Entomb is a powerful card but I don't see how it could "get out control." That would imply that its potency would somehow snowball. Barring a strange new mechanic that synergizes with it, I don't see that happening.
The benefits are fairly obvious - hard removal without triggering death rattles plus add a powerful card to your deck. There are some serious drawbacks though:
- At 6 mana, it is very likely that a Priest will have another play following an Entomb, short of a heal or throwing out a low cost / low immediate impact minion like Chow or Museum Curator. If your opponent has a board, you have burned almost your entire turn to address one minion. It is also a massive tempo loss if you don't have other answers for an otherwise-awkward card for Priest to address (basically any 4 attack minion) and you're forced to entomb a four or five mana cost minion.
- While adding a strong late game card to your deck is a benefit both in the obvious way and as an additional card in a fatigue war, it can also keep you from pulling needed removal, a taunt on a pivotal turn, etc. when you need them.
As other posters have noted, priest with Entomb still gets smoked by combo. Midrange / tempo can also be brutal if you don't draw your removal. Even aggro can be a struggle if you don't pull a chow or deathlord in the early game. There's a lot of ground to cover before it even becomes a tier 1 deck, and accordingly, a long way to go before we have to worry about "Entomb OP! NERF!"
With that said, if you don't mind 20 minute games and some real auto-lose match-ups against Freeze Mage and Murloc Pally, control priest is one hell of a fun, interesting deck to play and it absolutely punishes Secret Pally in an incredibly satisfying way.

Use Demon Handlock. Classic Handlock is too slow for the meta, not sticky enough. Try my list and see what you can get.

I am not digging on all this smack talk. He is no boom. We get it. HE DOESN'T BELONG IN EVERY ZOO DECK. But he is very good in a well made Druid zoo build. I run wisps, tinyfins, and hobgoblin. It's very solid. My win ratio is 3-1. You can have openers like innervate hobgoblin wisp wisp. Illidan is a perfect top to the curve in this deck.

you might possibly be the worst player on earth. This deck absolutely destroys any aggro deck. It's literally close your eyes and win. Maybe HS isn't for you.

I'd rather think about golden water elemental than about how Liverpool got its name. Yech.

Your deck is fine-ish. Pint-Sized Summoner isn't useful, you should get a couple of Wild Pyromancer a$ap, instead.
Also, forget quite everything you know about M:tG. Hearthstone is really different and a lot of people I know having a past with M:tG (myself included) have some wrong habits… about trading and deck-building as you pointed out really consciously.
You should craft Lightbomb (x2) as soon as possible too, then you'll gotta get the League of explorers (Entomb(x2), Museum Curator (x2)).
The other card you are missing is Cabal Shadow Priest (x1) and Justicar Trueheart (x1).
If you want to improve your skills, watch Zetalot's stream and Kolento's records :)

No, it is great. I was sick of working my way up from the 20s every single month.

Val'anyr: Awesome weapon and a perfect fit for the deck when you run 2x Drygulch Jailor to generate tokens to play from hand. This also means the weapon won't stick to a tech card like Ooze or Spellbreaker as often. Vulnerable to Silence but is hardly slowed down by weapon removal, making it great value. Honestly, I can't imagine playing Even Paladin without this.
Silver Sword: Very good card but vulnerable to weapon removal, and that is a 6 mana setback, if you got in one swing the turn you played it. If you don't have a board, this is useless, unlike Val'anyr which is way better if you need to catch up. Personally, I don't run this.
Crystal Lion: Powerful card that also benefits from Drygulch Jailor but right now, I feel running 2x Avenging Wrath is a better choice. That card is great for screwing up other Paladin's boards or finishing off a Cubelock near death.
Sea Giant: Too many bad things can happen to this minion. Or it can be ignored when the opponent is on the attack. Decent play in a mirror match or vs. Baku Paladin, not good enough vs. Druid, Priest or Warlock.

Going to try this. After my own failed attempts to make Lady in White work with Awaken the Makers, this looks promising. I've been meaning to dust off Lyra.

Free game is too expensive. What?
Look. Either you invest time, or you take the shortcut and spend some money. Spending time is smarter anyway, because you also gain experience (IRL) so you win more games so you get more gold quicker... Etc.
This game is as expensive as you want it to be and you even get to choose the currency.

Why does every fucking Warlock ever need to play those stupid fucked up Mountain Giants on turn 4????
FUCK OFF ALREADY, GOD!!!

Great, another Legendary to support the stupid Aggro Mage 'draw your entire deck' strategy.
Who greenlit this?

8 losses in a row, most of which against that stupid rogue deck with the neverending pressure.
I'm so sick of this. I hate this game. I hate what it is doing to me. I hate how it is getting to me. Fuck the people who designed this awful, shitty piece of garbage to hell. They aren't game designers, they are monsters. They deserve to suffer.

As long as Chief Inspector is in the game, this won't take off. It isn't played now, because secrets aren't oppressive now.
