I've actually been playing C'Thun Druid a lot these last couple days and I've been getting beat pretty bad by a ton of decks. Zoo, midrange pally, shamans, 30 OTK Priest, Rogues.
You people will always find something to complain about instead of spending that time trying to learn the counterplays to C'Thun. Children.
Yeah I feel like Blizzard basically built the deck themselves and then made it powerful enough to get a high winrate; pretty sure people will be glad to see the back of C'Thun when it leaves in 2 years. That said it's fun enough to begin with so you might as well enjoy that while it lasts.
C'thun decks were supposed to be the beginner's deck and guide on the basics of Hearthstone. This is why they nerfed aggro. So nerf players have a working cheap deck that doesn't just go face.
I beat just about every C'thun deck I come across with Yogg-Saron mage. Drop C'thun into my Ice block and I'll Drop Yogg and win the game unless Yogg fireballs my face....
People will always find stuff to complain about. However I'd much prefer a meta where you face a load of C'thun decks (from different classes I might add) rather than the brain dead aggro we had before combined with secret pally just wrecking most other decks.

How to become ∞ at arena: - practice, practice, win, dominate, profit.
C'thun decks are basically half built arena decks. All you have to do is fill in the blanks. I personally like playing zoo, and I'm staying away from using C'thun and focusing on how to craft great decks without using any Old Gods...for now. Im staying away from C'thun 100% but once the dust settles, I'm sure he'll be an issue, just not as big of one. He really hasn't been as much of an issue, his awesome minions are the issue. The curve is brainless an easy while we find out the meta against the Old Gods. Keep up figuring it out. It's in there somewhere.

But how does I counterplay vanilla minions? :P
Dont get me wrong, I'm not arguing C'thun is pre-nerf Patron levels of absurdly difficult... but I think people haven't really spent much time with the deck if all they think is you're going to play on curve and win. Unlike Secret Paladin who was notorious for just outvaluing you at every mana slot, C'thun minions aren't able to do that.

Articles I suggest every player reads to improve at the game;
C'thun is very clearly meant to be a beginner's deck. The minions are straight-forward, the win condition is very clear, and there aren't any complex plays to play into, or play around.
I understand that midrange is the most boring of decktypes, but personally, I prefer this to every new player being forced to play face hunter. (Nothing against face-hunter, it's just that new players shouldn't learn that face > trade)
I think C'Thun will be like mech mage. It's relatively easy to get started, cheap, and powerful for a month. Sooner or later something will get figured out that will make C'Thun decks look perfectly fair.

People who refuses to play aggro out of principle are even worse than people who play exclusively aggro.
One should seek to become a complete player and play all archetypes, including ones that he despises for whatever irrational reasons.
Wow, talk about skill. WIth the introduction of C'thun decks and his disciples , all you have to do is play on curve
with little to no card draw at ALL and whoever draws the best curve simply wins the game. I bet you people will get sick of this wotog shit
within a few days.
blizzard is famous for low iq, nothing new
mess with the best, die like the rest

Ummm..
Wasn't that the whole point?

I hate this meta already.
Tempo Mage is unplayable.

Really? I used only tempo mage to get my 11 packs. Completely owned C'Thun decks using 1 cost spells and Archmage Antonidas.

20K G's saved up every new expansion.

Already a bit sick of it, but it's super early days, there'll be broken meta decks shortly.. part of the fun now is building those decks.
I guess if you don't like building decks then yeah, maybe take a week off.
Ibn Fahd.
Building decks is fun, but the whole meta around rank 1-5 is all C'thun druid or aggro shaman right now, you don't get to test anything.

It's called-- hard removal saved for c'thun. Yep. Super challenging you guys.
It's early but so far it's hard not to agree, not a fan whatsoever.
Last 3 matches with my experimental Beast Druid: 3 Priest C'Thun decks.
So, you don't put any threat removal or silences in your deck? And you think it's C'Thun's fault that your deck is terrible? MM'kay then....
