I used to buy the expansion bundle and one more smaller bundle for every expansion but after the price increase 3 years ago I have stopped buying them. It does not matter how many additional bonuses you get with the bundle I am never going to pay more than £34.99 for the expansion bundle. It is already expensive as it is seeing as 40/50 packs will only get you a fraction of what you wanted but I would pay that as I played the game a lot. I won't go higher though so £44.99 is a no go. They have lost hundreds of pounds in sales from me by that increase.
Luckily I have still been able to get good enough decks through quest gold packs and saved dust which is carefully spent. Just not a full roster of decent decks like before.
i preorderd the big bundle, my first preorder since last year. i will also probably buy 60 packs with gold (only if i miss a lot, still have 33k dust), so i will open ~145 packs
This is the first time in years that I haven't bought the pre-order the day it became available. Just haven't had the time. I've also only played 2 games of BG the last month and a half. I will probably buy one of the bundles this weekend, likely the big one. I'll be vacation next week so I'll have some free time to play a bit. I like the dual class concept, keen to see how that pans out.
Big Pre and then maybe around 80 packs with gold. Due to dusting all wild and gold cards im sitting on 60k dust. So actually i dont need the prorder but...... just can afford it and like the Kael. And with amazon coins you get coins worth 100 Euros for around 80. Thats ok.
Rly dont understand people posting like: i‘d never pay for this shit. JEEEEZ why you even play it? Thats is simply pathetic. Paying for something you like isnt.
Planning to buy the 80€ Mega Bundle plus up to another 80 packs with gold.
Only started playing the game early last year. Was completely F2P until last week when I purchased the Welcome Bundle for 5€. I picked up Brightwing as my legendary, but also a first Brawl and second Twilight Drake - both of which I suspect will come in useful.
Began the current expansion playing a fun, fairly aggressive stealth and secret Rogue before switching to Spell Druid and Tempo DH for a couple of months. The last month has mostly been a Highlander DH running Zephrys, Kayn, Metamorphosis, DQA and Nethrandamus. Would like to experiment with a wider range of decks in the upcoming expansion.
I've banked slightly over 8,000 gold (collected since AoO launched) and approaching 5,300 dust. Still need to check if I have a few extra goldens to dust. Might buy Galakrond's Awakening if its adventure cards still seem relevant a few weeks into SA.
I agree with the F2P guys in this forum: resource management is part of the game for me, just spending real money on a perfectly free game makes no sense and would ruin the experience (all from a very personal point of view). Yes, I have money: I work for my government and the virus had 0 impact on my finances, but why on earth would I spend real money on a free game?
Anyways, to those who do, thanks for your donations. Reaching legend as F2P while knowing people spending real money struggle at diamond feels very, Very, VERY good.
Pre order packs, save 3k gold I got for a few weeks to see how the meta looks and go for a few tier 1 decks. I'll only spend the gold later when I see what I dont have to what I actually need.
Thanks to the players who spend money in the game you can play for free, so be thankful instead of being so rude.
Thankful? Surely you must be joking. If this trashheap burns to the ground and gets shut down, I'll just play something else.
The paypigs can waste their money if they want to, I couldn't care less.
None

Missing lethal since June 2015.
Only 20 with gold, because all the time of AoO I was just buying Descent of Dragons adventure wings :(
Enough to get all legendaries

When can we open packs?
About 70, all from gold.

Maybe spend 2k so i will have enough dust for few years
are these manz gonna give us some free packs this time around?? like 3 packs on the house. big up myself.
As a F2P, just about 15 packs. It's the most gold i've saved for an expansion, thanks to the pack changes.
Wait what am I supposed to write here again
Zero, nil, none...
Dead but dreaming

No
I treat buying expansions as buying a new game. $90 for a game that is good for 4 months is not bad.
85 from preorder and 70 from gold.
Everyone gets a free legendary and 6 SA packs through quests.
