Well, I do enjoy playing priest as it suits my slow and methodical mind and I don't have the nerves for the high pressure of aggro or combo decks, but the downside, is priest definitely gets to experience the full spectrum of meme decks and wild combos that anyone cares to throw together. I just played a mage and had em down big, but man, the Solarian (sp?) just kept coming. 7 in total (thought I had him when I stole 2 and silenced 2, but nope, given time, mage can generate sooooo much. The evocation and apprentices got a bit much too. 5 apprentices in the game and 11 evocations. Fair is fair and that's what the mage is about these days, but I gotta say, when playing evocation and generating 5 or 6 cards, it's weird how many 1mana spells there always seem to be. Sigh, anyway, I just don't enjoy playing other decks right now so will keep on with the priest, but sometimes I envy the faster decks that can just finish someone off when they have em on the ropes.
Evocation can also generate 6+ < mana spells for 9 cards, that happens as often as that you get 1 mana spells. In my experience, mage beats: priest, paladin, shaman, warlock with not much sweat 60 to 65% winrate. Rogue, DH, druid and warrior very hard 40% winrate for my mage. Almost unbeatable is face hunter for mage, I would say 10% to 15% winrate. In the end the total somehow manages to keep my mage at 50% winrate. The moment I have 55% winrate I know my evocation is going to give me at least 5 spellbender secrets and 3 elemental allies and a arcane intellect. :-)
how can u even post complains like these as a priest player? i mean, having 3+ murozond's, reliquaries or lazul's in a game is ok but a mage generating their sh1t time and time again is not? dude, let's stop pretending...HS is a sh1tshow and that's how ppl like it i guess (otherwise it would be seen in Bli$$ revenues)....
Lol, plays one of the most hated classes that can have an answer for every scenario. Complains another class is currently doing it better with RNG. Okay buddy 👌.

didn't complain my friend. I described. I also stated that I'm okay with it, it's part of the circle of life of the game. I applaud the aggro just fine.
yeah, very true. It's all about matchups. I just accept that mage isn't a favourable matchup. I wasn't even mad, just stating how many of the same cards were generated. Was remarkable and worth sharing. I thought.
This OP isn't a complain amigo. The main point I guess was that every deck has challenges and wanted to share how remarkable a game I had with a mage. Priest has tons of randomness to it too. Was just a wild amount of the same couple cards.
didn't complain. shared a wild game detail is all. I don't hate any class. That would be classist :). But fully aware of the feelings on priest which is one of the reasons why I don't complain. Main reason being it would be a waste of time.
Overall, I gotta say this post is misunderstood. Would have liked some shared stories of crazy generation, but seems to be too much bitterness on the subject. Fair enough.
I'm not sure what you're trying to say - you like slow methodical control play but you wish you could close quickly too? I mean priest is out and out value gen and control right now. Of course it won't have a knockout blow. It was crazy when priest could control and combo in the same deck, I remember running that dragon mind blast thing and it was like taking candy from a baby. You'd lose against warrior and everything else was ridiculously easy.
I said that because of the slow control method that I prefer, I sometimes envy the aggro who get to finish quickly. I don't enjoy playing the aggro style, so I'm not asking for it or anything for priest. Each class for better or worse is what it is and I'm glad each is unique. I should have articulated better in my original post, but was just saying essentially how it's funny that we often want what we don't have. That's all.
I hate playing priests so much I insta concede against them (and I'm definitely not the only one doing this) and now I see 1 of these degenerates complain? What's so fun or interactive about playing a basilion Convincing Infiltrators and boardclears?
I think priest really needs a serious overhaul because the way it plays now is 1 of the most frustrating and unfun things to deal with. As long as priest plays as it does I'm all for it being bad and if you ask me HS development are free to nerf some of these annoying cards to the ground.
I think you need an overhaul of your mindset. You clearly think you should win all the time and only you are allowed to complain. This is truly a complaint. My post is not. Get some therapy and try to find some happiness in life.
Quite the opposite of "nowadays" I'd say. Most people I encounter these days don't have a ton of patience and prefer a faster style. That's fine. I prefer a slower game style. To each their own don't you think? Have to learn how to get along with people you don't agree with and play games (or business) that don't always suit your style.
If you have to post multiple times on end that you aren’t “complaining” then guess what....
“The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”
Guess what? That I'm wrong and I don't know what I was writing? Or that one genius after another put words and tone in my mouth that I didn't say or have. It's fair to say that tone is always the hardest part of writing something as without it people can misinterpret someone's words, but to continually say that you know how I feel about something because you yourself feel a certain way isn't very intelligent. The hostility is just so wasteful. But, even though I'm wasting my time replying to those that feel they have to attack an opinion, I guess it's helpful to me so next time I post something I can try to make my tone more clearly understood along with my words. So, thank you.

There is a salt thread for these stories bro

Also, I'm playing control priest and I often have opponents concede on turn 7 - 8 when there's a flurry of plays and they realise they've lost.

This is how "being a disease for the game" its called nowadays?
