It's unlikely to be very effective against an early Tip the Scales. You'll leave the beefier, more resilient Murlocs like Circus Amalgam and Murgur up, and the back half of rushers like Fishy Flyer will simply come straight back at you.
If the power level of high-cost cards were increased, ramp and tutor options would need to be tuned down. Ramp Paladin is running 5 10-mana cards plus 2 Carnival Clowns. I was playing a reasonable Spell Druid last week with Ysera, Unleashed, Mountsellers and Overflows. Paladin and Warrior can both easily play and cheat out high-cost, high-stat cards.
You didn't buy a product, just a licence to open some digital packs, use the contents, and change a few in-game cosmetics in a free-to-play mobile game. All at Blizzard's discretion. The model sucks, especially in cases where the money is pocketed by shareholders rather than plowed back into the game, but it is what it is.
How much dust would we have got if the entire Classic set was HoFed? Perhaps that should be the benchmark for a rework 🤔 I'm not too worried. Whatever happens, I'm sure we'll get the same or more ;)
Reckon we should get more than full dust when disenchanting a nerfed card to acknowledge that other cards were very likely crafted to support it. Also, currently, if you don't disenchant, you simply end up with a worse card. Players shouldn't lose out because of poorly balanced cards or the dev team's future plans. How about 2,400 dust for disenchanting a nerfed legendary or 800 dust if you keep the new, inferior version? 600 / 200 dust for epics. This doesn't seem like too much to ask. With the current system, balance changes make the game more expensive. Balance updates are good for the game - it's the economy that sucks.
So, after a month I'm on Level 34 and have accumulated 1625 gold (having saved everything since MDF's launch). It's about 500g less than previously (while playing slightly more than normal), but I should be ahead after Tuesday's patch and rewards update. Track fixed?
On level 34 you have earned 2250 Gold, not 1625 (where's that 25 comin from anyway?).
The rewards track and MDF expansion launched a week apart, so I doubt many players started the new expansion on level 1. I certainly didn't.
In the past, I've accumulated 8,000+ gold over the four months between expansions by completing my dailies and getting a few wins. It looks like I'll be in a similar or slightly better position next year after than latest changes from Blizzard.

I'm currently at Level 25 and need 3,450 XP for the 150g that comes with reaching Level 26. This represents almost 4 daily quests' XP. In the old system it would've taken fewer than 3 dailies to net the same gold.
While the new system has its flaws, this kind of manipulation is simply ridiculous.
You pretend that weekly quests don't exist. We are talking about 6500 weakly XP, aka ~900 XP per day. That means you are simply ignoring nearly a half of daily XP gain from quests. That means that 3450 XP takes two days (min daily XP is 800XP(min daily quest)+900XP (1/7th of weekly quests) And don't say me that doing weekly quests is too hard. It is no harder than doing all dailies.
I'm just comparing like for like. Will I get the same if I do the same? I agree that many of the weeklies are easy to finish, but they are additional.
Well, my friend, do I EVER have news for you. But you have to sit down before reading any further. It's for your own safety.
7 days from now, when you hit Level 27. Guess what you get???
An ASHES OF OUTLAND pack!!!
OMG the party you'll have if you live in a place without current COVID restrictions. Imagine how sad you'd have been if you were given, say, a Grand Tournament pack instead? That expansion SUCKED!
Personally I do live in a place where I'm not allowed to have parties, so I had to open my Outland pack in solitude. The 40 dust was a nice consolation prize though.
Enjoy dude, seriously. So awesome.
We're in a partial lockdown until January. The upside is I won't have to share that handsome AoO pack with anyone. It's the little things that make life worth it.

Or even better: an in-game deck tracker 🙏

Any chance we'll ever get a deck tracker for Android? Would definitely help with play on mobile and Chromebook!

I got one for Battlegrounds 🙈
Are they chained (i.e. complete the first to get the second)?

Same issue on my Chromebook. Working on my mobile (Android).

Eh? Just make it a one-time thing during the 2-week window.

(1) Cards don't exist in isolation and (2) players shouldn't be punished for keeping a card.
