Look at turn 7. The warlock literally used his turn and my turn with their animations (playing like 20 cards and drawing other 20). I've been waiting for my turn 2 minutes after their turn already finished, then I automatically rope and lost.
I prefer watching Twitch If I want to see other people playing... wake up Blizz.
Agreed, this doesn't feel good to be up against. One small tip against such apm decks is spam click on the cards they play on the top left to speed up animations so you don't lose your time and sanity

Yes! Thanks haha I use to do that but even doing it, they took like the 80% of my turn and of course, my sanity ^^
Animations could be easily 5 times faster, I have absolutely no idea why Blizzard insists on keeping them at a snail's pace. Of course their argument is that newer players wouldn't understand what's going on, but this could be solved by having a slider with "animation speed" in options. Keep 1 as the current speed and go up to 5 or 10 or whatever.
devs don't design metas, they design cards that may or may not become meta.
Besides that I actually like the current one as they use tons of new cards
After looking at the quest cards, the tempo of them, the ease at which they are achieved, I would say that they absolutely designed this meta, to do this accidently would be the worst kind of incompetence.

Just check this and tell me that this meta is fun, healthy, well-designed etc.

Well this has nothing to do with individual card designs but with the way the game handles animations, which they do nee to fix somehow, yes.
I mean as long as Shudderwock exists you can't really complain about any other card.

Not a problem with the card at all, the issue is with animations that can't be sped up as blizz just doesn't want us to, for some reason.

Stupid game designers. Nothing more to say.
Devs are also responsible for things like animations and how they interact with turn timers -- the actual topic of this thread.

Looks like a normal healthy warlock match. Whats your problem? /s
But but animations are important because children's card game, look at those flashy effects! /s

Casually draws 9 cards, clears 2x7 health taunt, plays 5 mana quest reward... at turn 7. It's like they let first-graders design the game ^^
