So i play hearthstone since September 2014 and soon i discovered i love to collect as many golden cards as possible.
Since then i've been on a quest to aquire them all, and apart from playing, i bought packs very often. Right now i already bought for €2000 on packs...
But hey... a man needs a hobby right :)
right now i have almost 90% of ALL cards ever released in gold, most legendaries too.
I have two questions;
1. Is there already 1(or more) players who own a 100% complete golden game?
2. If not, is it even possible?
I made 3 "demo decks" with 30 golden legendaries just for show(you cant win with it) for the curious people.
People who read this and want to see, add me oranjeboven#1976
Wtf? You think you are cool or what is this shit post about?
No one want to see the power of your credit card and add you
You have a real problem. 2000 bucks for a f2p. Seriously get help and invest your money in better stuff.
Thanks for your reply :)
No I don't care if i'm "cool" i'm just an avid collector.
Same as people who collect stamps, beercaps, cars, etc.
Just wanted to chat about it with others who like it. No need to misjudge me, besides, 2000€ in total for a hobby... i think i'm just "small people" compared to what most people spend on their hobby.

The op is free to spend his money on whatever he pleases, and so are you, me or whoever. You are actually nobody to reply in such a manner to an educated and respectful post, and nobody to judge him. He is just sharing his hobby, if you dont like it fine, nobody is forcing you to post in this thread or any other for that matter.
Op: great man, have fun with your golden cards. I love golden cards but however i dont think they are worh that much money, therefore im not willing to spend it. But i wish i had them ;)
Mr Pinguin: I actually think you need a serious help and also maybe return to school and learn economy again. Players like author of this topic are the ones who keep this game free for those who refuse to pay any money for it.
And actually 2000$ is not that much to pay for a hobby that brings you fun every day. There are much more expensive hobbies out there.
...and that's exactly why I decided, early on, that I would never care about golden cards ;)
Seriously, I'm 'collection addicted' enough as it is with normal cards. I keep every useless card I open, even (especially!!) Legendaries. Hey I even kept Nat Pagle and Millhouse Manastorm... But as soon as I get a golden card that doesn't fill a hole in my card collection, it goes to the dusting bin. Else I could never keep up with the pace at which new cards are issued ;)
I fully understand your point of view though! and I think I remember reading that Kripparian is very close from a full golden collection, but he's waiting until he has all the necessary dust to create it in one go. Maybe other streamers are also close to that point?
Who is Kripparian?
sorry for noob question, i was too busy collecting so missed out on all that
Way to go on your collection. But aren't Elite Tauren Chieftain and Gelbin Mekkatorque craftable in the 'reward' set right now, so golden as well? You only can get them by spending dust, that is the downside I believe, so you need 9600 dust for golden and normal, but still.
And yes Kripparian is the only one I know who is actively going for a full golden collection and is on it's way to achieving it. Only downside is the new expansions, al though he of course is a very active player and generates a lot of gold, dust and spending his own money, although for him it's almost a bussiness investment.
I also want to have all the cards in normal, al though I dusted some not so valuable epics and legendarys to get other cards I wanted. I'm hoping Blizzard will release some way to get older sets like gvg complete, with paying like an adventure-price for it. This makes Wild in my opinion also more fun in the long run. They announced that they are thinking about it, so maybe in three/four years we can get it.
Kripparian spends more than 1k dollars for every card expansion, then it comes out. He open packs, until he has all the cards, minus maybe one legendary. Then he has a spreadsheet of all his collection - amount of dust in his possession and amount of dust needed to make golden collection in one sitting. Yeah, he doesn't disenchant the extra cards, so his "disenchant extra" button is around 500k dust. That way he won't get extra copy of a golden card, he just crafted, plus he waits for card nerds, because then you can get disenchant full value.
And yeah. He plays mostly arena. Around 14k wins. So he gets a lot of packs. And he still isn't there, at full.
Golden Tauren Chieftain can be easily obtained from ebay. But Gelbin is probably unobtainable. Maybe he could persuade Blizzard to give it to him, when it is really the last golden card missing in his collections.

PS. He was the one, who discovered glitch in MSG packs - that fraction cards have more probability to appear, by getting over 200 copies of each gang card.
I had to decide that I was not going to invest that much money on this game, and so I started to DE my golden cards, even legendaries that I have acquired :( But it is awesome that you have been able to get so many. I am curious to see how you fare when there are three expansions a year! Also, my bigger hobby is LEGO, so I feel you on the monies spent.... lol
I think there's someone on this site who had a full collection. Check out LiveMorph, he's probably the only real competition for the OP. I don't know if he's still collecting, or if he's still updating his collection on this site using InnKeeper, but yeah, it's pretty impressive stuff.

Everything is better in golden!
2000 bucks on packs?
You know what they say about people from Eindhoven. The craziest.
I knew about those two cards and i don't count them in as official.
for me "all cards ever", are those which every person has a chance of obtaining them.
But that doesn't hide the fact that i just died a little bit inside ;)

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?

I think you deserve to have gelbin and tauren chieftain in gold too, we should help the guy by making a petition.
Leve de koningin!

PPS. Sorry for double. Mobile.

For me last thing in the world is being a collector tho only time I enjoyed collecting was in ES skyrim weapons and armors.
