I just went 12-0 on the Brawliseum with my Control Warlock. There were some pretty intense control matchups, and managed to smash some cancerous Hunters/Paladins along the way as well.
I ended up dropping the Demonic Project for a second Twisting Nether after all. The combo decks are really few and far between. The other changes have been doing great, though.
The Ooze is invaluable. And since many decks aren't playing it, Skull of the Man'ari goes unpunished most of the time. Skulking Geist can delete 2-6 cards from most Hunter archetypes, and disrupt some other classes as well. The Lich King is a bit of a personal preference. His cards are often very useful, and players will go to extreme lengths to get rid of him. The Demonic Project is there in case I face some combo deck, but it can be replaced.
EDIT: After a few pretty decent runs, I just went 12-0. The final boss was a Druid playing the Hakkar/Togwaggle deck. Between the Geist getting rid of his Naturalizes and Spellstones, the Owl silencing his Hakkar and the Ooze destroying his Twig, it was a breeze. Besides having an extremely solid Control deck, these disruptive cards (along with Gnomeferatu and Rin) are really the MVPs here.
I don't dust golden legendaries from sets I'm still regularly opening packs from. Afterwards, if it's not useful in the least I might dust it. If I'm short on dust I might disenchant golden epics that I never use. But all in all, I like golden cards and often craft my favorite legendaries in gold.
My first reaction is I can't bring myself to craft Clutchmother and the quest, even though discard lock looks fun and quite strong. :/
On the same boat.
Means that it does not look fun for you.
It does. However, I only have so much dust, there are a few more decks I wanna try, and nearly all of the discard legendaries are rotating out. I might still try it, but will wait a bit more this time around.
It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight Risin' up to the challenge of our rival And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night And he's watchin' us all with the eye of the tiger

I have been hunting Hunters down with a variation of that deck.
- 2x Despicable Dreadlord, 1x Plated Beetle, 1x Mountain Giant, 1x Twisting Nether
+ 1x Gluttonous Ooze, 1x Skull of the Man'ari, 1x Skulking Geist, 1x The Lich King, 1x Demonic Project

Lyra the Sunshard is so grossly incandescent. It's one of the legendaries I had to craft in gold.

I too just got Gonked without consent.
I just hope my GF gets a decent Loa, since she is F2P. If she gets Gonked as well it'll be sad.

Golden High Priestess Jeklik
Even if the archetype doesn't work out great, I just love everything about her.

That is indeed terrible. Here's how he originally sounded:
