrated when things don't work "as intended" ("Ooooh, got you there... but no!", sad panda face). And Alexstrasza, I don't find her very funny to play, but as you said, she's probably the safest and could be the all around best one in more situations. Things would be between Ysera or Alex.

But I'll probably have to go for Alexstrasza if I want improvements and I'll have time to check the others in a future!

    Clicking on crafting in 3, 2, 1....... D:

OK then. My question now is, I can disenchant Velen (priest legendary, cause I just hate the priest thematic and won't play him) and get above 1600 dust, so I can craft one legendary.

Which one would you choose in my deck? I personally love Ysera, and I find her quite funny with that dream-cards, so I think she's a really good finisher summon. But maybe Alexstrasza is better. I'm thinking in a scenario where I place Jaraxxus, I could get some hits in that "lost turn", so maybe Alexstrasza can be a heal back or drop enemy to 15. Thing is then I don't have a taunt/removal after that, so I am open to eat shit again next turn (that could happen with both Alex and Ysera). The other option is Deathwing, for a nice removal and fat minion... if you know they don't have more removals I think it tends to be gg. I can use it before/after Jaraxxus as well. And my last option is Ragnaros, which is a 8 mana so I can drop him with a infernal after summoning Jaraxxus. I like Ragnaros cause even if silenced is a motherfucking 8/8, which is nice, and with not silences it can be a pain in the ass.

So, could I get some opinions?

    - Deathwing

    - Ragnaros

    - Ysera

    - Alexstrasza

I'll have to get some low cost legens later, like Hogger/Black Knight, but as said I think that for now I prefer a late game big monster.

Thanks a lot for your time ^^
