Only two work days have passed since new progression system launched, so let's give 'em a bit more time to check things out before voicing out their opinion.
Just for the record, I couldn't care less about what any of the Hearthstone biggest streamers have to say about it or whether they will say anything at all. New system sucks and it needs some major fixing.
Just for the record guys: none of the BIG GUYS (Kripp, Trump, Kibler) Just put it out here kripp stopped playing constructed and arena he plays bgs and mostly duels when it comes out. He also is a streamer who streams a lot of hours. Normal people don’t play this for that long . Hell I can only take a hour of this game cause the player base is dumber than box of rocks . When I am getting at is kripp doesn’t need the gold he will probably just buy packs and bundles so the gold issue for him nothing.
I am very mad not also for the lie but for the Hearthstone's price.
Pre-order + Pass + middle pre-order every 4 months. Hearthstone can cost 100€ every 4 months, so 400€ per year without having the full collection. Blizzard is mad.

Told ya, blizz out to milk the whales and try to pick up a few spenders out of the f2p's while alienating the rest. This is what a game looks like when the devs are just trying to get as much cash out of it as they can before it dies.
At this point this is just funny. Who would have thought some fake currency in a digital game could cause so much chaos.
It's in the context of the game being a massively over-priced, loot box fiesta for many years. I guess people have finally had enough of getting scammed?
Lmao. Hearthstone is probably third in most generous CCGs in existence my dude. It's not even close to overpriced.
When I played Yugioh I spent more on one set than I do in an entire year in Hearthstone, and that was to make a single Tier 2/3 deck versus the 10 or 11 I can make in HS every expansion.
You must be in what, 10th grade?
Are you talking about paper version or online?
Paper version. I tried playing the online version but it would have still cost 100+ to make one decent deck and I wasn't willing to make that investment.

Kripp has literally already said he doesn't like it though? The new system is in fact bad for heavy players, it's just good for average players

As a former YGO player i can say that this is false, YGO was cheaper than HS because you can trade your cards, i know this by experience , if you did good trades you didn't even need money,i.e. before Solemn Judgment was meta i had 15 in my collection, same for other cards, one time i trade a rare shiny spell for a Dark Armed Dragon lol... anyway i do think that HS WAS fairly cheap before the new system, as a F2P player i always open 100+ packs per expansion and i have no problem playing almost every meta deck, but now unless i play 8 hrs/day i will only get 80 or so, i played Runeterra for a month or so and it was more generous than HS
TF are you talking about? Of course you had 15 Solemn Judgment in your collection, it was banned for years and there was a Common version out in 2012, that doesn't mean anything.
And what in the world do you mean a "rare shiny spell"? I pulled a Dark Armed Dragon from a pack at a sneak preview and IMMEDIATELY sold it for $100.
That aside, you realize that to trade cards, you have to own those cards right? And that means you have to buy packs? And spend money? No one is going to trade a card for less value than it's worth, so if you want to trade for a $50 card, you need at least $50 of value to trade for that card.
Anyway, you claim you open over 100 packs each xpac. That's extremely unlikely, because that would mean that you would have to be winning at least six games every single day for 4 months straight just to hit 100, meaning you're spending at least an hour and a half to two hours every single day playing Hearthstone. Why do people make up such silly lies?
And Runeterra is definitely worse than HS because it takes ages to get hero cards and you need 2-3 of each one for one deck, before you even get into the cost of other cards.
Told ya, blizz out to milk the whales and try to pick up a few spenders out of the f2p's while alienating the rest. This is what a game looks like when the devs are just trying to get as much cash out of it as they can before it dies.
Keep in mind though, that there are still people defending Blizzard and claiming that HS is cheap and anyone who thinks otherwise is whiner.

Just think about it, after level 50, you need 4500xp per day to get 150 gold. you think ooh that's 50gold more than I could earn. But noo, because there is no way you can earn 4500xp in one day unless you spend a crazy amount of time.
Basically 12hours!! Remember when you could get 30 wins with an agro deck in a matter of hours?? Not possible anymore! Time is money, and they are making us work twice as hard now (12/4500XP= 12,5gold per hour!) This is a lot less than before guys!
And this is based on the 400XP per hour they said we are getting, which is also not true. You deliberately don't see your XP gain! They don't want you to see this bar except when it feels good and moves to a reward! Because noticing how little progress you make filling it after your games would make you feel bad. So, rather than fix the system to help make the game feel better, they try to hide the bad parts.

" In the beginning, there was nothing, which exploded."
Anyone defending Blizzard and Activision on this one should (no jokes) be checked out for some mental damage because that's literally like saying "One apple is the same, if not better than, 2 apples".
I'm positive that people who defend Blizz can't be THAT stupid, but live a rather boring life, so the thrill that they get from these discussions is fueling their day. This blatant lie is literally Blizzard telling you "Ok you f*cking idiot. Now I will give you LESS rewards, and give you the false illusion that I'm giving you MORE rewards. And you are gonna suck it up like a bitch. Ok?"

I think the amount of people who actually think that is rather small, there are some highly vocal people who are paid to say that and give the impression that people think that.

Lmao what a ridiculous conspiracy theory
Companies dont pay people to go forum troll dude. That makes no sense.
HS isn't cheap, per se, but the only ccgs on the market with a better monetization model are maybe Gwent and to some extent Runeterra.
I believe it has a fair cost for what you're getting. You can play HS entirely f2p and I did for over 5 years, I only started buying last year because I started making more money and could afford it.
They've even been adding more and more extras to the preorder bundles over time, as well as handing out free cards and packs like candy, even entire free decks.
Things that Blizz has added over the course of the game:
Pack reward quests
Guaranteed legendary in 1st 10 packs
Free legendary every xpac
Increased gold rewards from quests
Free singleplayer content, that in many cases awards packs
Free additional game modes
Entire current meta decks for new and returning players
An entirely new class that you get the whole set for free
Etc etc.
What exactly are you expecting from.a free to play game? Do you expect to be able to have a meta deck of every class or something? I mean dont get me wrong I would love that, but it's not realistic.

They've added a bunch of ways to get more rewards, which is great. However, the game has become more expensive to play over the years, which you should also consider:
They removed a yearly adventure and added a new expansion per year.
They added adventures back on top of the 3 yearly expansions.

Expansions will now have 25% more cards.
They didn't "remove a yearly adventure", they had a weird rotation that alternated and meant that in 2015 they only released 180 cards which made the meta stale as hell. And they stopped doing adventures back in 2016, literally 2 years after the game started. The game was never "one adventure per year".
Your points of "they added adventures back" and "expansions will have 25% more cards" are at odds with each other. Galakrond's Awakening gave you all the new cards just for playing the adventure; and they didn't put any mini sets in Outland or Scholo, nor have they said this is going to be every set going forward. Maybe it will in fact suck, but we can't make any actual statements on it without real info.
That aside, adding more cards doesnt change the game significantly for F2Pers. You're still getting the same amount or more than you previously were, and can still build the same number of decks. Having more cards available in total doesn't change that.
I said that a lot on these first days and lots of white knights and credicard's sons flaming a lot of my and similar users posts. Even an admin also posted something about this new system being better than before with a total poker face. Who they think they are?

I hope this change will get rid of all the toxic players. I for 1 will judge it at the end to see if it was more or less enjoyable.
I will never understand, how you guys can say, time is money when you play a game. It's a game, not work? Srsly, I just don't get it...

The one change they should definitely do is replace the level 48 year of the dragon card pack to 400 gold!
The previous five ranks had 900 gold this would mean getting 1000 gold for these five ranks.
