A few new cards seem over tuned and a few entire archetypes seem to be majorly lacking in tempo, draw, value or whatever the game plan would be (Dh relics, Warrior Enrage, etc.) Hopefully some minor balance changes and the mini set to come balance Standard out a bit more than it currently is
Hey friends, I just got back into HS after a lengthy break and wanted to know what quest I should craft with some dust I have. I've been playing a couple weeks, got some returning player packs and all so I've got a lot of supporting cards.
I already opened or crafted the DH, Rogue and Shaman quests, and I'm mostly considering the Hunter, Warlock, and Paladin quests, but I wanted to know what you guys would consider with more playtime and such.
Edit: But I think it fits more of a control style deck in the first place. The hero power it comes with is good on it's own (and doesn't need the Wildfire bonus damage) so you could just play cards like Fire Sale, Mass Polymorph, and Ice Barrier to constantly control the board and use Mordresh Fire Eye as a finisher. If you push really late game and find yourself with a spare Reckless Apprentice, you can get basically another board clear from it and upgrade your hero power again.
This would be decent if the meta was slow. But it's quite fast and only speeding up with this expansion. If you survive the heat of aggro, combo and big value decks will tear you apart in the end game.
Remove the Battlecry from Bom'bay, make the Start of Game effect a Battlecry.
Shabender: Battlecry: Reduce an enemy minion's attack by 2 this turn. If it reaches 0, take control of it.
"Fade" -> "Shroud": Twinspell. Give a friendly minion "Can't be targeted be spells or Hero Powers" until your next turn.
Censure: change "Whenever" to "After" and "Damages" to "attacks" to make the result "Give a minion "After a minion attacks this, Silence it, then cast Censure on it.

Interesting, I did like the Sidequest Druid back in the Galakrond days. Do you have the list he was playing? Was it Wild or Standard?

It's settled. Life Tap needs to be upped to 4 damage.

if Rune of the Archmage was an Arcane spell it might be good.

I haven't played enough games to post a win rate, if I see a lot of success with it, I'll gather and post some stats

If Raza didn't make much of an impact, I want my Patches to be back in Charge!

Replace Upgrade! with Corsair Cache next expansion.
I also replaced the Town Criers with Faceless Corruptors.

I would consider at least one copy of the 2/3 that reduces Librams' cost by (1) as well.

In the meantime, what do you think about my theory-craft?
I would replace both Battlemages with Spymistress
