Every game vs a Priest takes 15 minutes or more. Even a bad one can stall until the decks go to fatigue. There are not reliable tempo decks to keep them in check/kill before 10.
Not to mention the infinite value generation, this is a tier 1 deck in standard (if it isn't obvious yet) but it makes the whole meta slower/stale. Only Warlock can reliably shut them out but even then Warlock can't climb because it sucks vs everything else.
I played 6 game against priest and win all the 6 game (ok, with priest too).
Priest is in a good spot, but mostly players are unable to play that class with decent winrate.
HSReplay tell us that is the worst class after shaman. Vicious syndicate tell us that control priest (best archetype for the class) is t3 at legend and diamond, and t4 on all ranks.
I enjoy playing priest and playing against priest, the winrate isn’t problematic and even the popularity isn’t problematic.
So for me is only a rant, whitout any reason behind.

I don't play much constructed at the moment, but even I know that this is simply not true.
Is hitting your opponent to death in the first 5-6 turns by completely ignoring everything they do more enjoyable to you than longer, more complicated games? Fair enough, but not imo.
OH WOW, LOOK ANOTHER PRIEST SALT THREAD! One of the worst classes in the meta after shaman but yes, priest is the problem with this meta lol. This is what i call Priest Derangement Syndrome, or PDS
Question. Do you post (rant) when you win too? Or just when you can´t win? Because, you know, by ranting you will not become a better player, just a better ranter...
I think the problem with the Meta is everything is face and Aggro and everyone is used to it. this guy probably gets rattled when someone takes more than 5 seconds a turn.
Priest hate is strong. I was sure warlock hate would take it over, but sadly warlock sucks unless facing priest.
I find it weird that folks equate short games with fun and long games with unfun. I like long games. I like having time to make dozens of decisions. I like getting a chance to play most or all of my cards. That is much more fun to me than 6 turns of fury to scoop up and do it again.
To each their own I guess. Im just always surprised how much most people value games being over quickly over games having a great deal of depth.

That is not true. Deathrattle Demon Hunter beats Priest almost 100% of the time, no matter how much greed they have in their deck. I won all of my games against Priest, Warlock and Control Warrior on my legend climb this season... Sample Size about 40 games with a 65% winrate.
And that is only one of many choices. Nzoth/Secret/Libram Paladin, Miracle Rogue and Rush Warrior all have decent chances to just kill the priest before they can stabilize. I have not even mentioned Mill Lock or OTK Demon Hunter. Both almost unwinnable for the priest if he does not hit the perfect Illucia. So just stop hating for no reason...

Tempo storm has them as tier 1 and if you play vs. a good one you'll see why. But even then balance aside, the bad ones can still make the games take forever. Hard to grind ladder when you run into a few of them and the games take forever

Sorry for my broken english.
Yeah pretty much. I just beat a bad one but it still took 20 minutes and only 4 cards left in deck. Just makes the meta boring

Every warlock and every paladin wins against, priest is boring and disgusting to play against but isnt the problem of this meta.
The problems are all the 3-4 tier 1 paladin decks with nearly 60% WR each and highroll mage
That's kind of what priest has always been, right?
Yes, priest is the problem with the meta..

Lol there is a salt thread for this dude

Lol no. The problem is that there is to little of these kind of decks becuase aggro has been WAY to good for years now.
Bro, you have no clue about the meta......games take time to plsay and your complaining about that? Get over yourself and get gud!!
I don't know to break this to you lightly, but Priest is not what's making this meta unplayable...
(tbh the lack of card diversity is what's making this meta awful across the board, which is to be expected with the first expansion of the year.)
Perfect post for the salt thread.... Why do people refuse to use that? It's there for a reason....

standard is unplayable because of shitty ass paladins :) Priest is fine... what do you expect ? Priest going aggro style??
