So, I have noticed that Mal'Ganis is returning to the Core set this rotation. Combined with The Jailer...
??? Profit ?
If not a guaranteed win (since there are still cards like Whirlpool etc that will defeat it, it's got to be at least a fairly decent soft-lock (pun intended)
Unless I am missing something here, since fatigue damage won't hurt your hero if immune, as far as I am aware? Happy to be proven wrong here, of course...
They changed Immune to now be targetable. So single target removal now works on Immune minions. Just can't kill them with minions still.
So your theory works, but it's not the mindblowing combo it would be with old Immune.
Ahh I didnt know about the change to Immune. Makes it less good, definitely. But glad they made that change as it was something I hated about immunity before.

Are you sure? I just played a game against someone who played Jailer. It wouldnt let me target any of his minions with Power Word Death or some other spells either

I have been playing Jailer-Bolf in wild, and opponents have not been able to target my minions. Played it as recently as yesterday. Maybe immune changes are upcoming with the set release?

I haven't come across anyone playing the Jailer or other Immune minions lately so haven't tried it myself either.
It's a change in tooltip, not a change in functionality. I'm pretty sure this has happened before, with the tooltip change being reverted shortly after (it was a mistake).

That would be my guess as well since it's unannounced and just a change to the string. But maybe that is their intention and it will be changed for the next major patch.
And I also tried it yesterday when I came across an Onyxia and targetting wasn't possible.
The Immune keyword has cause bafflement to many since its inception, as it is awkwardly worded. With the tooltip change, it doesnt sound like this has improved that by much. (if at all) However, as someone earlier stated, perhaps it will be functionally updated with the next release, or something. We will have to wait and see.

Mal'Ganis can still be destroyed by non-targeted effects, but yes, that's a combo.

Maybe they thought they had fixed it but it didnt work? Heh!
Immune… no longer means immune? Haha good job again Blizz.

You can't target immune minions currently. No idea why I can't run my minions into immune minions.
