Number one is what absolutely fucks my next few games up most. It's the shitty attitudes people get when either making a good/lucky play, or won. "Sorry." "Sorry about that." "Thank you." "Sorry that happened." Seriously, why? How many times did you get fucked to where the 1 time shit plays in your favor in the last few days do you have to be a douchenozzle about it?
The next thing is simply happenstance, which... Well, happens. Not once, but twice today in ranked, I managed to get ragsniped right past no more, and no less than 4 minions. Fucking 1/5 chance, TWICE. Now I'm no math genius and haven't attended a single formal statistics course in my life, but that's seriously fucked up.
Thanks for this thread.

Well, it's highly unlikely but it's possible. Every pack has a chance of containing a legendary, may it even be 1%. This means that you've been in the other 99% for a very long time. Sad, but true. I've opened about 120 - 140 packs so far, and I got 7 legendaries total, I believe, which is like 1 per 20 packs.
I've opened 250 GvG packs (either bought or via Arena...I did a lot of arena when GvG first came out) and I've gotten 16 legends (3 of which are Golden). That averages out to about 1 in 15. I also got my first double Legendary pack a few runs ago. It's all RNG. The good news is that due to the law of averages, you should start to have much better luck in your next 250 packs ;-)
why does this shit have to happen all of the time in Hearthstone?
Because it was mostly designed as an afterthought to capitalize on the WoW brand name but the art / sound / programming team did such a good job with it that it got really popular.
Most of the card designs promote extremely high volatility which makes skill play a small role only. A single knife juggler flip can decide 100% of a match on turn 2. That's just as bad as it gets for design. This leads to most games being infuriating for the losing player.
Oh man I watched Xixo playing last night and he got out of his chair in a mad rage after his animal companion rolled misha, the only one that wasn't lethal. MAN XIXO, L2P NOOB.
Ben Brode and friends think this is "exciting" but the rest of the world knows this as "stupid". Of course they're happy because they probably all got a big fat bonus last year :D
Playing daily since september 2013, dropped several hundred euros on packs, no golden legendary yet.
I would be like whatever, golden legendaries are suposed to be super rare, right? But people here are like ´´Opened 150 GvG packs and only 2 golden legends??´´
So bored... So many fun decks but i lose ranks with them :/ switch to face hunter and get from 18 to 7 in just over 3 hours... but its boring to play this way. might need a break from hs.
is hunter OP? debatable... is it a class that rewards unintuitive deck design and play? yes.
I think you will be hard pressed to find a non-priest playing player who doesn't hate the class.
The only thing stopping it from becoming a major issue to make Undertaker look like no problem at all is the fact that despite it's horribly unfun mechanics, it remains "balanced" in terms of win rates. Never fun, but at least not overpowered.
If Priest was to become overpowered whilst running the card and minion stealing effects then it would be a huge issue. Imagine if Priest was as prevalent and had the win rate of pre-nerf UT hunter? How long would you stick around in that meta? No more than a few days is my guess.
Ah good! I'm not the only one. I can't stand Priest, never liked the class since start. it's slow, boring and feels cheap to me. I've tried to like it, I've played it here and there, hoping I'll feel different. But every time I face one, and hammer them down to nothing, only for them to pull off the usual miracle and heal back up and beat me back with my own cards ... I just feel contempt for them. Even if I could win every game using Priest I don't think I could play it, even the games you win will take about half an hour ... zzzzzzzz
Agreed, I hate playing against Priests - it's never fun. Stealing my dudes, auto-killing my big minions, etc... Plus games take forever. Don't mind the healing though.
Legendaries are 1 in 20 packs though.
I want Bolvar sooo bad for my Paladin deck, as I would replace Harrison jones for him if I had him. Some people get all the luck...
Two things I'm sure were already brought up here.

Be me playing Zoo. Enemy draws both Truesilvers, consecrates and an antique healbot.
Someone up there is shouting "JUSTICCCEEE" at me for playing aggro.
Mechs will not be nerfed until the next expansion. Calling it because you need to keep the wallets happy too.
Yeah, that's how it works.
It was sarcasm.
Feel free to add me if you play on NA! iMPose#1429

3 golden legendaries and 14 regular legendaries
estimated about 150-200 packs ... probably 2oo though
i opened 40 pakcs yesterday and i got Ysera and King Mukla ... i expected more tbh .
WTF

Slow and steady wins the game..
wow cant believe you guys put so much real money into a game like this, why?
Anyway the rant I need off my chest is fatigue decks, grrrrrrrrr
Yeah it was more the annoyance factor of them , tree of life when you are out of cards lol
So much money? Few drinks in a good bar cost more.

The spirits be restless, yo.
I use to play a lot of priest but the games are sooooooo long so even I started hate playing priest myself because the playstyle is so reaction-ary.
