I've been having issues facing mill rogues outside my ranked deck (Sigma's ysera dream priest) specially with the handlock, are mill rogues the perfect counter to handlocks or is there a solid strategy against them?
I wouldn't say perfect counter, but yes, it can be favorable if you draw into your mill cards. recycle becomes mass kill with a full hand and I can cause handlock to draw into a bunch of destroyed cards.
I was playing mill rogue the other day because I was running into a lot of handlocks and I won 95% of my games against handlock once I switched. The loss I had was because I drew a bad hand and he dropped thaurisan on 6. The only real advise I have for you is don't play anything that draws you cards once you find out they are playing mill. Just play as many cards as you can a turn, even if it is normally a bad play like sunfury on an empty board you don't really need the taunt anyway.
Generally you play aggressively against rogue as handlock to begin with, so you shouldn't be filling your hand regardless of rogue type. Deathlords give you good cards most of the time that they are then forced to waste saps on early and if you play carefully during potentially devastating vanish turns you can generally give the rogue mediocre plays. Moltens are going to be tough to play as are the hell fires and shadow flames, so it's often ok to play greedy and allow your opponent to gain a board. Mill rogue is very draw dependent, so you may just win in the early game if they don't find cold lights when they are needed. Belchers and watchers are really annoying for your opponent to deal with and if you have ooze/harrison teched in you can often prevent some devastating blade flurries.
As a mill player my advice is to get a Twilight down early, even if it's just a 4/7, and keep the pressure up. Try not to hero power. If you see a rogue arm a weapon on turn 2 but just attack without buffing it, it could be a sign of mill. We usually will drop the first Coldlight when you are at 8 cards, so don't get there in a hurry. Always kill a BGH fast because I usually Gang Up on them against Handlock
So it seems to go down to playing the handlock slowly, not the way it was build to be; in that case mill rogues will win vs a handlock 8 out of 10 times, it is a great counter, I'm not sad about it, handlocks are a pain in the ass in against many builds

I see you want answers though. basically against mill rogue, use your hero power less, try to play on curve. That's all I got.
play the emtpy handlock, let the mill rogue fill it lol
