more randomness = more fun
competitive mode and mood in this game is just a delusion sometimes illusion other hallucination,it depends on the hours you spend clicking to prove your self that its not a delusion.
Ps. I like the game as it is, its a random fiesta, always been, and a nice way to relax but you just need to not buy the crap about skills and deep thinking about playing around......playing around what exaclty? play some chess or Go and then reconsider the '''play around'' meaning
This is all cool, but some people actually want to reach Legend once in this game.
Pendling around between rank 2 and 5 for half a month straight because you can't break even due to the fixed matchmaking in ranked is not fun, and will never be funny.
You could argue that "why don't you then just hire a booster?" doing all the climbing for you and getting you that desired cardback, but that would not exactly fill myself with satisfaction after like 5 years of trying to get there and fail each and every month.
Blizzard has to monitor the amount of times that one gets outcountered in matchmaker already as well as improve ranked Rewards.
Cry me a river. That sounds like you just don't play well, if you can't hit legend.

Every meta has several threads like this, lol. I doubt anyone who have played for 4+ years will call this the worst meta ever, in Wild nor Standard. Some tough ones to beat:
Pirate warrior/Aggro Shaman at WSOG release, featuring pre nerf Patches the Pirate, Spirit Claws and Small-Time Buccaneer.
Pre-nax 2-mana Unleash the Hounds also featuring pre-nerf Starving Buzzard. No class has ever dominated winrates across the board that badly, with both face and midrange hunters being completely OP compared to anything else.
Nax pre-nerf Undertaker meta, where every class were forced to play a deathrattle package or lose the game. Hunters dominant again, but zoo was also very strong.
Jade druid meta featuring 5-mana Spreading Plague.
The release of Demon hunter was also pretty bad, but the nerfs happened so fast it barely qualifies as a "meta" imo.
I do remember spreading plague being a thing at one point when I played. Definitely match changing.
you mentioned hunter being crazy with 2 mana hounds. Hunter always seems to be something that finds a place in every meta from what I can tell. Agree or disagree?
Nah, that's Rogue you're talking about. Hunter had some very bad months.

Fuck. I really enjoyed the content between Kobolds & Catacombs and Saviors of Uldum. Now we've had boring, static, single player content twice in a row.
I was hoping they'd stick to the "rogue-lite" format since it offers so much replayability.

Biggest news first: Priestess of Fury is too slow. There is no point in running her anymore.
I really hated the pirate package, so i put other good one drops in that put our opponents under alot of pressure.
Flex Spots are the Shadowhoof Slayer and Blowtorch Saboteur. But especially the Saboteur proved better than any other tech option, because of it's good matchups against the mirror/ all even decks and even against mages (they cant ping off the 2/1s and that adds up).
Besides that i want to highlight all of the freeze minions (Glacial Shard and Frozen Shadoweaver , because that can cause our enemies a lot of trouble removing our key minions. But playing them on curve without any value is not the worst either. That's what makes tham strong.
Last but not least i included the Happy Ghouls again, because tempo and possible highrolls are what we need with this deck. There is no card that could even close to this in terms of utility and synergy with the deck. SN1P-SN4P or Vicious Fledgling are fine, but do not synergize or help as much.
I did not include the silence (Consume Magic) nor Mana Burn anymore. Two Reasons for that: First - Because of the lower risk we cant risk drawing a card that just stalls (ideally we beat Reno decks before they can drop him) and second - It's not what we want to play in the early turn and it takes up a deck slot instead of a useful early game minion. And that is the reason why i dropped Loatheb too, it was just too costly (especially against pirate warrior/other aggessive decks and sat too long in my hand against control to just disrupt 1 turn.
