Devs know that they kill the archetype , it just happends again and in future it will happend a lot . What is really interesting what option in nerfing all this cards they have and why they choose exactly this stupid nerf change.
maybe Emperor Thaurissan nerf will be better in case of Warsong Commander ..
blizzard separate such a happy family, what will happend with kidzerker and his father patron ? I am sad , they dont deserve it !
It seems that a lot of people have forgotten that this is the secondWarsong Commander nerf. It used to give all of your minions charge. So, the first time couldn't have been nerfed into the ground if it had to be nerfed again.

Which is an indicator that maybe, giving everybody in the deck Charge is not the best thought out design.
I agree with the overall premise of this post, though think the correct fix for Undertaker was to make it proc upon a friendly deathrattle triggering rather than upon play of a minion with deathrattle. This would slow it down considerably, and give the opponent a chance to somewhat control the growth of the undertaker by choosing whether or not to kill (or silence) deathrattle minions. Also would have been more interesting with cards that grant deathrattle (looking at you, Shaman)
I mean, for a game with this many players, I feel it would be insanely easy to test a nerf (like the Undertaker one proposed above) so I have to surmise that they dont want to take the time to test changes and instead err on the side of overdoing most changes.

Other games Just have PBEs. Hearthstone has none. I really think a lot of the shit they are making, could be prevented if people could play test stuff.
Half the fun of a card game is being able to come up with deck ideas while playing. With a PBE, there's only going to be ten times more netdecking.
It's like how League used to have a PBE for balancing things, but now it's just for seeing what the new champion is going to be like.
These nerfs are totally fair in my opinion. This is not Magic the Gathering. With the slight exception of CounterspellIn Hearthstone you have no way to respond to a move that generates great advantage during your opponent turn. Both Starving Buzzard and Warsong Commander created winning plays that you had now way to answer to. In a game where you can't interact with your opponent turn, cards like these can't be allowed. Charge and card draw mechanics must be treated very carefully for the game to grow healthy. I think Blizzard developers are doing a great job on that.

Then also remove arcane golem, malaygos, emperor, and all the other bullshit. Just go back to rivercroc, the only truely balanced card.
Arcane golem and Malygos are just finishers. There's a huge difference. You need to setup a game then win with them. Buzzard and Warsong allowed moves that were just too good by theirselves, expecially when they allowed you to draw 4+ cards and gain board advantage all in one shot.
2x power overwhelming, acrane, faceless, faceless = 36 dmg
Malygos, 2x darkbomb, 2x soulfire = 34 dmg
But nah, no OTK here, son. Just Patron. Either you remove them all or none.
Patron allowed for a consistent finisher. Do you consistently see the Arcane Golem OTK deck? Because I sure as hell don't. Also, that's a 15 mana combo, unlike the 8 mana warsong/patron combo.
The Malygos combo is also 15 mana, and is also not consistent.
Oh, and also, Patron could do upwards of 50 damage in ideal situations, which is what all of these situations mentioned are.

You're missing the point, it's not the OTK.
OTK is something you see in every card game,no big deal. Drawing half of your deck in one winning play that your opponent can't interact with - putting together the OTK pieces- : that is wrong. You are not allowed to do it in Magic, where your opponent can have 7 counterspells in his hand, no way it's gonna be allowed in HS where there's nothing you can do during your opponent's turn. They nerfed Buzzard and Gadgetzan, now Warsong commander which is insane with battle rage, and I totally think it's the right move.
