Wouldn't call it a 'hotfix'. It is change in mechanics that we had since the beginning and should be announced in game

Pacific_Onion posted a message on Players Receiving Scholomance Academy Packs From The Season Chest Was UnintendedPosted in: NewsWhen I first saw I got Scholomance packs, I was impressed, I thought it was a great change. It was odd it wasn't announced. I hope they keep this for the future as it makes season 4 of an expansion more bearable to grind. Each expansion is still a seasonal reward for 4 seasons going forward, but now it front-loads a seasons worth of packs for the player to open on day 1.
It's definitely worth having the new packs, but they are also giving the player seasonal rewards they can't open. They did this with Tavern Brawls. The natural urge is to be able to open the pack immediately, especially if the player has a low collection and wants cards to open up access to the game. If this is to continue the expansions should be released earlier in the month to reduce the wait time. We haven't had a late month release since WotOG, which would have meant 26! days before you can open your seasonal reward packs. The latest we have gotten in more recent HS times is the 2nd week of the month, which isn't too late. If this was truly a pure accident, we really lucked out with only having to wait 6 days to open packs with SA. Only 2 other expansions have released earlier than the 6th in their respective months.

Kedalin posted a message on Scholomance Academy Wild CombosPosted in: NewsBased on the Paladin/Priest reveal for High Abbess Alura, which used a Grave Rune on Alura, I expect that it would go like this:
Summon Speaker Gidra. You have a 1/4 with Spellburst. Cast Greater Sapphire Spellstone. You have one 8/12 without Spellburst and three 1/4 with Spellburst. The next spell you cast will activate the Spellburst of the 1/4 copies.

This thread really annoys me. People get mad cuz a combo actually works and is effective and so they get salty and say that the card*s should be nerfed without any thought about card balancing. If your salty go to the salt thread pls.

Love combo decks because they take a lot of skill and every turn you have to think about what your about to do and what you'll do in 2-3-4 turns from now. You have to know when to use your combo pieces and when to save them. And when you finally pull of the combo the feeling is so satisfying.
Update: I also really love playing mill decks, too bad the archetype is pretty much dead in Standard rn. I'm really hoping blizzard adds more cards to make mill decks more viable.

I'm absolutely amazed by all the Upvotes!! Thank you all for the support. Starting on the descritption and such right now It should be done either today or tommorow. Of course this deck is a theorycraft so as I play this deck during Week 2 of Karzhan I will replace Cat Trick with Bear Trap.

What do you think about Kindly Grandmother as a replacment for Huge Toad. The card goes back to more of the days with a bunch of sticky minions plus has great synergy with Abusive Sergeant, Dire Wolf Alpha, Knife Juggler, Leokk, and Cult Master.

I'd disagree saying that Aggro takes no skill to play. All decks do take some skill to play but yes Control decks do take more skill. The real problem with HS is that it takes so much dust to actually make control decks that most players don't have so they have to settle for cheaper aggressive decks if they want to play standard. It's pretty fucked up but unless there becomes cheaper control options and better control options aggro decks will always dominate the Meta

I think Adding 1x Argent Squire could rlly help improve the games early game consistency. Maybe removing a huge Toad as your 2 drop slot is already pretty crowded
