You might try switching one Starfall for Mulch. When I was climbing it was necessary to run double Starfall as amount of Odd Paladins was ridiculously high. Mulch is certainly better vs Big Priest so if you encounter this deck a lot you can inlcued Mulch in your list.

@Domico69 in comments below, switched some cards for 2 Mulches and BGH and he had great success with it on ladder.

Hmmm. This deck is certainly not for everyone as it requires a lot of decision making. I recommend you playing Big Priest as it's much easier to play.

If you'd want to replace her I wouldn't look for a direct replacement - but still I think that she is too strong and it would be much harder to reach Legend. Aya won for me some games when my opponent used Skulking Geist, she is really good in mirrors and also grows your Jades by 2 what is really important in Big Priest matchup.

Can someone please just tell me how you deal with big priest? How is statue not good? it literally kills your 30-30 jade, no sweat. They have like 8 or 10 revival options by now. It's just driving me insane. I'm just trying to enjoy a game of interaction with the board. But interaction in hearthstone in 2019 seems exceptionally rare.

Statue isn’t good because it doesn’t apply any pressure. Games with Big Priest usually are grindy and key to win them are well timed Poison Seeds and Naturalizes. Thing that you need to keep in mind is that Big Priest resources are limited. If your Jades are above 10/10 you’ve probably won.

Big Priests play Vargoth and version with it it's too OP. Today I was trying to climb to top spots on Legend with Renomage (wanted to make a deck that just beats Big Priest thanks to Polymorphs) and I often played against players on spots 1-10 and everyone of them was using Big Priest. Vargoth alows Big Priest to create large boards even without spellstone and often wins game on the spot (unless you are playing Druid with Poison Seeds) after spellstone into Vargoth spellstone. Even if Barnes is going to be nerfed this deck is too crazy. I might risk a statement that Big Priest is currently best deck on wild ladder. What's frustrating that often you don't get to do much as many classes don't get an option for cheap and easily available unconditional boardwipe. They need to nerf Big Priest or print 5 mana Twisting Nether.

Annoyment level of Big Priest 8-9

Even winning with this deck isn't fun. They should print super hard counter to this deck like they printed Skulking Geist to counter Jades.

Something that exiles a weapon wouldn't also be that bad.

In deck with 5 minions running Floop is really bad idea. And Floop has antysynergy with Oaken Summons.

I decided to swap Shadow Bolt for Plot Twist for now. Since I don't have Betrug myself I wasn't even trying it out but it seems like a good oportunity for Renolock for massive tempo swing in mid game which can help winning some hard matchups. I was rather thinking about Betrug in Cubelock (version with Sense Demons and Sacrificial Pact) as it can easily cheat out Doomguards. I was also playing a bit with Cubelock on high legend but it has mediocore matchup vs Jades and I got frustrated after getting my board double Psychic Screamed followed with fully uprgraded spellstone into Vargoth.

As I am not spending any money on Hearthstone I have limited resources so I am waiting for some "richer" players to experiment a bit and tell me what is worth crafting.

It’s better vs aggro decks because of its higher attack and health. Kills of many 3 health minions - included in guide above and also lets you finish of 4 health minions with hero power/swipe/wrath. Moreover 3 attack means that you can kill a Mountain Giant with Starfall. Dirty Rat is good but I haven’t encountered many Exodia decks and Mechathun on high legend (currently top 30 with this list).

This card is obviously really good in Renolock but I'm wondering what to cut from the deck to make room for this card.

posted a message on Which one is easier - wild or standard?

Since I reached Wild Legend for the first time I manage to get Legend (18th EU) in Wild every month not struggling much (doesn't matter if it's begining or the end of the season). So first of all Wild Ladder is not that hard. Usually I picked the deck I like at the begining of the month and played it till Legend to master different kind of decks (Tier 1/2). I stopped playing Standard for half a year and when I came back I had much more difficulties climbing from 10 to 5 in Standard rather then in Wild to Legend (maybe it's beacuse I don't know the meta well or maybe I'm just bad at this game). Still I never managed to reach Legend in Standard - one of the issues is Standard being dust heavy. I know it sounds weird for many but in Wild I have all Tier 1 decks and a couple of Tier 2 decks (T2 usually on budget-mode without Legendaries I would not use much). I can have all these decks because "good" cards remain good for a long time - in Standard it shifts constantly. And I don't play that much - 3500 games won, played since Old Gods so I had to craft all the staples like Mal'ganis or Loatheb.

And I have to agree that if we talk about Legend Standard is much harder. All the good players are focused on Standard. We need to wait a couple of years till Wild will get some interest from larger community.

So this version of Renolock is kinda weak considering current metagame in Wild. It's probably good enough to get to rank 5 but not any higher then that. The reason why is Leeroy combo which is very poor choice against current metadecks. Moreover it doesn't help you win any particular matchup. Decks you need to beat on Wild Ladder are Even Shaman, Maly/Togwaggle Druid, Odd Rogue and different kinds of Aggro Pally. While this decklist doesn't lack of any AoE removal - which helps contesting with aggro decks, it seems to be unfavorable against Druids. Including tech cards like Skulking Geist, Dirty Rat or Deathlord is crucial to beat Druid which is simply unbeatable without them. But with them we almost get free wins against any kind of Druid.

It's probably a cool deck to remind older Renolock that used to be played in Standard but nothing more.

+1 anyway - brings back so many memories

But using over and over again the same cards will become boring after 5 years or more. Yes they are "Basic" but giving a class access to the same cards every year might feel like that gameplay doesn't change. And also I pointed out that I want to rotate out Basic/Classic set but I want to inculde some older cards in it at the beginning of the new year and include some brand new cards. My idea is to make Basic and Classic set into one. You get it for free at the start of the game. I don't know if you play MTG but I want to make it in shape of MTG Core Sets. Set which includes some reprints but also new cards.

posted a message on Suggestions to make Hearthstone a little better

After a couple of years of playing Hearthstone I've figured out that game needs to be more rewarding for the players. I don't play this game 24/7 but I managed to get a decent card collection so it's possible for me to craft 2-3 meta decks at the beginning of the new expansion. If only I stopped playing HS for a 1-2 months I would have fallen behind and I would need to grind. Considering that I don't play Arena I don't have a lot of gold (usually around 7k at the release of the new set). Isn't Conctructed the main Play Mode in HS? For me it is. So why we get only 500 dust at the end of the month? And why we only get dust from one format. I play both Wild and Standard (more focused on Wild) reaching Legend in Wild and around Rank 5 in Standard. It seems not to be rewarding at all for players who are simply good at the game but who don't want to grind every month. I don't know if any of HS Devs would ever see my post - but for me it's a good idea to increase rewards for playing Constructed (more Dust or maybe packs). Let's not forget that after long time of playing the game Dust becomes real HS currency.

Another issue that needs to be fixed is Classic Set and Basic Set. What's wrong with it? All these cards available for everyone make Standard boring and make gameplay feel a little bit stale. Nourish, Wild Growth, Shadow Word: Pain and so on. So what to do? I think that the best sollution is to make cards from Basic Set Rotate every year. Every class has ten cards available for reaching lvl 20 on given hero. Current Basic cards rotate out - players get dust refund (considering that every card is a common it's not a lot of dust, so it's not a big problem). New cards come in, maybe some older cards become part of Basic set (which needs to include more cards (why? - read the next step). Then we remove such thing as Classic Set (can you imagine playing Magic: the Gathering for 25 Years with cards from Alpha?), make packs from the current sets rewards from Tavern Brawls and everyone will be happy. New players will have big card pool at the begining - they still will need to aquire cards from the new sets - but they will not need to waste gold on Classic packs.

What do you think about my ideas and solutions?

posted a message on UNTOUCHED BY NERFS 60% WIN RATIO WARLOCK

Actually considering wild 60% isn't that high. Best build of Aggro Paladin has close to 70% WR, Even Shaman 67%. But I love playing with this list of Renolock. It's so much more fun than playing on and on with Cubelock.
