posted a message on Jade Idol - NERF

This card has single-handedly forced an aggro meta. Control warrior shits on every aggro deck used right now, but infinite growing golems is nigh impossible to keep dealing with.

A single card defining the entire meta simply should NOT happen.

posted a message on What decks are considered "cancer"? (other than Jade)

What "cancer decks" means usually depend on who you're talking to and how much of a whiny little bitch they are. My idea of decks that kill the game are decks that are frustrating to play against AND overrun the game, Decks like Secret Paladin and Face Hunter back in the day. But if it became that big an issue I could just play the deck that counters them.

Admittedly, not everyone can do that, I have access to all relevant cards so I can build whatever deck I want. I'm sure there's plenty people who can't pour money into HS and don't have access to those counter decks. So they're forced to deal with matches they can't win, which kinda kills the point of even playing.

posted a message on What You Think Is The Best Class For Reno Decks.

Probably just warlock, Im running Combo renolock with some other additions like Kazakus, but overall it still plays like old renolock, Draw cards, control the board, Combo you opponent for 20. Kazakus potions are OP as hell, sometimes you get the weak effects but the 10 mana potion can be as powerful as a strong N'zoth turn.

posted a message on New Priest Legendary Card - Raza the Chained

I want to say Reno Priest will be a thing but card draw is vital for any control deck, and priest depends so heavily on Northshire Cleric for card draw, being forced to only have one may be too harsh a penalty. Renolock obviously has Life Tap which is why it was the only successful Reno deck when Reno Jackson was released, Reno Mage coming in a distant 2nd place thanks to Arcane Intellect and Cabalist's Tome on top of Mage having so much removal. Maybe RenoPriest will make it of the back of N'Zoth, the Corruptor with Shifting Shade, Polluted Hoarder, and possibly Loot Hoarder. along with some other good deathrattles. But unless Priest gets some form of decent card draw from MSoG, I wouldn't hold my breath.

posted a message on New Card - Bomb Squad

The biggest part about this card I see is that unlike Bomb Lobber, the minion it hits is NOT random, you can target it, which makes it so much stronger. there are so many good targets being played right now, Azure Drake, Thing from Below, Malkorok, Sylvanas Windrunner Fire Elemental Savannah Highmane, Baron Geddon. I don't care much for the deathrattle, Health is a resource, The only point of health that matters is the last.

posted a message on Your top three hate classes? Rant topic!

Saying you hate a entire CLASS is dumb, I love Freeze mage yet hate Tempo mage, Because I hate RNG, and freeze mage has practically zero RNG beyond card draw, If I lose, 9/10 times I can safely pin it on myself. Tempo mage on the other hand...

Way too much late game, anyone with a strong opening is just gonna waltz over you. If this deck is truly working for you then you must be getting perfect draws every game or you're playing at rank 25.

I feel like the Keyword is too vague, mostly because it's a term already used frequently in Hearthstone, it can easily be mixed up. If it was "Sacrifice" then it would be a lot more clear.

Hey guys! This here is my idea for this week.

I watch Kripparian quite a bit, and he has recently been playing Shadowverse. In that game, one of their classes (Runecraft) has the unique mechanic that several cards become stronger each time you play a spell while they sit in your hand, creating some impressive combos. So, I thought Hearthstone could use something similar to that. I chose the Highborne since they were (and still are) addicted to magic. It only makes sense that they would grow in power the more magic you use around them.

I'd love to hear some feedback! In my opinion, it might be a bit strong, but I'm quite proud of it.

"Might be a bit strong" is an understatement, Freeze mage and Malydruid would be totally broken if they had this, they simply hold on to this all game casting spells as normal while racking this things spell damage to ridiculously high levels, If a freeze mage were to cast 5 spells while holding this, then Frostbolt, Ice Lance, Ice Lance Fireball would be 36 damage out of hand, for 9 mana, WITHOUT Emperor Thaurissan. As a Freeze Mage player myself, I can tell you that pulling that off would be reasonably easy. and that's if you draw ONE copy of Highborne Mage. I've never played Malydruid but I know they run a lot more spells, so they could definitely go even higher.

Since I already saw someone mimik my Idea I posted yesterday, I'm just gonna ask for feedback again, because I didn't get futher feedback on my last post.

    OR

Which one do you prefer and would you give it a different statline/mana cost?

I think because of the Overload, the second one could be a 5/6 without being OP, but I do like the cards.
The Overload: (1) gives it Spell Damage +1, so it balances itself 1-to-1. The statline should reflect that balance designwise, so I would only want to change it to 4mana 4/4, 3mana 3/3, 6mana 6/6 etc. The question is, should it have Spell Damage the turn you play it or not and is another statline/mana cost more fitting?
Imo, yes it should have Spell Damage the turn you play it.
I would keep the first one and make it a 4/6.
Lemme ask for an important detail here: Nearly all of shamans direct damage spells have overload, save Maelstrom Portal and Lava Shock. Does each spells own overload count towards the spell power buff this gives? I.E. does Lightning Bolt deal 4 damage since it gives this thing one overload, or does it only count for spells casted afterwards?

posted a message on New Priest Card - Purify

The only good thing I have to say about this card is that it combos pretty well with Shadow Madness. But that's it. And that's still pretty bad given that you usually sack the minion you took anyways.

This card has it's Pros and cons but usually more pro's depending on your RNG. One important thing to note is that he follows deckbuilding rules, No 2nd legendaries, so if you already have say, Ysera in your deck, he can't give you a 2nd one.

    Pros':

    - You're suddenly 5 cards ahead on fatigue, so this guy will be huge for heavy control decks, should the meta slow down enough he'll be in just about every control deck.

    - Legendary minions are usually big, so that will be a LOT of extra muscle in your deck if you're lucky, even if it's something slow like Gruul, if they have to stop to deal with it then you're favored.

    - He's strong for the same reason the Golden Monkey is, but without the heavy commitment of sacrificing your deck for legend minions.

    Cons:

-Because the minions are usually big then that can pose problems for your mulligan, as you'll have higher chances of drawing something you don't want early on.

    - Legendarys are hit or miss. You can get either Ragnaros the Firelord, Or The Boogeymonster. So praise RNGesus and hope for the best.

posted a message on Is deathwing good?

Deathwing is an "oh shit" button IMO, he's meant to end games for better or worse, and usually does. Unless you're talking about Deathwing, Dragonlord, that one is garbage, dust it.
