Wait a moment. So you are complaining about a -2/-2? Dude. I built a deck with her and it‘s finally playable. Prenerf: Turn 10: Archmage Willow and nothing else. Nowadays Turn 10: Quest-Lifetap into Twisting Nether into Bordclear into this piece of witch (*haha) into 20/20 of stats. I really don‘t know why you are complaining about that. Be thankfull, that they changed the cost of this card, that this legendary Is finally playable and don‘t argue about dustrefound you greedy son of a witch (*haha) (Don‘t take the last joke to serious, thx. i love bad jokes.)
deck is dead b4 it took off xd. even a memer like me won't go with star aligner warlock lul. altho it may work, can pull out 5/7. Bro, i am rooting for you to pull it off.
You play that card for the Battlecry, not for its own stats, though I do agree -2-2 looked too harsh. 6/6 Would've been fine.
Anyway, the card will be in Standard for 4 more sets (plus a Classic/Basic rework), so there's still plenty of time for it to enable a powerful deck. A lot of cards find their power much later in the Standard cycle's lifespan than when released.
Does anyone remember how terrible release Galakrond Priest was, or Mountseller being used during Uldum? Heck, Bloodreaver Gul'dan couldn't see play until Kobolds and Catacombs release.

OP doesn't play the card, doesnt even own the card, just wants a platform to publically whine and fill their diaper. Ffs.
Standard isnt perfectly willow oriented, but in wild she was good even at 9 mana (I used a heavy demon deck with her in mid tier legend with decent success). Admittedly losing the odd cost makes baku variants unplayable which worked okay with skull of manari, but now shes an even cost which slots into the bloodreaver guldan/voidcaller archtype and will work perfectly fine.
Her power level will likely increase over time in standard, and will creep even more in wild.
Edit:
To put my money where my mouth is, I just made an even-demon based warlock deck and ran a few games in legend with even more success than expected. Willow is a great card, 8 mana is a definite buff. Actually very excited now that I opened a golden Willow.
It turns out that this card is now insanely good in Quest Warlock. It allows you to pull out your missing Lord Betrug for the same cost he would normally be so you can follow up with a deck shuffle to board clear and heal. And usually also another solid taunt demon minion to make sure you're not left high and dry by bad RNG from it. If Willow had still been 9 mana, this would have not been possible. The 2/2 of stats don't seem to make virtually any difference to the strength of her ability.
Early days yet (and the deck results by no means large enough to make a proper analysis), but ~10 wins on the trot against Druids, Paladins and Rogues makes me happy at least. :-)
I crafted a golden Cabal Acolyte to gain some dust, how come I didn't get any dust back?

Rip my star aliner warock. it is totally unacceptable. blizard.
That only happens with HoF rotations. You can't earn dust by crafting with nerfs.
You did not lose anything, though. Just DE it while you can.
