Acc from 2016 and saying something like this?`Dude. You really think people use bots to farm quests? People use bots to farm exp for the pass, before the pass, bots farmed for 10g/3 wins with "braindead" aggro decks. Do you really think, harder quests would change anything?
Im glad the quests are easy, I remember the times with "win 3 games as a druid"-quests, painfully if
1. You dont like playing druid 2. Druid doesnt have a good meta deck 3. You have no friends to play against to complete quests 4. Remember when you couldnt finish quests against friends? I member.
For the topic:
The reporting function is a joke, I wanted to report a bot in december and it was the first time I checked out the process. You have to write an email, give information like acc, region, time, etc -> someone has to read that mail, find the exact game and the ppl who participated in it etc. Can you imagine what a waste of time that is? They could use 5 hours or even less to code an ingame report function, saving all the information, but no, thats not the blizzard way. And yes, I know that the reporting function could be abused, but I assume you could even filter that. I dont think anyone right now will put so much effort n time into reporting a bot with the current system.
I don't see a reason to report someone because of they are waiting afk or using something like an autoclicker. They aren't doing anything wrong. They don't cheat, they don't abuse glitch or anything else. They're just waiting in their turn. Everyone has the same amount of time in their turns and they are free to do whatever they like.
That is the game, these are the rules. If they don't do anything against rules, why to report them? If they don't want to play any cards and lose, that is their choice and you should enjoy your free win. If you don't want to wait other players, you should consider to play against other players and maybe try to play solo.

Seriously?
The game is meant to be fun for humans to play and this detracts from that experience.
Since you are such a fanatic about ‘rules’… it’s against the terms and service to use a bot to play Hearthstone. So everything you said is nonsense and they should be reported.

Dude this isn't a bot. This isn't an automated software that plays cards in the place of you. It can't play/win any games or it can't make opponent lose. It doesn't hurt anyone. It is just an auto-clicker. Actually you can't even know that is an autoclicker. Maybe your opponent just chillin' on his desk, doing another work and presses "end turn" button.
The thing is, it doesn't matter that is autoclicker or real person afking. It is the same thing and there is nothing to report.

Ever since the change to the gold system these kind of matches have been on the increase...at low MMR in BGs much of the lobby is this shit, and on ladder, both wild and standard. I've seen people say on reddit they made like a extra 15000 gold..an extra 150 packs per season. IMO fuck that.
For one thing I play BGs a lot, I like to earn xp there. This keeps up i fear Blizzard will just pull xp gain from battlegrounds all together. Also it's simply not fair. Sure you are gaming the system, you aren't stealing from me or anything, but I resent your gains from gaming the system - you might see that as petty, and it is, but it is human nature - you end up with more rewards than someone who preorders a big bundle, or plays legitimately for hrs everyday. That is BS.

You're right but that is a different topic. In players' perspective, afk farming is not wrong or bad. This isn't a thing that should be punished.

My apologies, but I disagree with "AFK Farming" in a multiplayer game being acceptable. While you can do so without repercussions in PVE games, you are doing so against inanimate objects, not living people who are waiting for their opponent to engage in said game. The OP clearly had an issue with how they didn't even play a game of Hearthstone, they just waited for the timer to tick down every turn before finally beating the bot. There's no satisfaction in that win since you didn't even do anything skill intensive or skill testing - you just waited for the bot to time out and give you your free win.
Encouraging this behaviour is incredibly detrimental to the games health since it becomes less of a game about PVP engagements, and more of a waiting game for free rank, something incredibly unsatisfactory and disengaging

I really understand you. This is not good or joyful, totally agree but it is what it is. Blizzard says that game time means xp and naturally people wants to earn xp/gold so they are farming. This farming process might be boring or irritating but since isn't against the rules, we can't blame anyone for doing it. Hearthstone is a PvP game and if someone choose afk farming as their play style, we can't do anything. I think reporting them isn't true. It's their choice and I respect it. We can't treat them like a cheater or abuser. Actually developers encouraging this situation. They have to fix it.
auto hero power then rope every turn...
how and where do i report them or is it even worth reporting?
Developers' inability to balance is one thing; players choosing to abuse it is another.

That's your best bet. The more information you can give the better fro them.
If you see a bad post on the forum use the report function under it, so I or someone else of the moderation team can take care of it!
what a joke
Best case scenario, you’re working on an achievement, and bots are perfect. Usual scenario, fucking waste of time. And Blizzard doesn’t seem to care.
Take a walk on the wild side...
Maybe they shouldn't have trivial quests like this in the first place.

Not worth reporting, just get your free win and move on, don't think about it it's just wasting more of your time and they don't deserve it

One bot is one quest mage/warlock less.
Tis also one match closer to a Mage/Warlock
