I've been playing casually (all classes) since December in late closed beta. So for almost 2 years. I play enough games to keep my quest list churning but that is about it. I'll be honest that I rank between 15-10 each month. In nearly 2 years I have about 1800 wins. I know I'm not as good as I could/should be but I've not practiced like some, I switch decks and classes constantly, and I know I misplay, as I often see it after I do it. Therefore I know I miss even more that I don't even see. I try to casually enjoy the game at my own pace.
So last night I was being spectated by someone on my friend's list. I misplayed one late game round (Control Warrior vs. Midrange Paladin) that ultimately decided the game as it would have been lethal and I had no more reach. I get a PM from the guy spectating me after that said "You FUCKING IDIOT, you could have won that. I just wasted my time."
I told him I knew I did and I felt really bad. I asked him if he ever made misplays and he said "not as bad as you"
I've not seen trolls like this in 2 years of playing HS. I got to thinking that maybe he could have said "Hey dude, do you realize what you just missed there?" He could have even gone on to offer I watch him for tips. But he just got pissed that he didn't get his free pack. I probably shouldn't let it bother me but it did.
Don't worry about this guy! He may have "wasted his time" because you ended up losing, but how is that your problem or fault? Clearly, he shouldn't be on your "friends" list.
I've had randoms, that I've friended, spectate me and vice versa for the free pack. If one of us loses, it shouldn't be a big deal to just play another game.
Most people understand that no game is a guaranteed win and the only way for people to get better is to help one another so that the next time he can get his free pack faster, potentially. What a 'tard this guy was.
Yep. More rude people out there in the world because people are moving away from Jesus/God/religion. Can attack religion all you want but it's the truth. People are so mean.
I mean, I can kind of understand how he feels. He's probably spectating for the pack. Watching super obvious misplays can be very stressful, but I usually stay silent and let the player make them. Being a good spectator means you don't try to influence the outcome, so in that sense he did the right thing.
He definitely could have been more constructive, though. There's no doubt about that. I feel that it's an unfair statement to ask people to be kind, because not everyone has that capacity. If they can't be kind though, at least they can be silent.
Did you forget asking a question, do you want to spark up a conversation/discussion on the topic, or did you just want to relieve your mind by writing it here?
Yeah, sorry. trying to spark a conversation about people being trolls in a game that is meant to have fun is not a bad idea. Didn't really think of it as a question but just a desire to ask people to try and be more helpful and kind in the game rather than tear down another.
Why would you keep such an idiot in your friend's list?
Add me, i am kind ^^
I really don't know how he got there other than If I get a friend request I typically accept it cause I like to be friendly. Not sure if I've ever had any other interaction with this person. But yeah...BULEATED!!!

When I first started and got this quest I had to watch a guy 3 times to get my pack, and he decided to that for me by playing against the npc. We're still friends.
I just don't watch him anymore lel
