    Quote from Manuelo46 >>

That's unrealistic. If you are playing with 1 drops you're probably going to mulligan for them anyway. By the time you play this you'll have on average more mid to higher cost minions left in your deck than low cost minions.

And to be fair, you don't need a giant minion to make this viable. just picture this summoning a 3/2, you've still played an 8 mana minion with 9/8 worth of stats that will summon another minion on death. it always outstats its cost. and just getting a single minion above 3 mana out of this is powerful enough to give a board advantage.

Because Blizz always puts your big minions on the very bottom of your deck.  This card is there to thin out your bigger minions so you can get to the rest of your smaller minions that are hidden beneath them.

You guys act like the other weapons so far are so much better than this.

Mage - draws you cards.  (Like mage ever needed card draw)

Priest - Summons a 5/5 dragon (good luck finding enough spells for more than 1 proc)

    The rest -  TBD

There has to be some value in here somewhere.

I can see building a Secret hunter deck around this.  Who needs little beasts when you can fill your deck with everything else.  All the princes etc.

Hunter can definitely live to later turns without small beasts.  Hunter has plenty of tools and spells.  Secrets and Eaglehorn Bow just for starters.  That must be why she has a bow.  Everyone in hunter is going to have a bow.

They always look super cheap on day 1, until they release the High Res version of the card.

posted a message on Bonemare on the draw

You'd be surprised at the amount of times Prince Keleseth is played in the first 1-3 turns of any game that your opponent has this in deck.  This is one of the reasons he became so popular.  Think back to the days of Tunnel Trogg and Totem Golem.  That combo piece ran the meta for quite some time.  It's because it is fairly easy to have these in your starting turns.  4 cards out of 30, 8-10 chances to have 1 of these cards.  You do the math.

posted a message on Have you pre-ordered Kobolds & Catacombs?

I preordered.  I play this game more than any other, and the other games I play are now free to play so why not.  I've been playing some PUBG, but I don't think I'll need to spend any on that game any time soon.  This is the game for me, and I can't wait to see what they will come up with next.  You have to agree that nobody thought any of the princes would be any good.  This expansion may bring new life to old cards as well.  I've always been a big fan of Kobolds, ever since I started playing Kobold Tribes in the SCII Arcade.  That game is awesome.  Hail to all the Candle Takers out there, and 'U No Take My Candle' ! I can almost guarantee there will be a Pirate Kobold Legendary neutral card.

The Taunt he gives is a bonus.  StrifeCro was playing with a Stonehill Defender.  You may want to try that instead.

Menagerie Magician .  I play this card in Murloc Paladin with Golakka Crawler, Gentle Megasaur, Cobalt Scalebane, and Spikeridged Steed.  I almost always get at least 2 buffs out if it which is insane tempo.  5 mana 8/8.

posted a message on Control Meta

It's like watching old people ....  (expletive).

The reason control meta sucks so bad is that people rope the entire game while they try and figure out what's a good card to play.  It wouldn't be so bad if people just played a card quickly.  Sitting there while your opponent thinks out every single turn is quite boring.  You begin to get distracted and then finally, end up making a bad play.  So there's that.  Faster decks simply allow you to have a more interactive tempo based play style.  People make faster decisions and the games keep moving because they don't have 10 cards in their hand every turn trying to decide which one to throw away.

Don't get me wrong.  If this is what you enjoy, then by all means go play in wild and sit there while your opponent throws cards away and then plays Justicar Trueheart into Reno Jackson, and then concede.  If you enjoy games where you never really had a chance, it only depended on whether your opponent drew Reno Jackson, then play wild.  Every single game during that control meta was decided by Reno Jackson.  Or Justicar Trueheart.  I hated those 2 cards more than any type of aggro card like Patches the Pirate.  At least you knew if your opponent played aggro you wouldn't have to sit through every turn until the end of the rope and then 1 card drops.  And then after 30 minutes out drops Reno/Justicar.

Don't worry, you can already see that next expansion there is a Warlock Legendary that basically wins you the game if you can stall long enough.  That card is begging for a control deck.  Warrior also has the tools and I'll bet their Legendary weapon will not be aggro based.  It's going to either damage every minion on the board or have some kind of execute mechanic.  And Jade Druid isn't going anywhere for a few months.

If anything we need more threads about Mid range decks.  Decks where you play a 3 cost 3/4 minion and actually still have a chance.  Stop printing broken cards like PK, Bonemare, Raza, Jade Idol.

    Rant over.

How does this card work?  Does the extra effect appear when you draw the card?  Does it appear when you cast it?  Does it randomize every turn?

All the effects are extremely strong except for lifesteal.

The card transforms upon being drawn from your deck.  It only transforms once.  If this ends up in your opening hand, you don't get a bonus effect.  Same if you try to get this from Shadow Visions.
You sure it doesn't get a bonus effect?  I don't think the bonus comes from the draw, it comes from the being in your hand.  Isn't that the way they explained it?

posted a message on How about a new feature for the end of the game

Yea, but if you could see what was next, it could help you determine what to keep and what to play.  I'm not saying that you should judge the results on how it's going to be every game.  But say you played 10 games and each time you lost to different opponents.  You want to see the remaining cards pull in your deck to say hmm, I could have played a bit different, maybe I'll try going a little heavier on the board because that time I had plenty still left in the deck (or I had this card and this card).  So you're playing the next game and you realize what is still in your deck and how it played out last time, so you're like ok, I'm going to play a little different because I know this in the deck and this is what happened last time.  I'm just saying that it doesn't affect the game to be considered cheating or revealing so why not have that feature for those people who want to see it.  Sure you can sit there and say it won't help any, or it could cause more trouble than it's worth, but if it's there for me to use I would enjoy using it.

Every game the deck is shuffled randomly, so whatever you may have draw the previous match is absolulty irrelevant in the next one. Such a function if completly useless under every aspect.
It's not really the draw I'm looking for, I just want to see what the rest of my deck is in order so that I can see what it looks like.

It's probably not really all that helpful though as all it'll really do is generate salt if you find the One Card You Needed was one turn away.  If you pulled 15 cards from your deck before losing, the 16th card is just as important as the 30th card.

If you are wondering due to having the choice of choosing more cards or not doing so, then what you want are Probabilities, not results.  The CHANCE of the card you need showing up will help you next game in determining whether it's better to, say, take the 8% chance of getting the card or the 4% chance of not dying by playing defensively instead.  Making such decisions based on what was in your deck last game is a dangerous fallacy to live under.

Also I don't think the deck is actually laid out like a real deck.  It's probably just randomly rolled from a list of remaining cards at the time of pulling.  Thus "the next card" is really the same as going to Random.org and picking a random number.

Yea, but I'd like to see it, and see the rest of my deck.  It helps to see what you're draw looks like for me.  Next game would give me the opportunity to play different depending on the draw.
