I'll be honest. I have piloted this deck from rank 12 to 6 in a couple of days. When it's on it is really tough in this meta. Bloodclaw does work when things all fall in to place early, but it definitely becomes a dead draw late, especially in close games when you can't afford to give up that 5 health.
I like your Dread Corsair idea and I'm going to test it out and I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for an awesome deck!

JMS8888 posted a message on Pirate PalaidnPosted in: Pirate PalaidnBeen having lot of success with his deck in the new meta. Are you finding Bloodclaw is a dead draw at times?

Just found that Twin Slice and Altruis the Outcast are also candidates of nerf but it might be difficult to find the way of nerfing it.

Good idea. Thanks for suggestion.

Blistering Rot can hardly survive a turn without buffs at the same turn, and it's too slow to buff such a 3-cost minion for an aggro deck. Even Echoing Ooze seldom see play in buff decks, which means Blistering Rot is probably unworthy for this deck.

The win condition of an aggro deck is to damage your opponent's health to 0, which also works for this deck. But it's true that this deck doesn't have enough lethal damage after the rotation of Leeroy Jenkins though.

Seems like a new Power Word: Shield for priest in the next 2 years.

Can easily complete the quest with Soulbound Ashtongue.

Sadly Coffin Crasher just rotated out, otherwise this might make Deathrattle Priest avaliable in standard.

Lesser Emerald Spellstone won't be nerfed if this is printed in Rastakhan's Rumble.
