everything about the current Shaman is way too strong. It has like a 70% win rate, there are no counters, it gets bought by one hundred percent of pros at every tourney, it gets banned by one hundred percent of pros at every tourney, Blizzard new they were not nerfing its strongest cards when they nerfed other classes strongest cards and assumed we'd be cool with concede skipping our way to the next standard rotation, I can't tell you how many streamers I have heard say their Shaman decks only lose to other Shaman decks.

posted a message on Should I autoconcede against mage as a rogue ?

    I say yes.

I would have said no previously.

But I have been auto conceding every time I que into Shaman, and I am honestly having more fun playing Hearthstone.

If you find there is just one match that consistently feels terrible and super unfair to play. Just skip it and move on.

Obviously this isn't a good tactic if your want to rank up, but if your just looking to have fun, I can say I have tried it out and skipping matches that you know are going to be crushingly unfair is the way to go.

Yah, but I don't want to either play Shaman or a direct counter to Shaman.

I honestly wasn't sure about just auto conceding every Shaman game, but I am legitimately having more fun playing Hearthstone.

It is basically the only deck in the game right now that is broken. So just ignore it and move on.

To be honest I do enjoy the game more now that I always concede turn one to Shaman

There really is no other match up that is consistently that frustrating and anger inducing

Shaman has a 70% win rate I just troll then concede when I see one.

Qued into 3 Shamans in a row.

Guess I'm not playing HS until the new standard rotation.

    Your list is excessive.

I have stopped playing against Shamans though. Shaman is at like 70% win rate fuck that.

I just concede or troll then concede every time I play one.

posted a message on Karazhan Was the Worst, Right?

    Well second worst....

If your ranking the adventures and the expansions by their effect on the meta. I think Karazhan has to be second worse right under Grand Tournament (mostly unremarkable cards but also Secret Paladin arguably the most cancerous deck in HS history.)

Karazhan has a pretty similar record.  The few cards in the set that get used just slid into existing archetypes making good decks better and doing little to nothing for bad decks.

The biggest impact it had was making Yogg decks better. yay.... Also making Shaman WAY better. yay.... It didn't introduce new cancer like Grand Tournament but it turned the cancer we had up to eleven. I mean a one mana 3/3 weapon for the strongest class in the game what were you thinking.

For arena players though I know that this is hands down the worst, near game breaking, omg everything I have in brain is telling me to stop playing this horribly balanced game release in the history of HS.

The only new deck, and I have been playing only decks with the new cards because I try to be the solution to freshening up the meta in HS and not the problem, but the only deck I have in the roster of decks that use Karazhan cards and is actually a new archetype and is slightly viable is Rez Priest. As you know Rez Priest is both not very good because it lacks consistency, and extremely frustrating and not fun to play against when they do hit the dream of turn 3 Blademaster, turn 4 rez x2 into Onyx Priest.

posted a message on Entomb Djinni Odd Interaction

I have a new interaction in Hearthstone that I'm sure few have seen

I have two Djinni of Zephyrs my opponent has a Djinni of Zephyr

My opponent plays Entomb on my Djinni of Zephyr

His Djinni of Zephyr also becomes Entombed into back into his deck

My other Djinni of Zephyr is not effected

The card text on Djinni of Zephyr says "After you cast a spell on another friendly minion, cast a copy of it on this one."

Because Djinni effect takes place after you Entomb the card you Entombed is technically at that point a friendly a minion...that was in your deck when you cast Entomb on it...which can't be cast on friendly minions....oh god the top is still spinning, I have entered the matrix, mobious loop, mobious loop

Yogg would be okay if the tournaments didn't take themselves so seriously (as Kripp pointed out).

So many people are trying to justify having this "Fun", completely random card be viable in serious, competitive tournaments. What?

If the tournaments were all about having good times and fun, then Yogg would be awesome! But as it stands right now, they are trying to make Hearthstone seem like a serious E-Sport.. and it's not!

And this, as I mentioned before.
We are sometimes emotional about crazy rng because hearthstone is a game where at a given point a player can beat any other player ina given match - mulligan plus a roll is enough. We get emotional when we dont notice progress in our 'skill' since any newer player can take wins from us. But that's hs: Skill cap low, fun game. I recommend Faeria more for those who complain
Thing is, I love faeria: but it's less fun ;)
I think this highlights what this really comes down to.

The split in the Hearthstone community between people who play for crazy interactions and fun decks against those who play it with a more competitive mindset and want to lower the rng aspects to make room for skill to have more importance.

I think there s a happy medium to be found but we are very far from it. Judging from the fact the biggest threads on Hearthpwn tend to be salt threads by the competitive minded players about Yogg, or salt threads by the for fun minded players about Aggro Shaman.

    I like Yogg

    I think Yogg is fun

Yogg is also obviously terrible if you want to have a serious competitive scene, this card has no business in tournament and pro level matches and should be banned from that format.

Cool. Seems like a lot of people have been success so there is definitely something to Dragon/Curator Hunter.  I just really like having a slower Hunter to play with many interesting plays, I usually don't like Hunter.

You are almost definitely right that not running murlocs is stronger. lol! :)

There is just something about a surprise 4 dmg nuke form a Bluegill, or buffing Sirfinely or another Warleader for an advantageous trade that is just so oddball it really makes me enjoy the deck.

I know it seems like there are not enough Dragons or Merlons to hit the synergies consistently, but there are alternate plays consistently enough that you can usually save these cards until you can combo in my experience.

Also the Bluegills are often pretty useful as just a 2 dmg nuke, and Ysera sits in your hand forever so just drawing it early means your always going to trigger Dragons.

This deck has been running better then my usual creations

I am at Rank 12 and still going strong. It is the middle of the season so I don't get totally swarmed by Aggro Shamnans. I did play two in a row just now and went 1-1 so not too terrible. Then i beat a Midrange Shaman and a Renolock but those two played real bad. lol.

I think the record for this deck is at 9 wins 2 losses.

Murloc Warleader and Bluegill are the Merlons you want trust me. It seems like you wouldn't hit that combo enough for it to be good but it works out more often then would think. You can kind of play slower then you normally would with Hunter as this is a Midrange Decks that leans a little closer to control. I focus on Board Control pretty much every turn.

You win as any good Midrange deck wins. When you hit your synergies your cards on curve are just better then anything they can play on curve.

posted a message on THE thing that makes you tilt the most

Really just playing against the same deck over and over and over again.

This is really only a problem at the start of the month. At the start of the month I have just stopped playing hearthstone. I find it incredibly frustrating, boring, and rage inducing. I just wait a week play some Faeria and then pop on see if the hardcore netdeck crowd have made it to the lower ranks yet, then come to Hearthstone.

I don't care about being at a low rank if I can make my own decks and have some success with them. If you just que into a chain of Tier One Aggor Shamans, Dragon Warriors, Zoolocks, and Tempo Mages your win rate with a deck you made is going to be right around %0 most of the time.

I am actually pretty happy right now with the game because it is the middle of the month and at Rank 15 I don't see those decks very often, and when I do they are played absurdly bad.
