I wasn't the biggest fan of Patron but I didn't hate it. The deck probably did need a nerf but they didn't need to destroy it and make Warsong useless. Now only Control Warriors are viable in current meta, with most of them needing 10k+ dust to create. With this nerf we are now seeing face hunter and even zoo come back into meta, face hunter is possibly the easiest deck to play and requires little to no skill. It hasn't all turned horrible though, Dragon Priest has become a stronger deck with patron and handlock falling out of favour. I would like to see Shaman and Rouge get a little love, Rouge hasn't really been meta since Miracle even though oil rouge was okay for awhile but didn't last long in meta. Shaman never seems to be around and I would love for it to be in meta as I used to love playing Shaman in the old days. Overall I don't really like where the current meta is heading, seems like most decks are going to be aggro and with very little control. So what do you think of the current meta? What other cards do you think need nerfing? would love to hear everyones opinion on this matter.
What can I say, the absolute dominance of cancer pally brought up more cancer to beat then, namely facehunter and aggro druid. Meta is as aggressive as ever, thanks Blizzard for mindlessly screwing it up once again. If they would nerf dr6, the game would instantly turn into a healthy state. But they won't, because of $$$. Oh and ofc nerfing two cards back to back would just show the world how utterly awful they are at designing a tcg. No confessions to be made.
I never complained before until the last few days, I really hate the game right now I run into secret paladins every game. Atleast patron was fun to play against.
I have more respect for patron and Miracle rogue atleast they required you to think, unlike going face with secret pally, i even did fine against buzzard hunter cause you just had to play 2 minions max and you where fine most of the games.
Right now the game is totaly ruined for me, I no longer enjoy doing my daily quests.
Dr. Boom won't be nerfed, considering patron came out latter and then got nerfed. Mysterious chanllenger will only get nerfed if it's the top deck in tournament level for a long period of time, or more likely it limits the design space too much for creating more secrets. Still it's unlikely the card with get nerfed. For one thing we should see mage and priest slowly come in to counter the deck in a way they never could with patron warrior.
Everything is always worse than it was before and will keep getting worse. Ah yes the good old days...

Dr. Boom is an interesting subject, I believe he probably does need a nerf, but the question is how do you nerf it? increase his cost? make him a death-rattle instead? I think they should just make the bombs 1-2 damage and maybe make Dr a 7-5. But I do agree with Josar, it probably won't be nerfed as if they were going to do it they would of nerfed him with warsong, but either way I don't think Boom being nerfed will change the meta that much, but that 1600 dust would be nice aha. It's surprising how little tgt changed meta, people tried to make new decks and use all the new rng but in the end people just took the op cards and added them to the meta decks that were around before the expansion, the only deck that is new is Dragon priest, the rest are just the same old decks buffed up.
I only ran into like 5 patron warriors the whole time I played this season from rank 25 to legend, unless they were patron warriors pretending to not be patron warriors by not playing the patrons.
Don't see how such a rare deck, regardless of how strong, would be that big an impact on the overall meta.
I think you can expect that to continue going forward with new sets Reborn. The only way to insure many new deck is powercreep which has its own problems. It gets harder and harder for a set to have impact as the percentage they can take of a total card pool becomes smaller.
Warsong Commander nerf won't really impact the meta, at least not ladder (tournament is a different story).
The majority of patron warriors were not skilled enough to be consistently effective with the deck. Aggro decks have been getting more popular again anyway, even before the nerf was announced. Secret pally is pretty easy to play around, the novelty seems to be wearing off now.
Not sure I agree with mysterious challenger being broken. It requires about 1/3 of your deck to be secrets. Draw them early and your easily steamrolled by your opponent.
The game needs to change it's decksize to 40 and start hand to 6-7 cards and it'll be an healthier meta all the time where it more boils down to your decisions rather than pure luck

really? I only meet secret Palas round about 1 perhaps 8 matches. actually, I even would like to play more against Pala instead of those annoying control warriors. (the level of anoyingness doesnt depend to me on the win/loss ratio but more on a felt fun factor)
