I'm wondering about your opinions on Control Warrior.
With Justicar, do you think it is worth to take out a Emperor T. or a Shieldmaiden for that card? Would that strengthen your matchups vs. control/aggro ?
I just played vs new p2w warrio similar like the old one but with bash and farian wrynn. I was winning got 100% hp and he uses his garosh and rag. Used 2x shiels slam and 1x egze. Then he use op 10 cost minion and game change badly (yesera, 1/4 shieldbuffer, boom). I cant kill him becouse he was on 16 hp and i was like 11 dmg on board. In hand frostball and water ele.
Wanted to clear something but nothing help. Next turn alex, nightmere and his sorry emote.
handlock fanboy confirmed, there are certain decks that counter certain decks, its how this game works. get over it.
How clever you are ! Handlock is not just countering ''certain'' decks. It's countering most of the decks. Bring your lil' Varian while I'm pressuring with Demons and Giants ha ha.

Justicar is really good against other control types.... except paladin, got dumpsterd by them. Even when I got Varian out got equality consecrated, other times there were just way too many dudes to deal with, the horror of dealing with two dudes a turn and that elf that makes more dudes from the dude button.
Ah, Control Warrior. The challenge has always been including enough early removal to slow the bleeding, enough mid game to force the opponent to address your board, and live long enough for your late game to shine.
Also, not starting with an entire hand of 6+ mana cards. That's a challenge. :-)
Once someone finds the appropriate mix of that for the meta, CW will be just fine again.

I think hes just referring to you making a post irrelevant to this thread, the op is talking about a card in cw not about match ups so your comment is out of place.
to the OP its not a must in cw i got it and been using it and only used it once so far so its not a necessity. Def replace a 6 drop most likely shieldmaiden. The thing with the card is often on turn 6 you are being defensive clearing things and after turn 6 you are playing big things instead. Still testing it though.

I don't like the hype around one late card that is win-more based.

I don't have that much trouble with Handlock to be honest. My winrate is pretty close to 50/50 against them, but I'm running black knight so that makes a huge difference.
As far as ET vs Shieldmaiden, I haven't run ET in a long time even before this expansion came out.
http://imgur.com/uQ62G7m this is what im running atm. Its working pretty good. Gorehowl and Upgrade feel nice, upgrade has saved me a lot by letting me destroy a lot of aggro, and against control allowing me to deal an additional 13 damage to face. (Alex -> upgrade on a 6 or 7 gore howl sets you up for some pretty easy wins.) I'm at rank 7 from 20 since yesterday.
The reason shieldmaiden is amazing is because it gives you burst heal that you can use immediately to both keep you alive as well as activate your shield slams. I know that is obvious, but it is an important thing to note! Justicar is super super cool and assuming you have time to activate it and then use your hero power minimum 3 times you are eventually going to gain a ton of benefit. But how often in hearthstone do you get the chance to play a minion that does basically nothing and dies for free without it being a major hindrance to your game plan? Right, almost never! Since hearthstone is just so aggro by nature I just cant see justicar being far superior in the long term. In heavy control metas you might be able to get away with it, but I worry that in general it will get you killed more often than it will save you.
Too early to make any meta call. People were saying something like 50% Priest meta couple days after G&G was released. After a month or so, Priest became like the bottom 3 class.

Remhouse, try to stay on topic bro. We KNOW you like handlock.
On topic, take out a shield maiden would be my advise, I'd also take out Thaurissian as well, he is good but control warrior doesn't need him as much as say patron. I'd sub him in with something like black knight or sylvanas.

I'm really hesitant to whether craft him or not.
Shieldmaiden because their effect rather similar
Don't know it's a bit too slow. Not sure if that's good for Control Warrior.
Kappa (because I'll get raged on if I don't add this)
No matter how good Control Warrior will be, Handlock (and DemonHandlock as well and even DragonHandlock) will always wait for it in the corner.

dont drop Emperor T. he'll help you play the beefy minions earlier.

Emperor doesn't belong in control warrior. You're doing it wrong.
It's workable but very far from optimal.

after trying it out i feel like double shieldmaden is just better and more likely to impact the game imo
