In Chess, players can agree to a draw at anytime during the game. Alot of times, its used when the game state is equal, and players can get their half point and move on to the next game.
So, why not for Hearthstone now that we have Control Warrior/Shaman/Archivist decks so commonly used? Like, maybe u dont feel like playing a 45 min game with ending decided on RNG most of the time. Allow us to agree to a draw, NO STARS gained, and move on to the next game?
I know some people might try to cherry pick their matches by constantly drawing, but you could set a limit to the amound of draws allowed each season or something.
Just a thought I had. I think alot of people would like the feature. Thoughts?
I'd rather they fix the problem - that games are being dragged out to the point of a draw in the first place - than include a band-aid fix.
I dont see Draw game as a band aid at all. I like long games. However, not all the time, especially if I am doing a quick quest. To each their own! Thx for yout thoughts
The problem is that offering a draw shows weakness, so people would never accept it, because they’re trying to kill you. Imagine this: “Hey, my hand is good enough to match you, but I don’t want this game to go on, so can we just draw?” Would you agree to that?
in chess you can see the board state and all of your pieces and your opponent pieces, the decision to draw is a decision based on the information available to all players
in Hearthstone you can only see your cards, you have no idea what cards does your opponent have and if they are playing a control deck they most likely that playstyle and they will never accept the draw
and you by offering the draw are showing that you don't feel like you can win, at least that's how it might be interpreted
it will never happen as it's completely unnecessary
People play these decks because they like long games. If they don't like long games, it's self-inflicted misery and not the game's job to offer an escape.
I do NOT agree that you should keep your stars for agreeing to draw. If you are tired of playing, you should:
concede
accept the loss of a star or legend ranking
stop playing decks that can lead to extremely long games

I would never choose a draw if I had even a chance of outlasting my opponent. Fatigue games can lead to wins by mere slivers of health, and going infinite with annoying combos like Brewmaster and Archivist are problems that need to be addressed more directly. We don't need a in game option to agree to a draw, we need a correction to specific card interactions.

It could be secret, one player click draw button, but other player doesn't know, after second player click draw button, game ends.
terrible idea

Hit concede button or do not play lame decks.
