posted a message on Unholy Aggro DK [Top 50 Legend!]

I've played a more midrangey, but still agressive version, and can safely say that UUU dk lives and dies by Hawkstrider, period. You either have it on turn 3 or 2 with coin or you lost already. The DH matchup is a lost cause EVEN if you coin Hawkstrider on 2, just concede once its clear its DH and not Thief Rogue. If you still want to play this tier 4 deck that is.

posted a message on 25.0.3 Patch Notes - Balance Changes For Constructed & Sire Denathrius Obtainability Change

DK is bad rn cuz Renathal makes everyone afraid of playing aggressive, so the only dk deck people are playing is 3B, which gets demolished by ramp druid, as all control decks do. It has nothing to do with it not having enough mana cheating, the meta just doesnt favor it rn. If there was an aggro tyrant going around, 3B DK would be tier 1 easily.

Sad to see Patron DK dying so soon, it was the only good thing going for the class as a whole and it was an unintentional interaction, feelsbadman. DK needs a big round of buffs, as Daddy D being gutted just puts the whole class further in the dumpster.

Thanks! Think it will be fun. Hard to say how competitive it will be with so much hand disruption in the game, but it seems like a good enough template for now.

posted a message on New Mage Common Card Revealed - Magister's Apprentice

Made a Bonelord Arcane Bolt OTK list in like 2 min, seems strong and easy to build.

With Bonelord effect on, play new legendary for free, guild trader and 1 apprentice = every Arcane Bolt deals 10 dmg on turn 8. Only 4 arcane bolts needed to otk a Renathal deck from 40, lots of burst to spare.

Its very weak to disruption though. Any silence on Bonelord also cripples it immensely, so while it does have potential, its not tier 0 broken by any means.

posted a message on Big Zombies (DK 3B deck)

Going 3B was the right call, but Denathrius is kinda meh here imo, unholy is a million times better for a Daddy D list. I think Jailer is a better option, for real! Tons of extra health with Vampiric Blood, Muncher giving a ton of lifesteal every turn, Morgraine putting another timer on the opponent etc, I think it fits.

posted a message on ALL THE RUNES! Ultimate Death Knight Theorycraft

Have any theorycrafted lists cooking in the oven? Share it here and lets stitch together (had to do it sry) the best day 1 DK deck! Heres my list:

    Midrange Unholy/Frost DK
Export to BBCode Export to Cockatrice Export to MarkDown Export to Html Clone this deck
    Minion (24) Ability (6)
    Loading Collection

Not sure if UUB or UUF will come out on top, but both seem to be the best Denathrius enablers, meaning one of them will be tier 1 or 2 imo. Would love to see some Blood Rune ideas though!

posted a message on (Theorycraft) Big Zombie midrange (DK FBB deck)

The only point I see in going BB is for handbuff shenanigans, thats what Saurfang is for imo. If you want to just play control, BBB is way better as it gives you a valid wincon in Vampiric Blood/Morgraine (should be great at the attriction game).

UUB is the way to go for your idea imo, you just cant pass up on Stitched Giant and The Scourge. Denathrius will remain the undisputed late-game finisher so UU seems like a better direction.

posted a message on Infuse will be bad for this reason...

Infuse is Team 5 doubling down on making sure the board matters for the next two years. Honestly id rather have them being extra safe than risk having another UiS on our hands, would quit the game on the spot in that case.

I'm not sure how I feel about this expansion. I had fun, now not so much. Sire Denathrius and Celestial Alignment being the biggest offenders.

The rest I can deal with and accept. Sadly to few classes, as always are not really present and thats a shame. Overall it could be better.

Hopefully some balance changes will shake things up.

I would love to see Sire Denathrius being killed and forgotten. What a shitty card.

I’m more ok with denathrius than celestial alignment. It’s like a quest reward that only requires the ramp class to ramp and you get two copies in your deck. It plays as an “I win” card with little counter play or downside. It has been a card that is not healthy in any way for the game, when celestial alignment is good, hearthstone isn’t.

Celestial Alignment only creeps back into the meta when it gets too greedy, a necessary evil imo. The game needs these kinds of safety switches, most people dont like playing back to back 15+ min control mirrors either, just ask CW..

Mage, Shaman, Warlock, Druid and Hunter are in an amazing spot, theres a lot you can do with these classes, ive been experimenting a lot and so far ive found that many different lists are viable within each class.

Rogue, DH, Warrior and Paladin are dogshit.

The abyss between the good and bad classes is the biggest ive seen in a long while, kinda fitting since the expansion theme is rich people exploiting the poor lol.

Rogue and DH were kicked out of the game by Vile Library. Once it gets nerfed (by far the most troublesome card of the set) those classes will be back, easy to do.

Warrior and Paladin are lost causes. No amount of buffs will make ppl play Paladin, the class is a complete snoozefest, desperately need new strategies to spice things up but didnt get any, still playing curvestone like its 2015, SO FUCKIN BORING.

Enrage Warrior needs Battle Rage back. Control Warrior needs all its nerfs reversed, wont happen either. Warrior wont be a class until miniset, maybe not even then.

PS: forgot about Priest haha. Its in the shitlist too, the class cant deal with Ping Mage and Ramp Druid being good at the same time, another lost cause.

posted a message on Anima Extracor is OP

It has amazing potential, but not enough support in standard to rly shine. Warrior will have to pray Renathal decks are not prevalent next month,  cuz a combo list with this, the 2 mana charge and Wild Pyromancer is the only thing going for warrior in this expansion.

Will try to make it work, but things are looking grim.

posted a message on Are you excited for the expansion?

This expansion will have more disruption available than any other, VERY excited for that. We might actually see something close to an anti-meta deck being decent for real (one can dream right?).

posted a message on Top 5 Strongest Cards of Castle Nathria + Your personal Picks

Kael'thas Sinstrider is gonna be everywhere, easy 5/5. If you're not planning on ending the game by turn 7 and have flexible slots, you will want to include it, Brann and a 8+ battlecry to possibly finish the game by turn 9 (if you havent included them already ofc).

Kaelthas + Brann + Alex is 16 dmg from hand for 9 mana and all neutral. Mage and DH have even better options than Alex. Dont think anyone will pass up on that if the deck allows it.

Rejoice OP, Impending Catastrophy will make warlock great again, not kidding. The class was bad cuz it had no good draw engine, and this is among the best draw engines in the game, SO PUSHED.

All warlocks will at least run a 5/6 card imp package just to abuse this card, its that good.
