Substitutes for Edwin, Thalnos, and Cairne? I know they can be big players, but I'm playing a non-Reno version of this deck and it's working decently without them. I'm making the switch to Reno, however, because I simply can't survive against decent aggro starts.
I was thinking of fitting in Shadowstop, Deadly Poison, and perhaps a Refreshment Vendor. Opinions?
Correction: Do not coin out Totem Golem against Priest. Honestly, the reward is not worth the risk. Priests generally run two Shadow Word: Pains these days. I SHP'd his golem and he proceeded to lose what would have been a winnable game.
I recently opened a pack containing N'Zoth, the Corruptor, and would like to try out one of the deathrattle decks. However, I only have about 2.6k dust(I could probably disenchant a few cards), and I do not want to blow it all if I can get by without crafting too much.
Do I need to craft both Sylvanas Windrunner and Cairne Bloodhoof to make any of these decks work? I have enough of the other legendaries to make any of the N'zoth decks work, but I would have to craft at least one class legendary for all of them.
Which deck and which legendary(Rag Lightlord, Poisoned Mind, Vancleef, Leeroy for Renolock) will be most worthwhile to me?
IMO, this needs less Thaurissan and engineers and more removal. Doesn't matter if you have 7 copies of Reno if the opponent has 3 huge minions on the board that you can't get rid of.
C'thun decks generally run Brann Bronzebeard and a buttload of battlecry cards to buff your C'Thun, or receive buffs from C'Thun's attack. I feel that Crowd Favorite could easily be a high value minion.
I'm hoping we can assemble a list here of all the cards unavailable in Standard that are worth Disenchanting. In general, I think cards that could be extremely useful in Tavern Brawls should be kept.
What are opinions on cards that should be disenchanted? Post below
Until May 1st I believe, you can still get the two cards from the quests. It's been said multiple times on all over this website. After that point, I believe they are changed to the "Out of Standard, Un-achievable, Craft Only" mode.
Perhaps it wouldn't fit well into a Freeze Mage deck, but I feel it could into a control mage. In either deck, the opponent could have board control, but you Fireball a big minion down and freeze another minion and keep some kind of control of tempo.
Everyone is talking about Tempo Mage, but what about freeze mage(or, more likely, some other control variant). Endless freeze with this and Water Elemental.
I get this is a repeated brawl, but why is there so much hatred for the RNG. It's a game peeps. If you want a purely skilled based game, don't play a card game. If you want less RNG, don't play the brawl. It doesn't have to be a pay-to-win brawl ever time. Enjoy the silliness.
I agree with above. I'd craft a Molten Giant for Renolock. Id also personally craft Antonidas just b/c he is more fun, but Alex can possibly be used for a wider variety of decks.
Honestly, I regret crafting Mal'Ganis for my Handlock deck back in the day. Don't get me wrong, he is useful(and awesome), but there's so many more useful legendaries that would allow me to play other classes, and most decks can get away with, or even be better, without Mal'Ganis. Perhaps just find a Renolock version without the focus on demons.
However, if you're going to play a lot of Warlock in the future, Mal'Ganis isn't a terrible purchase. I think an Alexstraza or something would still be more useful, though.

Is the N'zoth paladin effective enough to craft Ragnaros, Lightlord and Forbidden Healing? Or should I just stick to the decks I can make already.
Also, what would you suggest as a general replacement for Cairne Bloodhoof?

Anyone know if this will work if you replace the Leeroy Jenkins and Faceless Manipulator[ combo?
