Being on the receiving end of big mana cheating minion bombs such as playing 4 6 cost minions, or having your board wiped by sticky Rush minions that have deathrattles - no counterplay to that, especially since we're losing a bunch of board clears.
Of course, if you're the one playing it, you get a sudden rush of satisfaction, but this just removes the fine control of trading and value from the game.
Murloc Shaman looks to be really scary, mainly because of all the refill it gets while being a very snowbally deck with a strong finisher in Bloodlust...basically a roided up Token Druid without the ramp.
Worst case I'll have to bring out our lord and saviour Hungry Crab so I guess it won't be that bad
I'm also kind of worried that Burgle Rogue now has too many tools, although they are still fairly inconsistent.
Just because of the crabs existence I don't think Murlocs will bring back the Aggro Shaman reign of terror. Also, don't forget that Thrall has probably the worst card draw out of all classes (except for Hunter) and there will be Rush Warrior, ready to eat any kind of aggressive, minion-based deck for breakfast.
I was around the last couple of times silence priest was a thing, this variant doesn't bring anything new to the table.
Secret paladin is a bit different than before, but how special can aggro get?
Token druid same story.
Murlocs do what murlocs do.
Warrior gets no tools that are all that good, meaning more mechs, dragons and rush.
I hope new decks like bomb warrior pan out, but my fear is that we enter an era of more of the same. I hope thief rogue will be good, since that's a fun deck that doesn't really get boring.
Resurection priest in wild... its going be EXTREME annoying. if you thought killing 5-7 obsidian statues. Wait for the new cards. Its gonna be a shitfest
1. token druid (not the aggro kind): with most aoe’s rotating out, the hand-based token Druid has an average of 70(!) minions you will need to clear throughout the game, averaging about 4/turn after turn 5 or so. That’s spooky. Each turn you don’t clear them, you risk them getting buffed up to a total potential of +8/+8 (+6/+6 more realistic), but also savage roar as well. This version probably won’t see play the first week, the initial version will be more aggro, but this version will smash during a lack of aoes.
2. Murloc shaman: putting this instead of secret pally, while I understand how insane the nut draw is for secret pally, I don’t see it being consistent with a way to finish the game, so I think murloc shaman will be stronger. Again, this is mainly because of the lack of aoe. With new murloc cards (add a murloc to your hand being much more important than the legendary), the deck now gains consistency with both a bloodlust and/or direct damage spell finishers. If you can do 20 damage with murlocs, you win the game. It’s not hard to do 20 damage with murlocs.
3. Tempo rogue: those living the dream of this value go forever somehow without managing to die rogue will quickly realize their deck dies to everything, and then this version will come out soon after. Less late game, possibly not even either new legendary although togwaggle might still make it for a final push. Get all that AE add a bunch of useless junk to your deck out, and add in the tempo cards and this is the deck that will actually be able to close the game out.
4. Mech/rush warrior: (boom?) I haven’t decided yet if this will include the boom bomb combo to just eventually win yet, but I’m leaning towards it doesn’t fit. However, that being said, I’m leaving myself open to the idea of a version combining two out of these three in some way. This is the deck I see standing a chance against the aggro ones, as long as they are able to keep pace in the early game and not just lose immediately (which I think they can do). Probably the most balanced decks of the ones I’m scared of, but also will probably be played the least as it doesn’t just beat any one specific strong deck. Will probably require the most thought to win.
Secret Pal might be a thing but cards like Unseen Saboteur, Hecklebot, Spellward Jeweller and rotation of Naturalize, DKs and Bloodbloom will definetly make end for any OTK meta, promise
I'm really scared of Bomb Warrior, not because I think it'll be tier 1 but because I think it's going to horrible to lose to. It's completely uninteractive, completely reliant on RNG, and I guarantee it'll make me rage at some point. I just hope it turns out to be too inconsistent to see competitive play.
Well control decks don't have as much AOE in this first expansion of the year, so aggro will probably rule. Unfortunately my fear of that is then a lot of these new cards wont get played. I don't see OTk decks becoming a thing with all the new disrupter cards.
Imp Warlock is the only possible thing from RoS that gives me concern. I see a lot of people talking about Aggro Pally, but mark my words, without Divine Favor aggro Pally is nothing to fear.
Togwaggle scheme. If the nat nozwhisker combo ever takes off it's gonna be broken as hell.
Will this end up with being a "concede against rogue if you're anything but aggro" expansion? Flashbacks to quest rogue.
It will. It is the same as quest rogue. Weak vs aggro and 100% win vs control. Blizzard didn't learn.
Hopefully with all those new aggro token decks around, rogue players will be forced to abandon the deck after losing 8 games out of 10, the 2 being random control warriors.
murloc shaman, OP best aggro deck in the meta and first nerf of the year...
cya kids
Murlocs will just stand there with very low stated points and a nerfed flametongue totem. Do not worry much about it as my favorite class shaman got demolished pretty hard right now. I'm pretty sure there are better minions to play than just playing murlocs.

Secret Paladin on the other hand, turn 1 Secretkeeper, turn 2 Never Surrender! + The Coin + Sunreaver Spy? Ehh, that sounds disgusting to me.
Boredom scares me the most.

I fear the murlocs, those little bastards are so annoying to play against.
With ODD Paladin and ODD Warrior rotating out nothing that scares me....

I hope so, I'm a murloc and need my pals. mgrrlmgrl

We survived all that with 300+ more cards, soon they will all be gone.

Im scared of Pogo Hopper rogue got more bounce and more shuffle into deck so control will have a time trying to beat pogo hoppers
