Oh damn, Saronite Chain Gang. Unfortunately Doppelgangster is rotating.

    Unleash the Hounds

    Hunting Mastiff

literally anything + Houndmaster Shaw or beast + Tundra Rhino

It's pretty easy to activate, and the card is incredibly strong for a fairly easily achievable condition.

Of course there's no tempo warrior currently. Obviously that's not what we mean, and obviously we mean that a hypothetical tempo warrior archetype looks feasible with the support it will be getting. Try to think a little.

I love that warrior have a pretty solid turn 2 weapon again, although the difference between 3 attack and 2 attack is enormous. All the OP 1-drops are 1/3s. This does better against cubelock to clear early librarians and mistress (although mistress is rotating and will likely be replaced in many decks by plated beetle, which this weapon is bad against). Minions in all the meta priest decks have 3 health minimum. This is a great tool against both murloc and dude paladin, though.

The ideal new tempo warrior play will be to play and use this on the opponent's 1 or 2 drop on turn 2, play a 3-mana rush minion on 3 and use the last hit of the weapon, buffing the rushing 3-drop for a dominating tempo opener. So a playable rush 3-drop will be one crucial element which tempo warrior potentially will need in the upcoming meta, imo. Currently warrior have Redband WaspMilitia Commander, and Darius Crowley, a 2, 4, and 5-drop! It's like blizzard have made the same analysis as me and are trying to prevent tempo warrior from having too strong a tempo play across turns two and three. I really hope there does end up being a good rush 3-drop. Warrior need every push they can get to become playable again.

You're right, it very much is. I'm really hopeful that tempo warrior will be viable. I'm already playing an extremely memey tempo warrior with Grimy GadgeteerDrakkari EnchanterStolen Goods, and the only taunts in the deck being Saronite Chain Gang, one Alley Armorsmith, one Tar Creeper and The Lich King. It also runs Geosculptor Yip because of armorsmith and enchanter. It's got amazing synergies and cross-synergies and actually does fairly well at around rank 5 against all the top meta decks.

I'm sad that most of this deck of mine is rotating and will definitely find a way to make a new tempo warrior work.

posted a message on New Rogue Card Reveal - Cursed Castaway

    Let's see:

    1) Reasonable turn 10 combo with Elven Minstrel, though extremely poor tempo.

    2) Perhaps could fit in a miracle shell to draw Edwin VanCleef (this seems like a weak option).

    3) Rogue does not have any problems in removing minions, so the Rush aspect of the card is not very meaningful in rogue (unless rogue ends up getting some viable rush synergy). A combo'd Eviscerate deals 1 less damage to a minion for 2 mana instead of 6, and eviscerate can also ignore taunt whereas this can't.

    4) Overall seems weak, but the power level of this card is massively dependent on what (if any) combo cards and/or pirates are added in Witchwood. I can't imagine we'll get many or any pirates apart from this, just because of the set's flavour and themes.

posted a message on New Priest Legendary Card Reveal - Lady in White

Yup, I believe this is the most realistic reaction. Additionally, if you're playing larger things to synergise with lady in white, you're compromising your early and mid game, which means you're more likely to die to aggro, and look what the top meta decks are currently: aggro and dude paladin. I don't think either of those decks are getting severely nerfed by the rotation so they (or at least some variant of aggressive paladin) will be near the top as long as call to arms exists and is not nerfed.

You're assuming that the tokens cost 1. I would guess they cost 2, in which case this card is an abomination. Druid will need to get some seriously OP other "hand size matters" cards for this to ever work. Though I do love the idea of mountain giant druid.

One interesting aspect of the deck: you've gone in hard on the armor synergy (double shield slam, double reckless flurry) with only shield block for card-based armor generation, accounting for the upgraded hero power. In other words Baku = less need for armor from cards = more deck space to do other things.

posted a message on Waxmancer Sturmi Overpowered or Bugged!?

Just lost to him as warlock. I had a weird swarm aggro/C'thun hybrid, so the swarm part should be the best counter to him. He completely fucked me. The rest of the run was a cakewalk, he was totally impossible. If he can beat a swarm deck, I don't know how any deck that runs any minions can win. The only bosses I've encountered so far that seem like bullshit (not counting the last bosses, who all have some elements of bullshit), are this guy, the Mothergloop, and chronomancer. The upgraded version of candlebeard usually beats with his 2 mana charging sea giant as well. I've fortunately not come up against the trapped room yet.

Just to add some killjoy to this fine meme:

"Who" refers to the subject of the sentence. The subject of the sentence is the thing which is doing something.

"Whom" refers to the object of the sentence. The object of the sentence is the thing to which something is being done.

E.g. in "MLGlemon posts dank memes", 'MLGlemon' is the subject because you're doing the posting, and 'dank memes' is the object because the memes are being posted. You would say "MLG, who posts dank memes", or, "MLG browses hearthpwn with other users, for whom he posts dank memes" - although here there is now a second object of the sentence: other hearthstone users.

In this card, the text refers to Cave Hydra, who attacks another minion. Cave Hydra does the attacking, so it is the subject. 'Another minion' is the one being attacked, so it is the object. Cave Hydra attacks the minions next to 'the object', and so: "Cave Hydra also damages whomever is next to whomever it attacks". There are two 'whomever's here because there are two objects being referred to. The first 'whomever' refers to the minions next to the minion being attacked - one object. The second 'whomever' refers to the minion being attacked - another object.
