I have been very unimpressed with Unholy Death Knights... Until I joined the Hawkstride Ranch. Don't sleep on Hawkstrider Rancher!
IF YOU ENJOY THESE DECKS, POSTS, AND VIDEOS, PLEASE CONSIDER GIVING THIS DECK A THUMBS UP TO HELP ME OUT!!! THANK YOU!

Gameplan:
Generate a board of minions to buff. This is done by playing for tempo, or by playing a bunch of little minions in combination with Hawkstrider Rancher. If you have the coin, playing Rancher on T2 is the most powerful tool for this deck. Not a lot of decks can deal with a T2 2/5, and if it survives, you can play all your minions from hand, and you'll never lose the board.
Once you have a healthy board, make it stick with Anti-Magic Shell or kill them with Grave Strength.
This deck is the fastest DK out there, so you will win quickly, but also lose quickly.
Mulligan:
ALWAYS KEEP: Irondeep Trogg, Body Bagger, Battlefield Necromancer, Hawkstrider Rancher (esp with coin)
SOMETIMES KEEP: Foul Egg (with Skeletal Sidekick or Arms Dealer), Bonedigger Geist (with Body Bagger)
Thank you for this deck. I was very slow with FROST Death Knight. But on this deck I took legend in two days.
I've played a more midrangey, but still agressive version, and can safely say that UUU dk lives and dies by Hawkstrider, period. You either have it on turn 3 or 2 with coin or you lost already. The DH matchup is a lost cause EVEN if you coin Hawkstrider on 2, just concede once its clear its DH and not Thief Rogue. If you still want to play this tier 4 deck that is.
ITs a nice deck sadly people know how to play around it now that is popular. Aggre decks with "combo factor" usually dont last long unless you are really good with them.
What a terrible deck. 0-4 currently and havent even come close to winning a game. Not even with perfect mulligan in to 1-3 hawkstrider curve. And good to note that im currently bronze 10 and still unable to win, while i have reached legend in the past and always been at D5+. Other decks simply outstat this deck at turn 4 or 5 with 3x the stats. No idea how anybody reached top 50 legend with this...
Ok its not a completely terrible deck, but i guess my winrate is now around 50 or less after like 20+ games, which is pretty bad. You lose if enemies have early removal at turns 1-3. I alao switched one army of the dead to Lord Marrowgar and that helped a bit. But you kinda need enough corpses and Marrowgar on curve in order for him to be of actual value. Still, won a few games thanks to him. Would I recommend crafting this deck? No. Is it fun to play? Somewhat yes.
Decent deck. Hard mulligan for Hawkstrider is the way to go I think.
Lack of card draw - empty hand all game.
Fun in casual. not on D+
Useless after 10 games, 0 wins.
Cheap, but not effective at all in the meta
i played 25 games today on this deck in diamonnd and lost all of them, dunno if im just unlucky but i never had a single minion on board, never played any hawstrider my hand only consisted of minion buffs with 0 card draw, i dont think i even did 1 dmg to an enemy, sry but this deck is not playable in current meta
Really strong deck, can generate a lot of board pretty fast. Hawkstrider definitely the greatest tool to keep the board really sticky. Just made one change and that was kicking out one army of the dead for Lord Marrowgar. Guy on his own wins you half the games against non deathknights as most classes cant deal with multiple 5/5-9/9 rush bodies. Especially great as late game trader if you don't have a lot of board space and want some big dudes to trade for your other cards that can go face.
Great deck.
Started at Diamond 4 with it, after going 20-10 i hit legend.
Only lost to a Blood DK once, 3-4 times to Spit-hunter, some rogues, rarely ramp druid, and some Shamans.
The losses happen when you wiff on buff cards, and are stuck with a weak board, giving a control player time to counter you.
Or, as is often the case, a lack of corpses, if you happen to get a very corpse-heavy opening.
Overall, fantastic deck, highly recommended.
