Be careful about talking doge. I just got a warning for a post exactly like this one. Much stupid so Mod. Excite.
You get warnings because of posts like this that have all but not to do with the discussion at hand. Try adding some input: got any thoughts on the hardcore vs. casual sects? The threads are very troll inducing seeing as the irony down to the very title are begging for it, but believe it or not our discussions here may have some minutiae ripple in the community.
Separately, I'd like to know where you got your percentages @Sherman and Sahgos.

Thanks.
IMHO it's just a game. Everyone should be playing it casually. I admit that I don't. But I realize that this is a problem. Not with the game or the game community, but with myself. Casual gamers have lives. They play a game to relax. I drink in this way. And thats ok. We should all raise the casual gamers up. Because they are doing good in the world. We hardcore gamers are drowning our real lives out in an unending pixel world. This thread is like a bunch of alcoholics bitching at some casual drinkers for not drinking enough.
After reading some more of thread, it looks like they're just bitchin about MC. I don't know why the mod doesn't lock it and tell op to post in the salt thread. That's what they usually do. Posting here is even more a waste of my life than playing this stupid game.
Hi guys, Ramsay Bolton fan number one here :P. Today I want to talk about something that really annoys me and worries at the same time. The new Tavern Brawl has been released (the cooperative one, against Gearmaster Mechazod) and I think it's completly amazing, probably the best Tavern Brawl ever. The problem is, there are a lot of people complaining because it's too dificult for them. Here is a very popular thread about it called "This Brawl is too difficult": http://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/tavern-brawl/81049-this-brawl-is-too-difficult
The same happens with the game overall, it's challenging specially at good ranks and legend, but it seems that bad players that only complain about everything and don't like to improve don't like this style of game. And this is a very, very bad thing for all of us.
We know what happened recently with the game and with the introduction of Mysterious Challenger... we have a deck that has a very good win rate and is one of the easiest to pilot out there. The thing is, it seems that Blizzard take note of this behaviour (players wanting things to be easier) and then they implement them on the game, harming it's quality.
Hardcore players and good players are probably the ones that most of the time milk this company with it's money, support and fanbase since a lot of time ago. So, does Blizzard really needs to satisfy the needs of this bad and annoying players while compromising the quality of the game?.
What do you think about this? Should Blizzard stop listening to this kind of players? Do we really need them?
You are either trolling, or a horrible person. Possibly both.
What are YOU saying? That bad players shouldn't play? That they shouldn't expect to win, and instead, should simply expect to lose? You honestly think most people want to lose to ridiculously stacked odds? That's not fun. Expect whining.
How is Mysterious Challenger or Secret Paladin indicative of ease or a lowering of quality? I'm stuck at rank 20. There's no deck that's going to carry me out. Believe me, I've tried.
I suck at Hearthstone, WoW, and everything else. I've probably spent more on Blizzard games over the years than you ever will. I'm so bad I was forced to buy my cards. Earning them takes too long. I can't even manage 1 pack per day. It's too hard.
Why shouldn't they listen to me? Why should they listen to YOU?! YOU are satisfied with the game. You are happy with it. You don't need anything. I'm the one that needs help. I'm the one that needs cards made just so I can have a "snowball's chance". You? You can probably make legend on f2p within a month of starting.

Now, the first time I played it, I won and I thought that it was easy, but in the end it is not, and probably I was matched with a good player. It is also not very hard, but it's challenging, and that is what makes it so good. Now, I don't have too much problem with it neither, mostly because I played with Mage this seasons, but I have to admit that in the end it's a very powerful deck with no so much skill involved (although I think that hitting legend with it still has it's own merits). The thing is, it seems that Blizzard take note of this behaviour (players wanting things to be easier) and then they implement them on the game, harming it's quality.

I think that this game focus should be mostly for those that love challenges, having a good time, and not only caring about easy wins.

Note: Guys, I finally changed the original thread title (Casual and bad players are harming Hearthstone) because it was obviously wrong and wasn't exactly what I was trying to say. Also, I edited this post a bit, thanks for your help :)
Hi. This game already is noob/idiot - friendly. It's extremely shallow and your concern for "compromising the quality of the game" is not needed, for the quality is minimal. Also, YES, Blizzard needs all players if Ben Brode is planning on keeping his 509 700 digital-card-money yachts.
That is not totally true. Patron Warrior was a clear example of that, a deck that insanly favoured very high skilled players. That was really bad for the game too.
PvE content could easily be handled with difficulty settings and everbody would be happy. Don't forget that tavern brawls usually have balance issues anyway, especially with preconstructed decks. The tavern brawl was also infuriatingly badly done with no way to communicate or at least seeing the cards in the other players hand so I can understand the complaints of the OP in the post you mentioned.

High skilled players? You're missing the point. Patron warrior was a sort of combo deck for which you needed two cards to win: Grim Patron and Death's Bite. Aside from that, i'll say it again - you're missing the point. The game mechanics are shallow and simple, deck only consists of 30 cards, which in itself limits strategy and creativeness. Gradually getting mana and capping at 10 is insanely stupid mechanic that favors mindless aggro decks, and , again, undermines strategy and cunning. Not being able to block minions (see MTG, Spellweaver) also makes the game shallow as well as not being able to act on opponent's turn. All of that makes this game not a game but a well-oiled money machine aimed at rich kids and adults foolish enough to spend money.
"A well-oiled money machine aimed at rich kids and adults foolish enough to spend money"? What the hell man? Why are you here then? LMAO. Don't like the game? Well, don't play it!
It seems that you are the one that don't have any clue about this... Only Grim Patron and Death's Bite? LOL. What about Warsong Commander and Frothing Berserker OTK, wich were a very big problem too. Give me a break please, and stop with your childish and silly nonsense...

Oh sorry, you needed FOUR cards. So deep. Also, I like the game because it's stupid and it's a great thing to play while being high. But don't put it on a pedestal because it does not belong there.
Well, the fact that you accept that you were wrong about Patron, clearly shows your poor ability to understand this "silly" game. LOL. But, of course, I admit it's not rocket science, because yeah, it's just a game. Also, I feel sorry for you for having to be "high" to enjoy the game. It's very sad.
10/10 BM
Dr. Bot. I mean Dr. 6... lol
Great art can never be created without great suffering.
So much brown nosing lately... Who? None of your business.
Great art can never be created without great suffering.
It's not too hard. I've won 5 out of 6?
