Elementals are good by themself, so giving them more buff is going to be broken. But I can see something like "Discover an Elemental" or a quest like this "Play 5 Elemental. Reward : Get a crazy Elemental"
This card is just perfect for Reno Mage, unfortunately Reno Jackson is rotating out and I doubt Kazakus will be enough for control mage if they don't get better heal in standard.
I kinda agree it isn't good against aggro, but a 2/2 on turn 2 is better than heropower pass.
You're kind of missing the point. It's a good fatigue/value card, but a horrendeous tempo card. On top of that, a 10 mana 10/10 is unplayable even in control matchups most of the time. There are pretty few matchups that aren't about tempo nowadays.
I've never said it was a tempo card, or do you think Reno Mage is now tempo ?
10 mana 10/10 is not that unplayable in control matchup, because you bait a removal so your other threats are safer.

People act like it's always a 3/3 weapon, when most of time you hit with full value once or twice.
I think the card needed to be nerf, but not this way, because 2 mana face a lot of competition in shaman build. So keep Spirit Claw 1 mana, and give it only +1 atk when you have spellpower, this way it will still be playable at least.
Actually rank 7 with this deck with 66% winrate, so thanks for putting your list.
22-12 against other Shaman, which is the majority of ladder right now, so perfect choice to climb ranks imo. Though I have a negative winrate against Pirate Warrior, I crush Druid / Priest / Mage everyday.
My only advice is to keep at least one Hex against Dragon Warrior or Dragon Priest in case they have Deathwing. I already lose a game because I played a Brann Bronzebeard + Jade Chieftain combo, only to get the board whipped next turn and can not deal against a 12/12 dragon.
I had the same problem with Cabalist's Tome, since it's a good card against control matchup, but you will often have a full hand because you don't want to spend your ressources too much, and it's end up at a dead card most of time.
So right now I'm testing Ethereal Conjurer, which is doing not bad right now. Of course the body is pretty easy to remove, but on curve your opponent have to be reactive, and thus cannot play Azure Drake or Alley Armorsmith on the same turn, and I think it's pretty big because you become proactive, and that's what I like to do, specially against Warrior Control, however they gain too much of armor.
Depends on what I got from the packs, but I'm gonna play some Divine shield aggro Paladin, C'thun Druid and Midrange Shaman, the three look very promising.

Look like an 9 mana Ancient of War to me. Even if it get to 5/15, hard removal doesn't care. I prefer to play Soggoth the Slitherer than this.

People who thinks this card is bad haven't play any control deck in their life. You have a 2/2, a 6/6 and a 10/10 for 1 card.
In game, your opponent will have to use Arcane Blast, Fireball, Pyroblast to deal with only 1 card.

This card is just pure value, like Cabalist's Tome, you play 1 card and get 3.
Designed only for control mage, but Reno Jackson is rotating so I don't know how I feel about this.

Good choice here, nothing more frustrating than having to deal with this card. It will be fair if it only give stealth to 1 minion though.

Still need to play more with it though.

I did a few casual and ranked game today, and I faced almost 50% people who played The Black Knight, even shaman use this card now.
Does people tend to tech him more due to C'thun Druid and the overall popularity of taunt ? I wonder if he will stay a good choice in the futur.

What about Harvest Golem ? It seems nice instead of Spawn of N'Zoth since it's a sticky minion.

Or test both and see yourself.

I think Herald Volazj is the most interesting here, it has a lot of potential for combo, don't know which combo though.
