I'm in full "fuck it" mode and trying with purple's jade shaman. I'm half way there at rank 8 3 stars after starting at 10 the other day. It probably won't work, but I'd rather stay down here than play aggro paladin.
In my opinion the best and most versatile deck to take on any deck in the meta is the good ol' cubelock. It just has everything for almost any situation and while it can be countered by many shenanigans, it just keeps on rolling so smoothly game after game with a wide variety of options and value. It is actually quite fun to pilot too and if only it wasn't played so much and percieved as a cancer deck I would be playing it much more! At the moment I steer away from it and try to homebrew my own stuff. I just couldn't hit level 10 with any other deck it seemed, so I caved and got to level 10 just now with it. From now on it will be meme city again!
To be clear I'm using my own "Voidlord-factory" cube deck which excludes the Doomguards alltogether so it leans towards the control veresion. It just has everything! Mountain Giants are your big beaters which can be duplicated and triplicated with cubes and Manipulators. Hellfires, Defiles and Doomsayers clear aggro. Voidlords, Guldan and N'zoth protects you and adds huge late game value. And as said before it has it's counters and it can be beaten but for me it is the best and most versatile deck to play. Seldom I have a feeling that a match up is unwinnable after the Raza nerf.

I play the same deck only with doomguards and without mountain giants.
Seems like everyone has climbed enough with aggro decks so mid to control populates the ladder. I would take exodia questless mage. Why? It wins 100% of time vs controlock wins most games vs cubelock depends vs aggros but should lose secret mage is the absolute worst for exodia but yeah right now the questless exodia is very good specially cause most ppl wont realize u are exodia so they will trade on ur minions.
Secret Mage is probably the fastest one atm to rank up specially if u have Aluneth early on

I am a quirky kind of player, so my words cannot be taken too seriously, but I hate randomness to the bone! If pitted against aggro I 100% must get a Voidlord out with a Possessed Lackey it hurts my very soul not knowing which of the demons it'll summon. For me knowing it will be Void-Daddy every single time is honey to my heart and I'll gladly let the Giants do the beating :P
Cubelock is 12th best deck and control Warlock is 3rd. So yeah cube Warlock not a good choice.
LOL, says who? Vicious syndicate? HSreplay? Tempostorm? You do realize that nobodies rankings are gospel. There are many many takes on the meta, and "rankings" change depending on what rank you are at, what time of day and month it is, etc. Saying "Cubelock is 12th best" as if it is cut and dry and you can actually rank decks that tightly is beyond ridiculous. Plenty of people have taken "the 12th best deck" to legend, so how exactly is it "not a good choice"???? Try not to be so closed-minded about your favorite rankings website. It might actually help you in your deck choice and play.

And Hearthstone is the game you choose to play? Seems like an...unusual....choice.

I prefer dumping my hand as fast as possible with so much paladin on the ladder. I rarely but sometimes find myself in the position of not pulling anything from lackey i don't know if 2 voidlords are too few demons in your deck to get the much needed combo off. I played a Spitefull priest with 2 mind controls and my experience was underwhelming to be honest.

Warhammer 40 00 - Conquest LCG from Fantasy Flight Games was the best god damn card game ever set foot on this world and I loved it so much! It got cancelled because Games Workshop and FFG put an end to their relationship.
Believe me, I'm.. uuh.. struggling at times playing HS ;) (Every now and then I might have written a huge rant out of nowhere!)
If you really hate warlocks, I am undefeated against them with Purple's shaman deck. Even including the last game where he gnomeferatu'd one of my hexes and one of my devolves away. They are so vulnerable to milling.

I was playing control lock exclusively the other day then had both my Voidlords hexed. Been trying other decks ever since. Is this a sensible decision? Probably not, but that felt terrible.

Actually it was Blizzard's Mike Donais (Hearthstone's Principal Game Designer) that came out and said according to their data Cubelock was the 12th best deck prior to the nerfs.
That being said I am still using Cubelock as I like the way it plays and my ladder climb is going fine for now (Rank 3 currently). But yeah...it wasn't some random website that posted that information. It was one of the main guys from Hearthstone.
Suggestions?
aggro palla, call to arms+ divine favor OP OP

Don't sleep on aggro/midrange Hunter.
Dragon combo priest

The meta is revolved around cubelock so it's not an amazing choice, it can be good but for me spiteful priest has been working a lot. So far rank 6
