So for all of you who don't know, Toast got suspended because he tested a free win exploit that actually worked. There is a card interaction with Mirage Caller (I will not go into detail) that crashes your game and the game of your opponent. After that you get the win for the game. Devs are looking into it.
how do people find these bugs/exploits? (i'm sure someone told toast about it and then he started to good around) is it only via testing/playing some cards casually?

There is a high chance this bug has been discovered by accident.

After your game glitches out it's just standard behavior: close the game asap and try reconnecting.

Just imagine someone playing a quest priest in wild. He has let's say a Cairne Bloodhoof on board. The next turn he uses Power Word: Glory on it to make it heal him. And he uses Mirage Caller to receive a 1/1 that would either also heal for 4 each time it attacks or if your opponents kills it, summon a 4/5. Also this move would add 1 more deathrattle to your quest completion. All in all a pretty good play that could have happpened.

I will copy/paste my edit from the previous post EDIT: Like, I can agree, that someone used Power Word: Glory and copied a minion with Mirage Caller and accidentally found out about the exploit, BUT it's questionable with the case of Radiant Elemental x2 + Shadow Visions x ... I mean, why would someone constantly use the elementals just for the spell, w/o getting any value. As if someone expected to find an exploit (and how would they expect such a thing), otherwise I can't explain to myself the origin* of the combo.
I guess you are talking about the Nozdormu exploit?
Because there were a few of these Nozdormu interactions already present and they have been fixed. Curse of Rafaam , Youthful Brewmaster and I think another one which I do not remember. And when a card with a chance of misbehaving appears, people try it out. As far as I know, they can't fix the issue on Nozdormu, but only on the respective card that causes the delay on the opponents turn.
To answer your questions: I am pretty sure that the Nozdormu exploit was discovered intentionally by people looking for another drunken Dragon deck (the first combo with Brewmaster).

to feed Yogg?
I am not familiar with the other bug you are mentioning so what I am gonna say is an educated guess at best, but an unlimited cycle of shadow visions does sound like the kind of BM many people in HS seem to enjoy. Assuming you are dead on board and got nothing in your hand/ deck to turn the game, you can still annoy your opponent by wasting your full 70-90 seconds by constantly cycling Shadow Visions.
However I do agree with you that there are definitely people trying obscure things just to discover bugs, like there are in pretty much every game.
yeah, that's an option too btw here's a video with the mentioned exploit
Is it against the TOS to replicate this exploit, considering it is done without the use of any outside software, is completely within the current programming, and can be done accidentally?

No, I wasn't talking about the Nozdormu's case, but thanks for reminding us about him. You are right:
And when a card with a chance of misbehaving appears, people try it out.
Sudden Genesis also makes this issue when being casted with a damaged minion with PW:G.
come to think of it, maybe you are right
today i played in the brawl as a warrior vs a paladin however there was a buffed malkorok and my opp used sudden genesis - the game crashed, but i thought it was on my side

Yes it's bannable to use a known bug to exploit in blizzard games. It's not an "accident" once you know the exploit. Even if it is programmable.

Yes it's bankable to use a known bug to exploit in blizzard games. It's not an "accident" once you know the exploit. Even if it is programmable.
I strongly recommend not trying this.
I wonder, then, if Blizzard is going to ban everyone who plays these specific cards in that order, even if accidentally. Surely there is a huge percentage of the userbase that doesn't even know who Toast is.

There is a difference between accidentally playing a bugged combo, and exploiting it - ie. repeatedly playing the combo in order to gain an unfair advantage. If you are interested, you can google the TOS or Code of Conduct.

Ps.: Don't ruin everyone's game by abusing this.
There's a difference between a ban and a 72 hour suspension.
you saw that on his stream??? , im always curious about disguisedtoast discoveries

Sure there is, but it's a ban just for a limited time. So technically I'm not wrong I just left out that it's not permanent (for the scare-factor).
also he is a popular streamer- I think if this happens to someone else they can say goodbye to their collection.
may I ask something:
how do people find these bugs/exploits? (i'm sure someone told toast about it and then he started to good around)

ya, i guess , and disguisedtoast is a master for finding these, blizz should hire him :)

FYI, game crash isn't fixed but if you do the exploit you get a game loss.
