I have read that for the new Rewards Track update, Blizzard will grant everyone a one time bonus of 5 Darkmoon packs and 500 gold. I have also read elsewhere before Blizzard announced the changes last week that they will be retroactively granting bonus xp to compensate for the changes and that will put players further on the track upon sign in. Is this true? Can anyone confirm this?
So, after a month I'm on Level 34 and have accumulated 1625 gold (having saved everything since MDF's launch). It's about 500g less than previously (while playing slightly more than normal), but I should be ahead after Tuesday's patch and rewards update. Track fixed?

On level 34 you have earned 2250 Gold, not 1625 (where's that 25 comin from anyway?).

The rewards track and MDF expansion launched a week apart, so I doubt many players started the new expansion on level 1. I certainly didn't.
In the past, I've accumulated 8,000+ gold over the four months between expansions by completing my dailies and getting a few wins. It looks like I'll be in a similar or slightly better position next year after than latest changes from Blizzard.
