Hi there. For some time, blizzard basically wants to force me to play warrior in some way. After I totally refused to play the pirate questline, today I got the Rokara hero card and said, why not, also have vanndar, let's give this one a shot. So what popped up is this one:
It seems quite enjoyable to play and to have some potential. I am not a great deck builder and would ask for more experienced opinions on how this one can improve. Only tested in casual, the statistics so far show:
vs pirate quest warrior - L;
vs another theorycraft control warrior - W, very interesting game;
vs quest mage - W;
vs quest druid - W;
vs another big warrior - L;
vs weird hunter - W (conceded on turn 2 for no reason);
Feels like it needs more aggro hold to me, dunno :)
neither have i ever played much warrior, nor am a great deck builder, giving stuff a try. what would you remove to what to keep the idea with vanndar and to control aggro?

I think trying to combine Vanndar and big minions is the wrong idea to begin with. I see him more like a combo enabler and even then, you need to draw this one card before your combo pieces. Also the discount means you want to play the cards from hand and not cheat them out through the Grunt.
hmm, your points sound quite logical, will check those up. it's just that after all this time i now want to start doing stuff of my own and am fed up with aggro already. thanks :)

vs ele shaman - L (could have won if i drew any board clear other than one cannons though);
vs another control warrior - L.
against aggro keeps running uncool.
vs the new pala with handbuff and the new hero card - massive win despite he played all of his win conditions until late game.
this said, my question evolves into "how to control aggro without 1-2-3-4 cost minions"? any ideas?
Dude bro, like wtf are these cards. Id cut like half of this deck. Love Grunt and Faceless combo lol.

I'd suggest this deck.
Control the aggro decks and use Rattlegore + Faceless as a Finisher

That said, you can probably steal some ideas from the deck over on vicious syndicate:

Their early game looks better (namely Bulwark, Rancor, Minefield, Frozen Buckler, Shield Slam, Athletic Studies).
I had to check and indeed Baron Geddon is indeed a standard card (part of the core set) ;)
I think outside of Classic Mode, I've only seen it see play in Mercenaries;)
