Fun to watch and raising money for a good cause, this is the sort of extra content I want to see from Blizzard/Hearthstone. I enjoy watching the tournaments but I feel as if events like this are equally,if not more, entertaining to watch.
Basic discolock synergy that encourages you to be more liberal with your discards.
The best synergy is can think of is with Clutchmother Zavas, as it generates a 1/1 copy as well as the original returning to your hand when it is discarded!
So i was playing against this quest rogue a few times and i got weirded outby something...
i ll put kripperinos video here as a reference https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXBY8E4TbUI&t=0, so at minute 12 the rogue plays moroes for the first time, how does that count in the quest completion? and again on minute 18:30 he plays his first swashburglar and counts on the quest completion..
I m F2P and i spend months preparing for expansions so i wait at least 2 weeks before i craft any cards, and dont really live the release hype learning about everything right away so if someone could explain this i d be glad...
Moroes is mainly for after the crystal core has been used, popping out 5/5s every turn is very strong, the 1/1s summoned don't count as the quest reads "play" meaning you have to play them from your hand. The quest doesn't take the first card you play as the only one you can use to complete it, you can play any minion 4 times to complete the quest.
That being said, I've seen someone complete the quest by getting Moroes from Mimic Pod, then using Shadowstep twice.
Just an example of how lethal this combo is with pretty much perfect draw. The enemy getting Shadowstep from Mimic Pod is equally nasty from my experiences.
I've been having more and more success against this deck, all thanks to Dirty Rat. The moment they bounce a card I play it, and about 75% of the time I get the card they are trying to combo with. Sometimes they concede, sometimes they have more combo pieces in hand anyway and still trigger the quest conditions, but so far it is the best counter that works consistently for me.
I don't think the main issue is the quest itself, personally my greatest issue coming across this deck is the cheap charge minions that drop once the quest is complete.
Also this expansion was suppose to be an expansion. If you follow the format of previous years, the next set should have been an adventure. Blizzard have said that it will be another expansion, but it will feature some single player content.
Currently at rank 14, climbing slowly with Fire Plume's Heart and taunt warrior.
I haven't encountered a single pirate warrior, which is so far promising. The most common decks I've faced are Caverns Rouge, Time Mage and Elemental Shaman. So far I'm loving what I'm seeing of the "new meta" and I hope it stays this fresh as the meta stabilizes and the new cards find their place in standard.
Not sure what it is like at higher ranks but I'm looking forward to seeing what those ranks have in store.

A bit of a wordy entry this week, but one that I hope people understand and like the concept of the card.
As always, good luck to everyone taking part!

I love the idea of a hero having permanent attack, and think that cards that use that ability are fun to work with!
Good luck to everyone taking part this week!

But you can't lose stars at rank 20 anyway!

I would, he is very viable in a lot of decks, not just aggro.
He combos well with Rogue thanks to Swashburglar, but any class could use him thanks to Bloodsail Corsair.

It counts the first minion you play as you intending to go from 1 to 4 with that minion, so it tags it as 1.
If you play Swashburglar once, but then play Wisp twice on the next turn, the counter would go from Swashburglar 1/4 to Wisp 2/4.
The quest merely counts the minion you have played the most at that moment in time.

"Your faith in the Light has rewarded you!"
Mildly under-statted if played without the effect, but good if you can pull it off and have the resources to keep him alive.
Also works with Getaway Kodo or handbuff.
As always, good luck to everyone taking part! There are some really good ones this week!!

Southsea x2 + Stonetusk x2 = 20 damage for 4 mana.
Obviously the deck requires decent draw power, but that isn't exactly something rogue struggles with is it?

That's not one word.....

Out of interest: do we know if casting smugglers run count towards this, or is it solely spells cast on minions on the board?
