    Quote from Exacerberus >>

Sylvanas Windrunner and Grommash Hellscream imho: they won't cycle out of standard so it's a good long term investment. Other good CW stuff from the Classic set: Baron Geddon, Ysera, possibly Ragnaros the Firelord and Alexstrasza. Aside from Grommash, Sylvanas Geddon and Elise Starseeker though you generally need just another big win condition, so you don't need to run them all.

Justicar Trueheart is totally great right now but truth be told: if you're starting to build a CW deck right now -unless you wanna spend something like 120+€ purely for dust- by the time you'd be able to have a fully functional CW deck Justicar will be already rotating out of Standard.

This. You have to take into account standard rotations when building such a deck fresh. Classic set is your best bet, on top of that i might add neutrals should have some pull for their versatility in other decks. Sylvanas, Ragnaros, and Alex should be your main focus, in that order; with consideration that it is warrior and gromm will always be control staple. Alex tho has a big role in Freeze mage, another/somewhat cheaper/ control deck.

The only disappointment lies with that being all you were able to take-away. Not surprising however.

Firstly, your bias for asking such an open-ended question is not conducive to real conversation. The few, anecdotal examples you have are, just that. I am not here to proffer judgement on the actual matter because i, like many do not have the personal experiences necessary. Though as a competitive legend player on the NA server and from my interests in streams I suggest you might pop in on some players with great multi-server success: Lifecoach, justsaiyan, StrifeCro, Dog, Firebat, Zalae (all of these with the exception of strife are great at responding to chat btw) and others who if you recognize on ladder and strike the right way may add you and answer such as muzzy, Ishaan, neo. Best of luck.

Just here to say trust in your teammate. (Unless obvious troll is obvious) If you just think they are bad give them a chance, you could be surprised. My story: I greet the priest, he replies... good sign; from here he plays Garrison turn 2, it gets prioritized and turn four he opts to play a minion and attack in with the 2/1 which the previous turn I had said to myself if that specific play happened I would concede. I stuck it out, it was great. Here's the result:

TL;DR: Have faith in your teammate, even if you think they're bad, they could always still have good cards(or just not be as bad as you thought).

    Quote from Fluxflashor >>

No, you are so wrong. People netdecking and playing those exact secret paladin and druid lists add absolutely NOTHING to the game. NOTHING! They make it a living hell for new players to even enter ranked mode, and dont contribute with an ounce of creativity that, just maybe, could help deckbuilding evolve. I have six friends who have quit because of this, two of them were playing at legend rank. This god forsaken lemming mentality needs to stop. Its ruining the game for a lot of people.

No matter what happens, there's going to be a power-level difference between old and new players. The proper response to this is a catch-up mechanism to help them become more competitive.
Also, I hate to say it, but if old players with those proven-to-be-good-decks are stuck at rank 20, then there's a good chance a new player can beat them should they actually learn the game and how those specific decks work - the tricks they rely on. People stuck that low on the ladder probably aren't very good at the game and clearly can't pilot those decks correctly.
I hate to be the one to nitpick but I failed to see where you address the issue of people being upset about netdecking when proven skilled(the two friends aforementioned by Legacy who reached legend); high legend or not the status takes a deep enough understanding of the game. And it could be argued that is their issue and also subjective, but the feelings are quite mutual as I have seen. As someone who has respected and found intrigue from your opinions on past subjects I was curious about what you'd have on that detail Flux. Hope this doesn't come off as offensive, that's kinda my thing so it may be odd to see a different approach.

This is like saying we should forgive murderers because maybe they think killing people is OK. Are you serious?

It may surprise you to know but this is an actual occurrence. It is most often achieved through a plea of insanity, whether guilty or non guilty it greatly reduces charges in many cases and can result in the dismissal of others. I'm sure there are other ways with out court system to slip murder as well. So in the eyes of federal and state law the response would be yes, he is serious. If you were regarding ethics in your reply it seems odd given your previous comment disregarding the sect entirely. As a moreover the OP never even stated directly he roped for the purposes you imply.

Edit: On a somewhat unrelated note, your alliance to Ramsay Bolton is confusing at its least.

The legal issues you speak of don't condone the murder because of mitigating circumstances, they simply inform the way it is punished. If mental illness led to a genuine belief that the murder was right, the sentence is changed, but the ethical stance on murder remains the same. Nobody is forgiven when proven to have committed murder, extenuating and mitigating circumstances just change the way the punishment is handed down. A plea of insanity never removes all repurcussions either, and will at least lead to court-mandated treatment.
These are subtle differences, and the argument over whether or not there is a higher code of ethics all people adhere to is a deeper question, but murder is never considered ok because of a deviant worldview except to the murderer himself.
    ^ This. Well said man.
How is any of this well said? Just because he uses appropriate grammar doesn't change the fact it's not suited to retort me; he simply wrote an explication on the redundancy and details I chose to omit due to non-relevancy. The why is indicated as clearly as is read- one to the other. I never stated it was therefore condoned through mitigation, it clearly does not read in my response that: A plea of insanity never removes all repercussions* - assumed implication of such is for lack of reading comprehension; I hope you may reread and find your subtle difference as extraneous as sherman considers philosophical crap...  furthermore my reply was to sherman, who chose to abandon ethical scope in his prior comment. Very unnecessarily said and not relevant to original discussion at all, I was trying to show sherman his mix up in attacking the OP for claims unsubstantiated.

This was the best thread I've read for a while, thanks OP and consequently others. I like to peruse more than comment, and I was interested to hear about the specific rage roping induces (good material for my 2016 bming meta). I don't think I have said it verbatim yet but bming is a huge contributor in my fun for this game--whatever you reading this may feel about that is fine, take a second to consider though how much i will care what reprimand you have, given the former--plus winning is just tops. Playing a flustered opponent is a substantive advantage, whether you play to win to the fullest is a matter of choice, I just so happen to enjoy it as well. If that happens to be a secret pally, neat, but it's just another deck that happens to be well formatted for the meta and why be upset about facing a deck you know every card to and how it's played? Basically a free win unless you get unlucky or they are just better than you.

Edit: To the post above me, there happens to a button labeled "ranked play" right next to the casual one; leaving most of your consensus mute. And with regards to 25 seconds, it is not brain surgery, yet good plays take time as well. I encourage you to watch any of the following: Strifecro, Kolento, Justsaiyan, Lifecoach, or Dog (strong bias to my preference obviously, but all highly skilled nonetheless)

    How to play:

Similar to other games on this site in turn style, you will go off of the response of the person before you and so on. The idea is to play a text based game of Hearthstone!

E.g.: I will start off as priest, then the next person establishes who I am facing and makes a t1 play, just as I will. Then someone else will take my t2 as priest, and ipso facto a new person will take my "opponents" next turn (his/her t2). Establish your turn in the order you would just as you play a match, separated by commas and ending with simply "end" or "pass".

It is a collaborative game of Hearthstone played with only your imagination and all the rules of the game, I will do my best to keep people honest as I hope you all may as well.

Once my priest or my opponent loses, the person with the lethal blow(turn) will establish a new class in the same post and the next to reply picks the opposing class and so forth.

Hopefully I have covered my bases, the rules are already well known to us all I'm sure so let's play!

    Anduin vs .......

    The light shall burn you!

    T1Northshire Cleric, pass.

Mosrhun, I have read your non-argumentative retorts for six columns and salvaged little intellectual or constructive presuppositions about the state of political affairs. At the immediate point your rhetoric surmises an opposing or diversified deportment, your own promptly unfurls to true misreckoning; I am left with staying ambivalence, noting your volatility is infinitely akin to the sect you fear so deeply. Such "discussions" you host with others would not show retention in any scholastic fold.

Furthermore the expository passages here are quite dimming to refer to, with seldom established grounds for real intellectual debate. Words should be your own; not some paradigm of such. Latent misrepresentation is namely the predominant  factor in this country's--i.e. North America-- geographical botheration.

Control Priest, I have a near 100% winrate versus aggro for the past week. Currently at rank 5, if that is relevant to you.

Edit: I don't really enjoy warrior but I know Patron does quite well in this meta too. Control war might be a bit slow, I have played grinder mage with reno as well and it does phenomenally, just produces super long games.
