posted a message on Hearthstone Battlegrounds - How Do They Work?

What he means by that, my mentally handicapped friend, is there are so many other different things you can do "for fun" in HS, like K&C dungeon, that RoS pve content thingie, a tomb run or try to do heroics if you havent done it already or try out a new deck in ladder etc. Im playing the ladder because it gives me something in return each month. If you wish to spend your time to have fun, there are better, and i mean WAAAAAYYY BETTER things to do than this garbage mode, especially with the current rewards, which is 0.

Will be forgotten in 3 months, maybe 2. A complete waste of time for all parties involved.

Found another variation of this deck elsewhere, 15-4 so far.

In that version instead of Togwaggle's Scheme, Sap, Edwin VanCleef, Fan of Knives, SN1P-SN4P and Ticket Scalper, i use 2xMecharoo, 2xEVIL Cable Rat, 2xUnderbelly Fence and 2xHench-Clan Thug. Sacrificing combo and card draw for consistency.

One of the worst decks i have ever played with.

Absolutely useless against any agro/midrange deck which is what the meta is all about.

Played Thief Rogue, Secret Paladin, MR Hunter so far.

Secret Paladin is the  major disappointment of this meta for me. Even with card draw it is just not enough.

Thief Rogue is highly inconsistent, very good against Bomb Warrior and Mage decks, horrible against everything else

MR Hunter is THE anti face deck, loved it so far, very good against Rush Warrior but so useless against Bomb Warrior

posted a message on Open Letter: How to Run a Reveal Stream

One of the worst streams that i have ever watched

1- They talk too much, it is distracting and annoying really.

2- Their lack of vision for the cards at their hands was just mind blowing, there were a few cases during the stream where an epic play was about to take place and yet they just couldnt see it. They also missed a significant amount of synergy introductions.

3- 0 entertainment value. There is a difference between a streamer and a designer. A designer can make jokes then and there (if they are social enough and they obviously werent) but a streamer entertains. That is the difference between a few chuckles and a quality stream. The first example comes to mind is Kibler. While Kibler was trying synergies with the cards in his hands without knowing his deck he took a risk and paid a big price for it by burning Gul'dan. You cannot plan this, you cannot set this up and the reaction and emotions of Brode and Kibler were priceless. It wasnt a particularly amazing stream yet i enjoyed some of it.

4- A highly forgettable cast. The CM just didnt shut up, Cora was just taking her sweet time in every single turn it became mildly irritating and Peter was only there to provide information but he made it so horribly that it made people more confused than educated.

I dont know if they have another stream scheduled for this expansion but there is no way in hell i ll be watching again.

posted a message on New Mage Legendary Card - Khadgar

In theory a hand mage deck with Jan'alai could work but:

    1- Too slow

    2- Very inconsistent

If the meta revolves around control (highly unlikely) it might see some play.

Here is the thing though: Treasures alone wont help you win the game, sure it will provide a massive boost to your tempo or board control but ultimately thats not a win condition and this deck desperately needs one.

The only treasure that might make it happen is the Golden Kobold but that is very unreliable and requires so much time to build a board to pose a significant threat.

Also another thing to remember: Blizzard will never build a control meta, sure these cards looks fancy and all but they are very slow. Agro will inevitably crush these theories.

The problem with this deck is that over 70% of the hearthstone player base LOVES to play agro, (maybe it doesnt require any thinking that could be the reason but anyway) and this deck has a little to no chance against agro. you start playing after 5 mana basically, and by the time you got there you have somewhere between 5-15 hp left

instead of Prince Taldaram, Mal'Ganis, Voidcaller, Sylvanas Windrunner and Big Game Hunter i went with another Doomsayer, 2xMistress of Mixtures, 1xSense Demons (idea from deepfear below my comment), 1xSiphon Soul and Spiritsinger Umbra (where there is N'zoth there has to be an Umbra). Still not enough to deal with agro but it is better against midrange now. Agro will always be a problem for this deck, just need to pray rng jesus

    Quote from dps_kane >>

why would you put gang up instead of lab recruiter? recruiter leaves a body behind...

i needed to open some space for minstrel draws, when you draw another minstrel and a recruiter its pretty much a slap in the face while you need a shinyfinder. also as therabbitone pointed out, i sometimes use it with prep especially on earlier turns, not always but its a good option to have

edit: was meant to reply but couldnt delete the message, sorry :)

i added 2xGang Up + 1xSprint instead of Evasion and Doomerang, worked like a charm

My previous version of KB deck had 2xLab Recruiter with 1xBackstab and 1xPreparation but after reading the comment section its better now

The fact that you need to mulligan for

    1- Young Dragonhawk

    2- Adaptation

    3- Blessing of Wisdom

and if you add the astronomical chance of lich king NOT using glacial shard on turn 1 or obliterate on turn 4-5, and getting the right adaptations, your odds are simply astronomical.

if you have months, even years to spend on this yes you have a slight chance, it is a useful deck but otherwise try to do ranked plays and get gold, turn those golds into packs and you can build a decent deck in a few months, and this option actually will take a shorter amount of time to complete.
