Have you tried any Renowock lists? ^^

I have one that you can check. All you need to do is hit Time Rewinder via Toshley for infinite Shudder/N'Zoth plays. Maybe you can put Krag'wa, the Frog for more consistent infinite Shudderwock plays. Since I don't have it, I can't tell whether it's important or not.

Isnt that too greedy most of the time?

It's not. Playing N'Zoth and Shudderwock once is enough. To be honest, Doppel/Zola/Grumble OTK shenanigans are the greediest ways to play Shudderwock, and are very slow. My deck isn't entirely depend on Toshley's Battlecry, which is return Shudderwock to hand infinitely, but to swarm the board at least twice.

Point proven) I will definitely try your version) I;ve been playing some varriations myself and they were kinda good so I think this will be good too. Shudderwock battlecry is just bonkers sometimes :D

Nope but I'd like to try out the C'Thun/Shudderwock/Reno Jackson version but I don't have Twin Emperor Vek'lor

Ive tried a similar one but with Omega Defender so Shudderwock will deal more than 6 damage from Cthun battlecry :D

In a good ol'days when people were dumb and they were playing Rat on turn 2,this is what I've managed to pull out trough RNG on turn 2. I'm pretty sure 4/12 Dragon creating insane value since trun 2 is pretty insane up to this day. xD

Talking from my experinece: Dont be focused on the game and just relax. Listen to some music or chat with someone. Also when you play it is good when someone is spectating you so you can laugh off terrible rng or be happy about a good play. There is a lot of things. One things for sure: If you are becoming tilted troughout the day, dont play. You wont become better nor you will win more.

posted a message on The Pepper Thread - Share your good vibes!

Havent posted here in a while. Today was a good day:

My fellow Reno Mage build vs Malchezaar BSM Mage-Im 5 card deeper into fatique. Make my classical value Brann+Kazakus+Manic Soulcaster combo but what is happening? My Opponent havent removed my Brann??? Immediate punish! I played Janalai next turn and coined out another Kazakus. Opponent was so busy removing my Ragnaroses he left Brann utouched so I could make another 2 Kazakus potions. So overall in this game: My Reno was Dirty Rated, his Malchezaar legendaries were nutty: (Like Malacrass,Rhonin,Tinkmaster etc), he drew trou8gh whole his deck naturally without any card draw and with my help. From my side there were 6 Kazakus Potions,5 Ragnaroses(from Brann, original Ragnaros and ressurection effects). It felt good playing that game

My beloved Reno Mage against Renolock- Imagine you finally met someone who has actually strategy card games abbilities. Thats when you know you will have a good matchup. This Renolock burned 1/5 ouf my deck trough Gnomeferatu and Brann shennanigans. That included my Jaina and Reno. I still beat him somehow because I had my Brann+Kazakus+Manic Soulcaster plan and I had my Mill Fatique plan in form of Coldlight and Research Project. The game was intense but I've managed to pull out a win.

If there is any chance that my opponents are reading this: Thank you guys. You reminded me why I still play this game)

posted a message on Legendary Reno DK Mage

    Hi)

Janalai is here because my mindset behind this Reno deck is to make it a strong hybrid between being reactive and proactive. I cut the Sindragosa because of that and replaced it with Janalai and here is why: 1. Same as Sindragosa, it comes in later stages in the game. 2. However, it is far more proactive because of the minion it summons-Ragnaros. Ragnaros is still to this day one of the strongest, if not the strongest 8 drops in the game. Combine this with Frostlich Jaina synergy and you have also Ragnaros Lightlord effect. Now combine it with Brann and you will have 8 Ragnaroses that are both reactive and proactive.

Maic Soulcaster is here for the Control matchups. Thats true. But shes not bad without her battlecry either. Spider Tank statline is just good. It trades with most 1,2,3,4 drops and it doesnt feel bad to drop her as a body against tempo deck early in the game. If you think that she is not that good though, just replace her. Some slots in this mage are flexible and this is definitely one of them

Highlander decks are my favorite, so here's a few that I like to use:

Warlock: GetMeowth's Renolock (https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1239924-getmeowths-renolock-64-win-rate-40-22), I'm currently sitting at rank 2 with a 67% win-rate, gonna try and hit Legend with it these days.

    Mage: Element91's Reno Mage (https://tempostorm.com/hearthstone/decks/reno-mage-wild-meta-snapshot-feb-22-2019) and Ekdesigner's (https://tempostorm.com/hearthstone/decks/reno-mage-wild-meta-snapshot-sep-1-2018).

Priest: Memnarch's Reno Priest, combo variant (https://tempostorm.com/hearthstone/decks/reno-priest-wild-meta-snapshot-feb-22-2019).

    Hunter: Dane's Reno Hunter (https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1231259-danes-reno-hunter-rastakhan-rumble-level-up-nerf) and Duwin's  (https://www.vicioussyndicate.com/duwins-reno-hunter/).

Paladin: Hazer's Exodia Reno Paladin (https://twitter.com/HazerHS/status/1076690546234662914).

If anyone has viable Reno decks for other classes feel free to share them.

Have you tried any Renowock lists? ^^

According to the latest Wild meta snapshots Reno decks are at Tier 2 at best and Tier 4 at worst. So Im calling all the dedicated Highlander deckbuilders to unite and show their builds of the Reno decks and discuss them here

posted a message on The existence of Highlander decks indicates a healthy meta?
    Quote from cLimZ >>

I have played in the meta with and without Highlander deck existence. For the last 2 months after the nerf I have been able to climb to rank 5 with Highlander Priest again. This was the first time Im able to play Highlander Priest which was almost unexist between rank 10-5 since year of the Mammoth begin.

We can all agree that the current state of the meta is healthier since the last nerf, I would say most classes have at least 1 playable deck, Highlander Priest and Lock in particular.

So my focus here is to discuss the come back of Highlander deck in the meta, is it an indication that the meta is healthier when they are able to compete?

It would be interesting to see what happen when the new expansion release and to see if Highlander decks are being played as an indication that the meta is healthy.

The existence of Highlander decks means they are strong. Thats it. Kabal Highlander archetypes wandered around first 3 Tiers since their creation. But Wild is far away from being healthy(Still healthier than Standard lol). Druid is almost extinct. Highroll is happening one turn earlier thanks to Thekal. A lower ranks are swarmed with bots and part from one tourney the Blizzardf is getting a huge dump on the format.

I still like and enjoy the variety there but the meta and state oif Wild is far from being healthy xD

    Quote from Dendroid >>

Odd and Even have distilled the possible competitive decks in Wild to a smaller number simply because of the power of aggro.  Wild already had crazy aggro decks, we didn't need more hyper aggro that was stale the first 2 weeks it was out.  Just cause we had aggro doesn't mean adding more aggro has no effect on the meta, it does, especially for climbing.  These cards were a mistake, but all that's irrelevant because this was always the endgame, Wild get's shit on because who cares, they'll sell wild packs anyway.  Strongly disagree with your logic; you simply ignored the aggro problem because "oh there's only this many tier 1 tier 2"...you made your polemic but it's not in line with reality.

Older formats tend to be faster. And that is okay. Look at Magic,YuGiOh and so on. Thats why I said it is okay for Wild to be faster ^^

posted a message on Even Odds are not dangerous in Wild

Hi.)FirePaladin here again with another interesting topic to discuss. I want to put out my thoughts about the HoF rotation of Year of the Dragon and especially on 2 cards: As you can guess by the title: Its Genn and Baku.

A early rotation to the Wild have some reasons. The thing is that they are just too good for the Standard to be there. Consistently having an better Hero Power since beggining of the game leads to consistency in playstyle during the match which leads to having an edge over opponent in most cases. It made Standard games to play out as games of insane swings in late game,Combo decks cycling and Genn/Baku decks consistently curving out the cards and Hero Powers. Of course they are not the only current problem of Standard. However they are the main offenders of the format.

    1. This doesnt count for the Wild. People are freaking out about build-around deck restrictive cards. For example they feared Highlander deck archetypes that are build around Reno and Kazakus but as we can see they are definitelly not at the top of Wild meta decks. You would probably ask why? Well, the answer is right in fornt of you: Other archetypes. And Wild has a lot of them. Really, really a lot. As a prove lets list all the Tier 1,2,3 decks in Wild where I would like to highlight the Genn and Baku ones:

Priest: Dragon Priest(Inner Fire or Mindblast),Big Priest,Reno Priest varriations(Combo Control and pure Control),Wall Priest

    Mage: Exodia Mage/Freeze Mage,Reno Mage,Tempo Aluneth Mage,Odd Aggro Mage

Paladin: Anyfin Thekal Paladin,Aggro Thekal Paladin,Odd Paladin,Mech Paladin, Even Paladin

Hunter: Odd Hunter,MechaHunter,Midrange Beast Hunter,Secret Hunter,Egg Hunter,Reno Hunter and Spell Hunter

    Rogue: Kingsbane Pirate Rogue,Odd Rogue,Mill Rogue,Experimental underrated builds(N'Zoth Rogue,Egg Rogue)

Warrior: Pirate Warrior,Odd Warior, DMH Control Warrior,Midrange Dragon Warrior

    Warlock: Discardlock,Renolock,Cubelock,Mechathunlock,Evenlock,Controllock

    Shaman: Even Shaman,Aggro Shaman,Renowock,Malygos Shaman,Deathrattle Shaman

Druid: Aggro Druid,Jade Druid,Togwaggle Druid(sadly they are all Tier 3 at best)

    2. As you can see out of all decks mentioned we can count only 5 Tier 1 or 2 Genn and Baku decks and 3 of semiviableTier 3 Genn and Baku decks. That is not so scary anymore right? Furthermore, all of them have a legitimate competitor and can be frequently questioned if they are truly the better option to go for. Odd Rogue might be worse than Kingsbane Pirate Rogue. Evenlock can lose to Cubelock pretty easily because of the Cubelock tendency to make explosive and uclearable boards. Even Shaman is slower than Aggro Shaman that sees some competitive play, Odd Paladin has a strong competitors for Number 1# Paladin in from of Anyfin Thekal Paladin and Aggro Thekal Paladin and as a final strong deck: Odd Warrior suffers from Control and Combo deck which definitelly cant be said about an experienced DMH Warrior player(Yes I know that DMH Warrior is skill intensive deck).

    3. The reason why Odd and Even decks wont be a problem for the future is the fact that other decks will improve as well. The format has a really strong Highroll decks in form of Big Priest,Voidcaller Package in Warlock and Thekal Package in Paladin. Aggro decks are here as well: Aluneth Mage,Aggro Trogg Shaman,Aggro Paladin,Kingbane Pirate Rogue, Mechahunter(extreme highroll potential in first 3 turns). Midrange? We got them as well: Midrange Hunter,Dragon Priest,Even Shaman and Odd Rogue. Combo truly does kind of suffer because of things like Dirty Rat(Malygos Shaman and Freeze Mage) however, the format has a ton on Combo-Control decks that proved to be succesfull and dangerous competitors against other archetypes. To name a few: Cubelock,Reno OTK Priest,Anyfin Paladin,Mechathun Warlock. And the format can offer something for the Control mains as well: Renolock,Reno Mage,Control Reno Priest, DMH Warrior and even a succesfull reactive deck which is a rare thing to see in current Hearthstone: Odd Warrior

    4. Another point of why Even and Odd decks are not dangerous for Wild is the thing that they brought the older archetypes to life back again. Evenlock is a ressurected Handlock from GvG era. Odd Rogue is a revenge of Keleseth Rogue, Odd Paladin is basically a Dude Paladin. Even Shaman is long awaited Midrange Shaman archetype and Odd Warrior is good ol' Wallet Warrior.

    5. My final point is: The format has other things to worry about. The NerfHammer which has hit the Druid multiple time lately made him almost absent from the format because of the fact of having only semi competitive decks. Highroll potential should be addressed in form of counters to say the least because Turn 2 Thekal and Double Molten Giants are unbetable similarly to turn 3 Coin Barnes into double Y'Shaarj. The bots on lower ranks and Casual are not a good thing too and dont even let me start about Wild competitive scene and the small attention that the Wild is receiving from Blizzard and players.

Thats all from me folks!) What are your thoughts about this? Do you agree or disagree?

posted a message on why this is my favourite meta so far in my opinion
    Quote from RichardSRocha >>

I'm curious which "new decks" rose in Wild, 'cause in Standar is the same bs as always. (Please spare us from telling Wall Priest is a new archetype).

Anyfin Thekal Paladin rose from the ashes recently. People are experimenting with Dragon Warrior again. Aluneth Mage is back since Mana Wyrm nerf. Kabal Reno decks are currently all in a good spot where they can be called superior Control decks. Midrange decks are lurking into the meta in form of Even Shaman,Dragon Priest (Mindblast or Inner Fire),Midrange Beast Hunter and Midrangish Mech Hunter with a early highroll potential. People are experimenting with a few cards and the meta is pretty diverse. Druid is in the worst spot right now but still sees some play in form of Jades,Token Aggro and Hadronox Nzoth varriations.
