KsBrute posted a message on Clutchmother ZavasPosted in: Clutchmother ZavasWhile i can understand why you would be a little put off by this card, have you considered a card long forgotten in Hearthstone: Spellbreaker? It practically sends this card in the garbage. And while it might seem a little bad to put in a counter for a single card; There are many cards in un'goro that are rendered from super OP to safe and useless. food for thought

OinarLeBonker posted a message on Shaku, the CollectorPosted in: Shaku, the CollectorIt is quite possible that this card alone can keep itself in play for 2 - 3 turns.
Example:
Turn 3 Shaku, The Collector.
Turn 4, attack with this minion, gain a minion buff, Divine Shield, Windfury, Taunt minion or something to kills off his minions and it might let you get one or two more ticks from this minion.
Think about on turn 4 attacking with Shaku, The Collector and gaining from him Blessing of Kings, i know it's a long shot but my point is there are so many things you can get from your opponents class to defend this minion, who knows, maybe this little fellow might be able to secure himself and give you even more value.
Yes i've considered that the value you get to secure him is used on the following turn so you won't be keeping it, but it might pressure your opponent and might make your opponent panic and finish it off with some insane tactics.

Don't you know?
the way blizzard decides what to put in an expansion is they have a dartboard with factions and concepts on it. They throw darts and wherever they land they add that concept to the game. Sontherfore its pure rng, just like the rest of hearthstone!!

No counterplay can be a bad thing. Imagine bearthstone with no hard removal. Then a card like deathwing would have no counterplay, and therefore you couldn't really do anything about. When there is a card that you can play that is impossible to counter, like this or the warlock quest card, then it begins to downgrade the quality of this game.

This isn't quite the place for this sort of argument but gwent is actually a stratergy game. Its sort of like hearthstone was when kt was created; a fun, stratergy based game where there are different, creative deck lists for every class. No class or faction is forced into playing one deck or archtype. Gwent is a game of bluffing, trying to make your oponent overachieve so that they have less cards than you and you have better odds to win more of the rounds. Meanwhile hearthstone at the moment consists kf drawing a good starting hand and winning, drawing reno and winning, drawing you combo an winning. If you try to play any sort of fun, creative or innovative deck, it gets destroyed by the agro and reno meta. Gwent is alot like hearthstone, just without the meta dominating decks that have been ther through every ecoansion; freeze mage, undertaker hunter, oil rogue, all the way to pirate rogue. Gwent may have meta defining decks in future, but for now its just a fun game to play with friends or online.
also, i didn't come here to say that gwent was better than hearthstone. Its too early to determine that.
i just came to suggest a way to change this card in the hopes that discolock doesn't rule the meta in the year of the mammoth.

True point. I was basing my idea of ciri dash in gwent where the end goal involves getting your massive ciri dash at the end. I guese it wouldn't work with discolock as it is more of an agro rush deck designed to kill your oponent with your high stats discard cards before you get killed.

But no conceal

Not evrybody watches streamers. For a lot of people the only source of card reveals is hearthpwn.
thanks for the info though

If fist returned to your hand, it would be op as you could infinitelt discard it for more damage.
however, one way to make fist vaguely reasonable. Maybe if you got to choose where it lands?

I was following some of my favourite cards to wild anyway. Disco lock might be more fun there.

Don't forget. This is not golden monkey levels of good.
Golden monkey was a way to dump the whirlwinds, card draws, ect out of yoir hand once you reached fatigue and they became useless. However, this does not do the same job. This will only do the cards in your deck, so your junk in hand is left as is. And, if you are in fatigue, this is 2 mana do nothing. Also with elise you get elise as a minion, the map cycles itself and the monkey is a strong taunt. This is just a 2 mana replace your deck.
on the other hand though... It will be nice to go yogging again. All thise lovely useful cards left in the deck...

Waiting for that person who gets elise out of their pack, then gets elise out of the new pack and just never runs out of cards
