You have no clue how broken that card is. Cabalist's Tome costs 5 and is RANDOM spells. "Spells from your opponent" are indefinitely better because you won't ever get shitty spells. You get a secret on top and all for ONE mana less. The second versions is more balanced, but I think the card isn't any fun to play against.
After what you said I thought of ways to make the card more balanced and fair, so I changed it to the following. Hopefully this is a bit more balanced.

ThisOtherGuyTox posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 5.16 - Discussion TopicPosted in: Fan CreationsThere has to be something in between. This is way underpowered.Discovering a card from your opponents deck and throwing it into your deck is essentially worthless. The reason Entomb worked, was because it already was a pretty good card. But because you could ALWAYS choose minion you wanted to entomb.Since your deck consist of cards that syngerises with each other, you're in most cases actually gonna worsen your decks card quality. This card is hard to balance. I give Zukuu that. I would think that a card like Thoughtsteal could help you balance it. It has the same effect as your first card, but costs one less, but dosen't give you a secret. Why not make it something like: "Discover a card in your opponents deck, it cost 2 less". And make it 3 mana to prevent it to be better than Primordial Glyph -

Is the stiched function new? Didn't see it when I was working on stuff not too long ago.
It has been there for quite some time now, but a lot of people just haven't really discovered the function yet. When we(mods) discovered the function a while ago we actually thought it would be a really cool theme for a WCDC.. but then we forgot about it for a while and none of the WCDC winners suggested that theme either. But here it finally is! :D -

That Medivh one. Just perfect.

Hadrid Blackthorn offers Warlock an AoE that doesn't harm them also. He offers a great solution to a big board full of aggressive minions, while as stated before, not harming you in the process, which will be helpful with Reno gone.

Why is everyone posting cards here? This isn't the submission thread...

I find many of the cards you changed are now too powerful. The classic set isn't meant too powerful, some of these changes just won't fly. Some of the cards probably still wouldn't see play even with the changes, just because there are better cards from the newer sets.

I was wondering the same thing.

Not sure about you, but this is the most I've enjoyed WoW in a while. Plus Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch are a blast to play, Hearthstone isn't all that terrible either.

I decided to play my secret mage in Ranked for the fun of it. I end up beating a pirate warrior and he then complains to me that I don't know how to build decks and should be playing what's good right now. It was good entertainment I admit, saying the secret mage isn't even that good in ranked.

So a while back I kept the promise of doing this every time a new set of cards is released. I took a little bit longer since I quit for a bit, but now here it is. So the way this works is I give you the top 10 most used neutral legendaries for the current standard format based on Hearthpwn deck statistics.
Top 10 Most Used Legendaries-
That's not all, as a fun bonus I give you the least used legendaries too, but only 5. The list never really changes...
And that's it, feel free to comment what you think of the positions. I should make a reminder that this is not an accurate depiction on how many people play the cards, rather how many different decks include the cards. If it was so cards would be a bit higher due to the ludicrous amount of netdecking. Anyways have a good time! Data recorded for 01/31/17.
Links to past lists. Whispers and One Night.

I do agree. As much as you want to win, sometimes it's worth playing something that won't always win just to have a good time, for me that's my secret mage. Trying something different makes your oponent's day a little brighter, even if it means you lose for it, which I'm fine with.
Kinda reminds me of the saying in my MTG group. "If you netdeck, you give us permission to punch you".
