And I still think it's incorrect to say it's a bad keyword when your complaint is actually just that it's overused. Any keyword would get annoying if we saw too much of it.

I never said it was bad. And your adressing my point actually because I was getting annoyed of rush and was curious for other opinions.
I love Rush. I think there're some imbalanced rush cards, but I love the keyword and I think it put slower hunter decks on the map. I'd love to see it on more priest cards, honestly.
I don't really get why Warrior has so many Rush cards AND so many board clears, but that's neither here nor there.
In my opinion ALL CHARGE should go ot in to the wild or should be change in to the RUSH. Especiall Leeroy (I hate him so much! go to the wild you jerk!) Rush it's a balanced mechanic and you can answer on it. Charge it's fking op bullshit without any time to answer.
The issue is that Charge had actually quite a penalty on it, NOT WITHOUT REASON. Look at the charge-minions we have, they have all either extreme low health to easily remove them or does have low attack and making them useless.
Rush doesn't seem to have this penalty at all, and that's quite a mistake. It shouldn't have the penalty charge has (around 2 1/2 mana just for the keyword), but it should have at least a 1 1/2 mana penalty. Rush is as op as charge, just not so threatening to the face.
The issue with rush (if there is one) is that most of the minions don't seem to be costed for rush. It's kinda being treated like it's a free attribute when in reality is should lead to a couple of points off the stats. I think it's a necessary keyword in a game where outside of a large AoE spell there's very little you can do to swing the game back.
I would say that the current set has released far too many of them though and this is coming from a player who plays mainly control style decks (which I think benefit from rush on the whole). I suspect the current dislike of rush stems from a single card - Faceless corrupter. A stupid and vastly undercosted card that's so OP even whisps are coming back into the meta... Sure you need a minion on the board, but assuming you have one you can attack with it AND get two 5/4's with rush for 5 mana. Someone was smoking something the day that card was conceived. The only question is why it wasn't an epic or legendary - much money in OP cards

Charge is fine on expensive minions. Which is where it belongs. Leeroy could probably have his attack and mana cost raised so he's less of a mid-range finisher card alongside other cards and more of an end-game win condition. Or you could make him a rush minion I guess, though I don't think that'd work with the way he's designed.
Rush's cost varies wildly. It's generally costed at about the same rate as Taunt is, and serves a similar (albeit more proactive) purpose. It also is on cards that can really exploit it to an unreasonable degree. (i.e. Restless Mummy)
I liked it when it first came out, Rush is an excellent mechanic. The issue is that with the last 2 expansions almost everything has rush on it. It's getting a bit overused. Value trades have become almost pointless when 70% of the minions seeing play have rush attached to it. I think Blizzard should remember that this thing called TAUNT still exist and it would be nice to see a few more of those. I also thing Lifesteal is fantastic effect that hasn't been very utilized lately.
I don’t mind rush. Most of the mana costs and stats are fair. The only busted ones are the restless mummy and scion of ruin (when invoked twice). They get 6/4 for 4 mana and 9/6 for 3 mana respectively which is insane. Shirvalah is also pretty busted but it’s a legendary with special conditions so it’s acceptable...usually

Well, you got my opinion.
