It's broken and not fun to play against, yet too many kids use it on ladder and will defend it with empty phrases like "hard to play" "skilled" "playing into combo" etc Anyway there's ton of those threads up do we REALLY _REALLY_ need another one?
Patron Warrior can be played around. Just don't overextend, make sure to deny them card draw (some people STILL ping warrior in the face turn 2) don't play 2 or 1 attack minions, don't overextend, have a good AoE ready. Patron Warrior has only 4 threats, and they don't necessarily draw them all. If they have a perfect hand, perfect Emp, and perfect combo lategame there is little you can do, but that goes for most semi-decent decks.
Blizzard nerfed undertaker... then creates card 10x more OP?! Me thinks they want to have a flavor of the season character each expansion to change things up... Face/Hunter replaced by Get Out of Here Warrior replaced by... we'll see after TGT.

I do think it is a higher skilled deck than some other decks, however balanced? nope. the berserker/commander mechanic is messed up. but yeah we have enough threads on this crap already..

Undertaker Hunter won the game on turns 1-2 with the right draws. There was too much early tempo and the opponent could never catch up.
Patron Warrior is the strongest deck in the game for sure, but at least it has to get to turns 7-8-9 usually.

Yeah, I know it can be beaten... but it's a solid deck and only because of 1 card. I'm not saying it should be nerfed... but I'm also not saying it shouldn't be either. Let's just say I don't care either way... but if it were nerfed down to 2/2 or cost raised up to 6/7 mana I wouldn't be surprised.
Patron warrior is keeping all shamans and paladins (not hyperaggro) out of ladder since he punishes their Hero Power. At this rate they will be unplayable in TGT as well.

Not Grim Patron is the problem but the Warsong Commander buff. But compared with the unnerfed Undertaker in an environment with all the new deathrattles from gvg it would be totally broken.
Shaman is nearly unplayable atm... and paladin's hero power "might" get fixed with TGT but it's by far the worst in game since it's a 1 cost minion for 2 mana it's really just not viable/doesn't make sense when other powers are a lot faster/better. It does help with card draw some and board control but only barely. Most paladin decks aren't structured around the hero power which is a shame because it could be viable and TGT just might make that a reality... finally!

Personally I'd like to see Paladin's Hero Power changed to something deserving of the 2 mana. Maybe a 2/1 or 1/2 would be more viable or a 1/1 with charge or a 1/1 with divine shield (which are still 1 drops BTW) but would be a lot more viable options.
Yes its hard to play and relies on getting the right draws, but any deck that stalls and does a one turn kill against full health is not fun to play against.
In reality though, according to Hearthstats, Patron Warrior has a much lower winrate than midrange pally, tempo mage, face hunter and zoo. So once people have got bored of it they will switch to the next new thing.
The deck is overpowered. With one Emperor proc and a full hand Patron Warrior can lethal you from hand. But it manages to sneak by the nerfbat because of its high skill cap.

I'm baffled that anyone can make these suggestions with a straight face but it shows up in every single one of these threads as though it's new information. This is terrible advice. The only way to beat Patron is to kill him by turn 7. Otherwise (barring a ridiculously bad draw by Patron Warrior), you lose.
Playing slowly doesn't do anything. The deck is capable of dropping 50 damage from an empty board. Board clears don't matter. 1 and 2 attack minions don't matter. None of that makes any difference. All that matters is killing your opponent before he can draw the cards he needs.

Should the problem not be the winrate? From what I hear people is only complaining about the suprise-factor...
