Yep, at lower ranks if you try to play your Boulderfist ogres and Chillwind Yetis you actually can not winif the opponent plays Jaina/Rexxar/Guldan/Hadronox shenanigans.
One single card out-values your entire deck.
I am personally not a fan of these infinite value cards neither, as I really liked playing control mirrors where you knew how many threat your opponent had, and you had to manage your removal accordingly. The game has been moving away from this since, first with Discoveries then with DKs. Now if thats a good thing is another debate.
Zul'Jin? Hellfire to clean-up their 2-3 health minions (play a Defile afterward to rub even more salt in the wound). Watch as you spent 4-6 mana to deal a 10 mana swing turn. Stabilization commences. Rexxar? Gul'Dan and watch as they scramble to double hunter's mark your board of value or scramble for a miracle poisonous bloatbat. Warlock still has the most powerful DK and among the most powerful board clears in the game.
Jaina? If playing control just force them to use their board clears inefficiently by never playing more than two things at a time. Heck, when you can you can even avoid playing anything sometimes. The longer the game goes on for them the lower their chances of winning becomes. The decks that use use Jaina don't exactly have reach (especially in standard where there are no torches or Kazakus potions to worry about). Again this is where Gul'Dan is very strong. If you're playing almost no minions & are either picking off their minions with your hero power or hitting face if they have no water eles up they are forced to tank the value that they get out of their cards and are forced into many awkward turns. Contrary to popular believe Jaina doesn't just spawn water eles out of thin air. It takes resources/trades to do that.
Dr. Boom is the only real offender to pull off a win against if you aren't playing hyper aggression, OTKs, or infinite value. They boast high amounts of armor (with some luck) and pull removal & value out of thin air without any respect for what is or is not on your board.

I've come to the realisation that hearthstone is literally one of the worst games out there, it's just a money grab by blizzard.
necroing this thread and creating an account just to add this information based comment was really necessary i guess
