around 10-15, I always have a problem with saving gold between expansions(constant buying packs for little to no value....I NEED HELP) and only manage to actually save anything about 2 weeks before launch :(
Never win anything, but I shall continue praying on twitter giveaways until such a time comes when I Iearn self control. Other than that, none, I have no money so golds my only way to get packs.
After AoO i decided to never spend money again (I didn’t preorder it anyway). So about 30-35 packs for gold, farming from moment they revealed it will be Scholomance :D
Every time a F2P player chimes in about "spending money" that I make on a game that they leech off of.........
It's fine if they just aren't spending money. I remember being a poor university student, and I have a few cheap friends haha. It is what it is.
It's the f2p players who are all like "I don't spend money so I'm better than you and you're an idiot" who are the real problem. They're too ignorant to realize that they're poor haha.
If you've been playing for 5 years like me, you don't have to spend money because i can craft everything i want.
When I started playing this game back at launch in 2014, I was a college student working two part time jobs just to get by. I had little disposable cash, but had time in between assignments/shifts to grind.
Six years on, I have advanced in my career and am lucky enough to have reasonable disposable income. My job has required me to move interstate and is quite time intensive (12 hours days managing large projects). Having played hearthy for 6 years and with little spare time, I no longer have the luxury or desire to grind - preferring to play fun, junky combo decks. New expansions are also a way that I bond with my old friends from back home.
I used to be F2P, but I never understood the mentality of F2P snobs. If you want to play for free...fine...that doesnt make you morally superior. It just means you weigh up the time/$$ cost and decide to pay for hearthy with your time (in your situation $$ are more valuable). Other people weigh up the same variables and choose to pay $60 bucks for an expansion, because time is more valuable. Neither way is right or wrong. Neither makes you better.
...and Ill be getting 80 packs (gold and preorder).
I'll never get over how vitriolic people are towards those who spend money on this game. You do know the money spent on Hearthstone is the only reason the game continues to exist, yes?
In any case, I was in the habit of buying around 300 packs between the pre-orders and regular bundles because that is, give or take, what is required to get a full set plus a few choice golden crafts.
Over some of 2018 and all of 2019, I had some bad luck in the real world and couldn't afford to spend any money, so I made the rational decision to stop spending.
Now, things are back on track, I have more disposable income than ever before, and I love the lore of this year's sets so far, so I'll probably buy 400 or so and start working on full golden decks.
Helpful Clarification on Forbidden Topics for Hearthstone Forums:
Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.

Enjoy the lifeblood infused into the game.
I don't get it either. Imagine how quick this game gets shuts down if everyone decided to go F2P? Thank goodness there are adults around to make sure the kids still ride free.
That being said, I make it a point to buy both the bundles. So I'm sitting at 140 packs. I never have any gold since I buy a pack or two a day from wins depending on how long I feel like playing. I never grind more than I want to.

Pfff I honestly don't know this time. I usually buy the big x-pac but lately I'm a little worn out with ladder and play BG's.
However, I'm getting sick and tired of all seeing 3 to 4 players going for Murloc and one of them always winning the game, while the dev's don't take any actions.
Most likely I will buy the large x-pac again but I'm slowly starting to grow into other games too...

I won't buy packs because they gave shitty cards to Priest :( 😡😡😡

But keep believing f2p'ers are poor people :)
Enough with the off topic debates and personal attacks. Stay on topic, how many packs are you going to buy for Scholomance.

I've got 140 packs waiting for me and 5000 gold saved up... I like the cards so far, looks like a good expansion.

Bought both bundles. Plus another 100 packs with gold I’ve saved up since last expansion.
